You know when you have four people with different tastes and budgets, and you want to pick up some lunch to go back to the hotel so you can watch the game? Yeah, that was us. And then there was me, with my food sensitivities. I found Kaminsky's, and thought it would be a decent compromise. The business sign is not very big, and the word, "Kaminsky's," is tiny, so look for, "New York Deli." And make sure you're using your GPS to help. This is a small deli, but all the necessary components seem to be there. Their bread is made in a local bakery. I got a Pastrami Reuben on GF bread, and hubby got the Cheesesteak sandwich. I really enjoyed my sandwich; the flavors in the sauerkraut were delicious! A small portion of the pastrami was slightly stringy, though. Hubby was not excited about his cheesesteak. He had expected that the description, "grilled," would mean that the bread was toasted, but it was not. Others in the party seemed to be satisfied with their choices. We stopped in for lunch and the place was busy with orders (always a good sign). Both the guys behind the counter were extremely friendly and took the time to happily greet everyone who came in and seemed to know a fair number of the customers either by name or by their regular order. I got a "Don't forget the lox on my bagel" and it was amazing. I usually don't finish such a large portion but it was completely gone before I knew it! Others in my party chose different subs and ate those up as well. Overall, definitely will return on our next trip to Myrtle Beach and totally wish they were up North where I live!!! read more

We stopped by for a quick lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. I got the Rueben combo with pastrami and corned beef. It was fantastic, the meat was well prepared and piled high. The wife got a club which was very good. One kid got the cannon special and it surprised me the most. I did not think that peanut butter and bananas on a grilled panini with strawberry sauce would have been so delightful. The other kid got a kids ham which had a ton of meat for a kids meal. All around we will visit again for another round. The shop itself is tucked away between restaurants, and the staff were very polite and attentive. read more

Oh my god... that is the only way to describe the greatest sandwich I have ever tasted. I ordered the pastrami Reuben on sourdough and it...was...amazing. The staff were friendly and very happy to have us in the Deli. Friendly atmosphere with very clean tables, floors and restrooms. I went back on Sunday to eat again, but unfortunately they're closed on Sundays. Order the pasta salad too, it's awesome! read more

Sum up: sweet people but overpriced. Born and raised in New York, down here for work, when I drive passed and saw the "NY deli" I wanted to have high hopes but kept my expectations low. Food was good, amazing. Service is great, everyone was sweet. However EXTREMELY overpriced and small portion. Part of the appeal of a typical bodega in nyc is how cheap it is. One bagel sandwhich, just egg and cheese, $15, hash- barely a full cup of potatoes for $12.99. Spent over $30 on breakfast and still was hungry after. read more

I have given Kaminsky's my business for no less than the last decade. The 1st owner (I believe goes by Mike Kaminsky) ...he had a great business going. The line was always out the door and the food was great. Did he have attitude? Yes, because he had expectations. The restaurant has gone down little by little....with the next owners...and especially now with the current owners. Less food and less quality. The price I paid for only a sandwich just the other day....was twice as much....and didn't taste near as good. I expect to see an empty storefront before long. read more

My buddy got a Reuben. I got Pastrami on Rye with mustard (untoasted). Both were DELICIOUS and the staff really were great with anything we needed. The food and the service are 5 star. They get 4 for two reasons...first they have New York prices not South Carolina we spent $30 for two sandwiches, one soup and one drink. Second they let had a vagrant asleep at one of the tables the entire time we where there, no he didn't bother anyone, but did change my feel of the place. Clam chowder (Manhattan style) was hot as lava - and had nice spice too, with plenty of clams and veggies. Rueben was lightly toasted but also lava hot inside, great corned beef just a little light on sauce and kraut. Princess had the lil Italy basically cold italai sub, but plenty stuffed, ice cold veg and all fresh eat and cheese. Potato salad had to much mustard/tart for either of us, but the tuna macaroni was good. Large serving sizes, small patio area and clean dining room with about 12 tables and very nice staff. read more

New ownership is here and not playing games! Place has the same legitimate NY deli feel. Large menu that had a lot of great options and all different from the next. I got the "Dads lunch break"!! Wow! I'm not a chicken salad fan outside of my house but they knocked this out the park. Sandwich was massive and with even larger flavor. Not your average chicken salad sandwich! So good! And Massive! Wished I snapped a picture cause it looked as good as it tasted. Service with a smile! Kaminsky's where do I begin, I've recently stumbled upon this hidden little gem and haven't stop eating there since the food is amazing the service is out of this world 3 staff members are always so welcoming and friendly. After a week of boozing, bbq, calabash seafood buffets and fast food, I found myself longing for a good deli for lunch while on vacation. This place is the real deal. Chicken salad with bacon and American on a croissant was on point. And their turkey ham blt was fantastic too. Lots of interesting specialty sandwich options. And the staff and owner were super friendly and accommodating. They were out of a few things when we got there after 2 but the quality of the food and great team behind the counter made up for it. Will definitely return next trip to Myrtle beach. Fair prices as well. read more
