If I could give them 3.5 stars I would. The food is great. Meat quality seems decent along with sides etc. A great variety and decent price for the all you can eat. The atmosphere is nice. The restraint itself is designed well and clean. The biggest issue is customer service. No one has ever been out right rude but you do feel ignored or like a bother. You constantly have to stop someone to help you. Not once did someone approach our table to help until we were ready for the bill. It is not fun having to chase someone for water refills either. It feels like they don't want to provide all you can eat yet you are paying for it. It just doesn't have that inclusive feeling. I've come twice now both when they are busy and slow and both times we received the same type service or lack of. It's a shame that in a customer service oriented business this is where they are lacking. I hope they can make some changes and make the experience for their customers far better and one they deserve. read more

There are a couple differences despite being the same company but I've gotta say ... you can't go wrong with the Bulgogi at either place.. there's a fish stew that is off the hook, I don't remember the name but I call it Grandma's fish soup, it has a bunch of different fish in a broth straight from God/Buddha/insert your deity However I was here to add to my gut health with the Kimchi but I think it needs to ferment more but I'm not a Korean food specialist... great food tho, great for groups read more

After a horrific experience at the other kbbq place in town, I was turned off of the food completely. I've heard good things about KKoki though, and we finally gave it a try. I hate that they don't have more table/chair options, it's primarily booths. Booths and their squishy seats can be an issue for someone with hip issues, but thankfully we got a half booth option. The waitress was great about explaining the options when I told her we were new to kbbq, I wish she gave a little more guidance on cooking. It seemed other tables had a really good system down, while we were a hot mess. But I appreciated her explaining the different sauces and sides. The meat was all good. It tasted fresh, and the portions were good. She accidentally brought out the wrong meat- a pork dish. She quickly brought out the right meat, but funny enough well all thought the incorrect meat was one of the tastiest. It's very salty and very sugary- so drink plenty of water! You get unlimited veggies too, but I wish they had more And gave you more when asked. Even when asking for more, we got very little veggies. I'm guessing people waste them a lot, so I understand it. Out of all the meats we tried, none were bad. We all left feeling like it was a MUCH better experience than what we had at the competitor, and the food was delicious. The cheapest AYCE is $28/pp so for two we felt it was too much for a weekend lunch. So, spouse ordered dol sot bibim bap and I got the chaedol baegi bbq. Both came with unlimited side dishes. The meat ($26) was a massive pile! We almost couldn't finish. Very tasty. DSBBB was large bowl and well seasoned. Side dishes are super fresh and crisp but only six whereas a more traditional Korean place would bring 10-14, so we must hold back one star. Service is good. We left there stuffed! read more

Easily one of the best meals I've had since moving here. Banchan is decent however meat is pretty good and filling as usual. Service is great, good date spot and won't leave you smelling like KBBQ when you're done thanks to the awesome fans directly above the grill. Coming from Vegas and California is spot has been a welcome spot for me and my friends I bring along and have never had KBBQ before they are surprised and fully satisfied in every sense of the word. Went for the ten year old's bday and wow! We left entirely stuffed and satisfied. Sorry guys, if you're gluten free this isn't the best option. Technically you can probably avoid gluten, but for the price it limits the choices so I don't feel it's worth it. We got the lowest tier option and felt it was good enough for a splurge. The atmosphere was bright and lively, lots of K-Pop and noisy banter. The tables are kind of crowded and weird the way they're set up with the grill but you get used to it. The food is yummy, the sides are replenished frequently. There's a two hour limit, a one and a half hour limit on ordering and only three items at a time so we worried about how frequently we'd get the chance, but the wait staff was really attentive, upbeat and on point and we were not disappointed. It was a little chaotic on the first day and I overheard the front desk attendant say they weren't ready for it to be THAT busy. The Portland menu is great but if you're offering AYCE Korean BBQ they should have expected that. You could tell they were overwhelmed and while there were some delays in between orders and changing out the grill, I will not be deducting any points seeing as how they're new and this is a Korean BBQ restaurant that actually offers more than five cuts of meat. The service was actually really good nonetheless. The servers were nice and when they did come around to checking on us, one of the servers helped cut the meat. The different meals plans you get are extensive and I'm impressed that they can offer all of that for the price. For what you're getting, it's super affordable. You get 2 hours to eat so don't hesitate to get up and find a server (honestly). My favorite meats were the LA kalbi and pork jowl. Other places skimp on the serving size but they don't. Everything else we got was also so good! I also love that it's a gas grill and not just a heated stone/pan. It makes it so much more authentic and adds that extra depth of flavor to the meat. I couldn't be more pleased with a new restaurant in my neighborhood. I saw their sign first go up in July and have been eagerly waiting since. Inside the decor is simple and elegant, with plenty of seating so wait times shouldn't be an issue. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The seating itself is pretty comfortable as well. This place is fire, and I don't just mean the grills at the table. I mean some top quality food, that the Santa Clara neighborhood could desperately use. In fact I could easily say it's probably going to be one of the best restaurants in the area. They have all the typical Kbbq dishes some of my favorites are the spicy pork belly, and bulgogi. They do have some interesting rules for the AYCE. Basically you have a two hour limit, and within that time you can only place 4 orders...sooo definitely not "all you can eat," but you can chow down quite a bit of food in that time I suppose. I didn't leave hungry that's for sure. I'm excited to see this place grow, and really root into the neighborhood. I feel like they will be highly embraced. P.s. We loved the place, their food is so delicious. It's CONSTANTLY busy. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because of the wait and the servers aren't ontop of things and it seems like they are too busy to keep up. It's all you can eat with an 1hr and a 1/2 time limit. You cook the meat yourself, which is great! In order to meet the 1 1/2hr time limit I'd suggest ordering the beef as it cooks way faster than the chicken and pork. Our ultimate favorite was the marinaded beef brisket, the flavor was out of this world good! We tried the different meats, they are all good, but that marinated beef brisket is something else! It's expensive but worth it if you have a big appetite and more than just 2 people. read more

I ordered the ojingo bukum somyen - spicy stir fry "fully grilled" squid with vegetables and thin wheat noodles. They were nice enough to throw in complimentary banchan (which consisted of pickled daikon, kimchi, broccoli and marinated tofu) and rice. The banchan is pretty reminiscent of other banchan I've had here in Eugene - bland and not very good. It'll make halfway decent leftovers for fried rice, though. There was zero indication the squid I ate was grilled. I would have to guess it was either very quickly sauteed, or left to simmer in the sauce from raw. The texture was exactly like cartilage, which is exactly what you're trying to avoid when serving squid. It's a bummer, because the sauce was very tasty and the noodles were bomb, but the squid was horrible. Admittedly, my first mistake was ordering food to go on River Road in the first place. Moving past that, I probably won't be ordering this again. Perhaps I ate their worst dish, and everything else is better, but I don't trust a restaurant that finds serving what I just ate to be acceptable. read more

While I enjoy the food here very much and have been coming to this restaurant since the day they opened it's very upsetting that one person cannot do the all you can eat menu. Like I said, I've been coming here since the day they opened and would eat here regularly by myself until they arbitrarily changed it one day. After talking to management they said I was welcome to pay for one adult as well as one kid priced all you can eat....now they say no all you can eat for less than two people. Decided to try this place when we stayed the night in Eugene. I'm familiar with Korean food, but had never done a Korean BBQ. We ordered a dinner with a choice of mixed meats. The meats we tried, with the exception of the chicken thighs, were equally nasty. Fat, fat, and MORE fat! I know fat adds flavor, but when the meat is over 50% fat, that's where I draw the line. It took a long time for the cooker to get hot enough to really start cooking the meats, and there is a timeframe you need to finish eating in, which seemed leisurely, but wasn't what with the slow cooking. Also, you need to change the cooking surface out because it gets crusty and burned, so that adds MORE cooking time for a secind one to heat. The soju cocktail we had was tasty and the best part of the meal! read more

I was able to see a BBQ table and that family was getting really good stuff and it all appeared to be top notch. Overall, I now believe this is the best place in Eugene. Been here before and after COVID, their service is great as always. They stayed clean, wore face shields, and kept distances between tables. Food is always delicious! It's as good as Portland's KBBQ. That marinated bulgogi is perfect and their beef belly is tasty on the premium menu and is worth it. I'm very impressed by their beef, the pork is okay - the wine marinated was the best, teriyaki chicken had a great taste as well (cook the chicken first since it takes a little longer to cook). Their vents work better than others so you don't smell like bqq and have to burn your clothes after a meal. It's nice they don't charge to get more of the appetizers or rice too, some other kbbq is stingy about that. 10 out of 10! Also hidden gem is the steamed egg! Get it! read more

This place has potential but it isn't quite there yet. Be warned they don't know how to split checks and don't check on the tables very often. The food was pretty good we did enjoy some of the marinated meats it's just too bad that we got small servings to prepare for a large group. And it was hard to get the attention of the server for refills. I would recommend this place for a small group of no more then 4 and only if you are all paying on the same tab.
