Cool place! Pretty spacious. Nice staff. We got two bagel sandwiches, and they were tasty! I wish they'd put more meat on the sandwich, but to be honest it was fine. They put thin slices of whatever meat you choose. The bagels were perfect; not too thick but big enough to fill my tummy up just right. Little too salty, for sure, but I really enjoyed it! Lady running the cash register was very rude and short. The bagel was good but I don't like cream cheese smeared all over my bagel. They didn't ask it was just slathered on my bagel and all three of my bagels in fact. I have probably eaten here 10 times in the last 5 years. When I go to an event in Myrtle Beach. I make a point of going to The bagel factory. I did a Yelp search prior to my last visit and found other bagel locations with better ratings but could not believe they were better than the bagel factory. I have to say this place never disappoints. I live in Charleston and there are no bagels even comparable to The bagel so I can get in Myrtle Beach. I ate at bagel factory 3 times on a 3 day trip to Myrtle Beach. Did I eat here because it is the best bagel in the world, maybe, but it was more because the place has a no frills neighborhood feel, good food, and good coffee. I loved the total package. The bagels are delicious. They have one size coffee and free refills. On my last day I tried the home fries and they were really good. If you're in town and looking for a quick breakfast stop in here. They don't just serve bagels. read more

This store location is on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. We arrived at 1:30 with 30 minutes to closing. Used a BOGO coupon from the back of a Kroger receipt located a few doors down the street. Two employees looked at us and our coupon like we had 4 heads. The cashier was on the phone doing an inventory of unsold bagels with another location. She was extremely rude to us and the person on the phone. She finally hung up in a huff. Bagel sandwiches include a pickle spear and a side - she told us we did not qualify because we had a coupon! Actually argued with us for several minutes. My wife ordered a Turkey sandwich and I ordered the Tailor Ham and egg bagel, which was on the breakfast menu. What an ordeal. We ate in the restaurant and the employees argued the entire time while 'cleaning'. The bagel racks were wiped off but not cleaned. Never be back. read more

While on vacation in Myrtle Beach around Labor Day, my girlfriend & I went here for brunch. The cashier wasn't friendly. We both got a bagel sandwich like corned beef or pastrami & egg. It was pretty good, nothing to write home about. It was a little small, not much meat. The thing that bugged me the most, was the person who brought the our plates, practically slammed them down on our table without showing any care or interest if we were happy to get our food or had any questions/issues; this rubbed me the wrong way. The parking lot sucks, poor design. You need to get the paper menu in the same line to order. I ordered pumpernickel w/ salmon and capers and she asked would you like some tomatoes w/ that? I said yes (without knowing she charged me .52 for it) The seating area it's not cozy or very clean. My Bagel came OVERLOADED w/ Cream Cheese like I could barely taste the rest of it. Great solid deli / bagels / bfast diner in Myrtle Beach! Well priced and inexpensive, it's a great alternative to the overpriced commercial food along the shore. (Plus, it's away from the all the riff raff). Had turkey on rye, super delicious and filling, plenty o meat. Had a bite of my wife's bagel which was plenty tasty and chewy like a good bagel should be. Simple and unassuming place, just loved it. Only reason giving four and not five stars is some staff seemed a bit unpleasant/short with us (maybe because we were technically tourists and it seemed like more a local's spot?..) but then some others were perfectly fine and friendly. I was so excited about this place when we first arrived in Myrtle Beach. It was the first restaurant I noticed after we checked in to the hotel and the room wasn't quite ready. It was late afternoon so I put it in my memory bank and was determined to try it before our stay in Myrtle Beach was over. On our last morning, my little brother and I decided to walk here and get breakfast for everyone. When we entered there were a few people in front of us, but it gave us some time to look over the menu and the bagel selection to see what we wanted. We both decided on the rainbow bagel and eggs with cheese and a choice of meat. The rainbow bagel was cool to look at and eat but it was the flavor of a regular plain bagel - the scrambled eggs with cheese or Taylor ham added the perfect touch, also. We also got two bacon, egg and cheese bagels and a turkey bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. To drink we each got a coffee and ordered two bottled juices and waters for the other members of our family. My total was about $36 and I got an extra bagel on the side. Everyone loved their bagel. My husband liked it so much, we had to stop by to get him a second bagel on the way to the highway to head back home. Love! read more

An absolute must for your week in Myrtle! Came here nice and early and had our pick of bagels- super soft on the inside with a nice firm outside remind me of bagels up north in the best way. I believe their cream cheeses are made in house- the herb one was excellent. They were even great 2 days later (we stored in plastic bags just on the counter). My wife and I went here because the reviews were good but we ended up disappointed. My wife wanted the bacon egg and cheese everything bagel. The toppings were so thin. I've had thicker bagel sandwhiches from WaWa. On the other hand I got a smoked salmon bagel with capers and it was good but also pretty skimpy when it came to the salmon but not the cream cheese. Sooo much cream cheese to the point where it was almost over powering. We definitely won't be back unfortunately because we really wanted to like this place. read more

Excellent bagels, not NYC bagels but that's something that you don't get outside of NYC. But that's said excellent. Had the bagels with lox, manhattan open face. Was so good we returned two days later and had it again!! They do not skimp on the lox. The menu says 1/4 pound and I believe it. More lox than I've had even in NYC on a breakfast plate. If you're in the area I'd recommend. The place is basic other than the food. It's clean but plain. I don't care about the ambience if the food is good, and I would have had that even if I had to sit on the sidewalk. read more

I went at like 2-3 pm and they were basically sold out of all their bagels and even though I got left with a plain bagel it tasted so goooddddd, so I understood why they were so sold out. The bagel isn't too doughy and when it's warm it tasted so good. I want to go back to try their blueberry and the owner said you can always call in advance and reserve it.
