These donuts are melt in your mouth GREAT! I'm usually not a donut eater but we got a half dozen so I had to eat one... yup and... 3 later I can say they're amazing! They're warm and soft like Krispie Kreme only better. I love that they're made to order. I also ordered an iced latte which was great too. This location has almond milk which I appreciated (and there was no up charge). The only reason I docked a star from a perfect review was the wait. Oh my goodness. The store was half full due it it being breakfast time. There was only one employee taking orders and making the drinks. Well everyone before and after me ordered coffee so we waited a total of 30 minutes to order and get the food. Kind of a bummer as we were in a hurry. Great donuts but I wouldn't recommend ordering online. I ordered mine and waited until the designated time I was given to go into the store. When I got into the store I let them know I was here and I then still had to wait another 40 minutes and still didn't get my order. No worries until one of the employees called out my name and said "you're lucky you're here or your order would've been bumped again." They don't like online orders at this store. Just a warning!! Now for the ppl that Love cake doughnuts, this is your Mecca! They've got a zillion types of goodies, and toppings. They use the same cake recipe but vary the toppings. I mean the bacon encrusted maple glaze doughnut Looked good, but first I do not like cake doughnuts. But it did look tasty... To me doughnuts should be light and airy like a soft pillow. The dough should be made with flour, yeast, water salt, and sugar...left to rise like baby pillows: and made into incredible light pastries. I am very surprised to see most of the "supposed" new doughnut eateries that are not, "Dunkin Kreme"! Making cake doughnuts? Is it that much more expensive or difficult to make a yeast doughnut? I make cakes and yeast breads and to me the only difference is the yeast bread needs a little more love and attention, than a cake. Which u just mix and pour? Well, like I said, if u like cake doughnuts, you will not be disappointed...they offer a plethora of gooey treats with a myriad of toppings. To me, they just looked messy! I keep waiting for a Real doughnut shop to open, with bakers that arrive at 0200 in the morning and start creating their masterpieces....if I had a life to do over , I would be a pastry chef or just a doughnut shop owner. I do not know which yeast doughnut is ur favorite but mine is actually the doughnut made up of left overs from the cut-out yeast doughnuts! They mix Tons of cinnamon, canned apples, and fold it all together and roll it out into a log...then cutting from one end to the next they place the beautiful matrix of apple cinnamon and yeast dough on a rack and into the fryer! A few minutes later they pull them out, drain them, and cover them with a beautiful silky glaze...this my friends is the, pièce de résistance, a Crispy Apple Fritter....many try , few get it right! I love these hot delicious donuts. They are a hot cake donut. My complaint is what others have stated. No place to sit. 2 outside tables and 1 bench with 3 seats inside. I ordered ahead online.. this is a great idea, as it was packed and seems to stay packed So when I entered, a part of the team asked a few minutes into my "line turmoil" if anyone had ordered online. I was the only person to raise my hand. (Bit astonished that in 2021 I was the only to order ahead). Cutting to the gist of it, the team member who asked, promptly made it over to me and my toddler and kindly asked my name. My order wasn't ready yet.. (the system was a bit confusing, online it told me my order would be ready before 945am... I ordered it at 730am, um what..? but that's not the staffs fault). Once she realized my order wasn't ready- I literally handed her my phone so she could write my order down via my EMAIL CONFIRMATION. (She didn't insist I give her my phone, she asked me what I ordered and I was all like, "you can just handle the phone, I'll spare you trying to verbalize this whole order in front of a 30 person line that now kind of resents me...") She handed the written order to her donut maker, he made my donuts, the "drizzle team" that builds your donut, proceeded to grab my fresh donuts and in minutes my order was done, delicious and to perfection. I felt like Bert Reynolds or something, for real though- they did not have to so willingly take care of me like that. I'm from the Midwest, I would have quietly stood in line, heck, probably would have apologized for being upset given the opportunity. I repeat, the Donuts were delish!! (First timer). Side note- I apologize to anyone in that long line that I got skipped ahead of, that said, order ahead players- duh. I'll give them this: the donuts are absolutely delicious, but the wait is completely atrocious and avoidable. For one, they only had one girl making donuts for every single person ordering, which certainly proved to be unwise. And not only that, but Miaya was the slowest moving person I've ever seen in my life. She had a huge crowd of people sitting there waiting, and she was moving slower than creek water. Hi, I didn't have the greatest experience at this shop. The "shift leader"/cashier was rude and impatient. I only had a larger bill to pay and she acted as if I was putting her out. She miss charged me but gave me the correct change. Very weird experience. The donuts were smaller and expensive... Donuts are excellent. Coffee is excellent. Prices are excellent. Make sure you have 2 hours to wait though. Also they like to train their new hires during prime time of orders. This significantly slowed the process. Drinks were taking 30+ mins to make (iced coffee, hot coffee, etc.) and to top it off two of the male employees did not have their masks on their faces covering their noses and even worse they were DRIPPING sweat and WIPING IT ALL OVER THEMSELVES, their clothes, and their gloves (which they DID NOT change). And waited and waited....finally after waiting at the window for 40 minutes my order got to my car...but then the lady forgot my coffees....waited another 10 minutes then She handed me 3 separate cups...I asked her for a beverage holder, she said there in the back and I'm too busy to get me one. Went to duck doughnuts for the FIRST TIME. We ordered 14 doughnuts, just to try a little bit of everything, and we received 7 and without realizing it, drove back to our hotel and opened the box prepared to dig in and realized we did not have all of our doughnuts, and none of them were what we ordered, so we packed up and drove back (with a sleepy baby) and they let us keep the ones we received, plus remade our whole order, gave us a free 1/2 dozen certificate, and threw in a couple more free doughnuts.
