Great joint right in the heart of Eugene! Friendly staff greeted and took my order. Food came out fast and was delicious. Brisket was good, turkey was VG! Pulled port was ok but still good. Potato salad was bomb, very unique and well executed. Coleslaw wasn't dripping with dressing which made me happy as I hate sog-slaw. The baked beans had a meat and other yummies in there too. Eclectic vibe with a lot of pig and cow statues that made you smile as you looked around. Really liked that they had the condiment "islands" that had sauces, s&p napkins utensils and all. Great place, I'll be back on my next visit to Eugene!

I don't know how many times I have driven past this place and never tried it. We were trying to decide where to go for date night and my wife suggested we give it a try since we had driven past earlier in the day and she had mentioned wanting to try it. When we got there it was almost empty but smelled amazing. We split a meat plate with a couple of sides and I'm happy to say we were blown away by how good it is. The potato salad is the best I've had at a restaurant. The baked beans were also very good. The meats were very tender with excellent flavor. The sauces they have were an awesome compliment to the meats. Their bar is very well staffed and they have a great beer selection. We will be back. They just need to add apple pie and or peach cobbler for dessert.

3 Meat Salad from Tim&Bills' BBQ, Eugene OR

I ordered the smoked meats salad via GrubHub. Wow was it good! I'm watching Wimbledon. Could NOT take a break to pick up food. Tim and Bill Wests' Bros is very close by on 13th... The meat is perfectly done, slightly rare, the greens include arugala! And the red onions were perfectly sliced. The salad dressing (hold the blue cheese I am lactose intolerant) was nice and sharp. Bill and Tim: You've done it again! BTW: I hadda friend in town from Palm Springs and his only question is why didn't I take him to Dicki Jo's again. LOL

Huge portion sizes and authentic flavors. I'm from the south (south Louisiana and spent 7 years in Houston) and it felt like this place wouldn't be out of place in Houston. I liked the hushpuppies and cajun sauce - it felt like home to me! Everything was fried up perfectly. I'd come back to check out some more of their bbq because we only got to try the sandwiches this time.

Pulled Pork, "Brisket"...

There's nothing BBQ about this place besides maybe stocking some tangy sauce that's reddish in color. The meat, well it was cooked, but to even call the pork pulled is a stretch. Brisket, yeah, I suppose there are people out there who shred it, but even Arby's slices theirs. As for the shredding....the 2 Meat Plate had two piles of mush that identified itself as pork and beef...and both were about as watery as if they had just been pulled out of a boiling pot of water and mashed with a fork. The sides...mmmm, mmmm....Texas soggy bread, and I do mean soggy/floppy, like straight out of the microwave floppy...then the clump-o-mac & cheese mush, you know, cook the noodles for 4 minutes according to the instructions, so 8 minutes should make them twice as good, right? The pork & beans, OK, they were slightly edible...so I guess those might get a second star, but just those. I get it, this is Oregon and the only smoking people are known for around here only became legal like 10 years ago, so it's not like I was thinking this was going to be an award winning meal ready to take over the Food Network or something, but I'm not kidding when I say this...while in the military I've had multiple MRE's that tasted better, were less watery, and if push came to shove, I'd willingly eat again. Bill & Tim's...let's just say that there are probably homeless people around here who would turn it down. I tried, but I couldn't even finish the substance that identified as meat...even after applying some sauce... I'm a hard no on being a repeat customer. Seriously, a ketchup sandwich made out of two heels and a splash of tap water to get the last of it out of the bottle would have been just about as good.

Brisket, pulled pork, beans; unfortunately all were dry, luke-warm and not very flavorful.

Maybe it was an off night. Maybe because it was a Wednesday (?!) and it was a slow night. Maybe because it was summer and students weren't around. I will keep trying to give the benefit of any doubt because I hate leaving an unfavorable review. First I will say that the service was great. Very friendly, helpful, attentive. Ambiance here is also good; festive, relaxed, clean. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. Not ALL of it was but the main attraction was. Between 3 of us we got: - potato salad (very good) - coleslaw (pretty standard) - sweet potato fries (over loaded with salt) - baked beans (dry, not warm) - pulled pork (dry, not very flavorful, not warm enough) - brisket (dry, not warm enough, decent flavor) - Brisket Philly Cheesesteak ( this got thumbs up) - margarita (so sweet and sour we added water to it) The sauces including the ranch and fry sauce are all very good and seem to be homemade. Like I said I'd give anything to give it a better rating and hope that it was an off night. But given the number of really good BBQ food trucks in town (Black Market, Paper Plate), I don't know that I'd do this again too soon.

The pork links are good with the Carolina mustard sauce, while the pulled pork is good with the spicy barbecue sauce or the regular barbecue sauce. The pork and beans are good as always, and the mac & cheese is quite good too. Relatively quick service. Not a ton of ambiance. Good Texas toast.

Very good bbq very impressive with everything my family enjoys it

We came from Cali and enjoyed the food and the customer service and staff I will come back just for the food

Ok, so I only ordered take out. The Ruben sandwich is definitely the best I've had in town! The brisket is cooked to perfection. The bread was not soggy. It's a huge sandwich that held up even the next day! I can't speak too much to the service. But I appreciate that my toys were in a bag on the side and were still crispy! When I drive by the restaurant, it looks nice and I now want to go in and have the full experience and ambiance.

BBQ chicken sandwich, mac and cheese, cajun tots, fries.

As usual, very tasty. Can be a bit spendy but that old saying you get what you pay for suits this place. Recommend.

The service is hands down the best I've experienced in Oregon -- attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. I'd give top ratings for the food, atmosphere, and overall service without hesitation. The fish and chips are the best I've had in Oregon, perfectly cooked, crispy, and packed with flavor. They truly don't miss when it comes to seasoning. And that special sauce? I loved it so much I started calling it the "Bayou Sauce" because it tastes like it came straight out of New Orleans! It's that good. I'm very picky about smoked meat, but theirs completely won me over. My brother even brought some home for me to try, and it was incredible tender, flavorful, and smoked to perfection. This place in Eugene, has such a strong sense of community. I've never walked into a restaurant and genuinely felt so much love and positive energy. The food was beyond incredible my mom described it as "fire," and she wasn't wrong! The desserts are amazing. You can truly taste how fresh and homemade everything is. I'm also a huge hot wings fan, and their wings are some of my favorites. And don't skip the fresh lemonade -- we had blueberry lemonade, and it was absolutely refreshing and delicious. The gumbo was very tasty. I loved the fresh ingredients used. The flavors were definitely there. Overall, I'm beyond impressed and can't wait to come back. This spot is a true gem!

The brisket burnt ends were on point--easily the best I've had. The smoked clam chowder was also outstanding, and honestly the best clam chowder I've come across anywhere. We went back the next day, but the burnt ends and chowder are only served on certain days. I ended up getting the fried okra and a brisket sandwich. The okra was cooked perfectly, and the brisket sandwich was so tender it didn't even need a knife. Pro tip: ask for your brisket "extra juicy." The staff was great. Mary brought us their house-made honey mustard, and it was incredible--we ended up dipping both our fries and okra in it. One of the cooks even came out to talk with us, which was a nice touch. Hands down, some of the best brisket I've had. Definitely worth checking out if you're in town.
