Went today to get three bagels. 2 French toast and a cinnamon and raisin. They say they make all bagels daily . Throw out everyday what's left. Got home and they were so tough and chewy . I have had their bagels before and they are so good. I called to ask if the bagels were made this morning and she advised yes! All I can say is she lied! Very disappointed ! read more

I got a egg bacon, cheese bagel, blueberry w/cream cheese and crumb cake. The egg bacon and cheese bagel was very flavorful I really liked it. The blueberry and cream cheese bagel was definitely different. The cream cheese does not taste white cream cheese it kinda reminds me of whipped cottage cheese. But it was good. The crumb cake... If you get this make sure that you either eat this outside or over something because it's extremely messy, crumbly but it's nice and moist and tasty. read more

This shop has a nice selections of bagels and toppings, bagel sandwiches,as well as pastries. there is plenty of space to eat in, but we decided to take ours to go. The bagels were truly East Coast style bagels meaning they were crisp on the outside and tender in the middle. They even have lox and lox spread. Hubby had an onion bagel with lox spread, and I had a pumpernickel bagel with butter and jelly. The muffins looked amazing; I might try those next time. Nope, I won't be back. I asked for our bagels to be toasted, yet somehow, they weren't even warm by the time it was handed to me in a bag and opened within two minutes. Their lox spread is not like the yummy lox-flavored cream cheese you can buy at the grocery; just plain (tasteless) cream cheese with flecks of lox in it - and not enough lox to taste/bother. Tried to spread my schmear a little more with a plastic knife, but the utensil was such poor quality (or the cream cheese was so firm?) that the available tool couldn't get the job done... Food was hit and miss. Being a Jersey guy anyplace with Taylor Ham is a bonus! Bagels anywhere other then NY/NJ are lacking. These bagels were decent. Garlic had plenty of garlic as did the everything with seasonings. Cinnamon Raisin w/cream cheese was a little light in the cream cheese but bagel had enough cinnamon flavor. A miss was the taylor ham on my sandwich My wife's had 3 slices, mine 2 and only on 3/4 of the sandwich. I did return the next day and bought bagels only and cream cheese. I brought TH from home(Jersey guy that I am!) Service was good both time. Efficient and welcoming. Will go back when in town. read more

I literally got a smear of cream cheese and when I went to the counter the girl asked another girl to help me and said I was complaining. When I asked for more cream cheese she said that's all we give when you order meat because it's like a piece of cheese. But I paid for the cream cheese, so why take it away? After sitting and thinking more I questioned the price and they said that two pieces of bacon cost $4.00, a bagel with cream cheese costs $3.85. I even tipped them. Had it two days in a row while visiting SC. Consistent and good both times. Had both bacon and sausage egg and cheese sandwiches on an everything bagel. Both were very good. Added cheese to mine. I'd say it was worth it. Both were quick and hot. read more

Great bagels, however their service is so unbelievably slow. Most busy days they run out of bagels by 10am.. how are you a bagel place and can't make more bagels to support the entire day of business. A breakfast sandwhich shouldn't take 15 minutes to make. read more

MOLD on Salted bagel. Bagels are supposed to be made fresh each day. Obviously, if there's mold, they are recycling old bagels. Mold is airborne and microscopic, so all bagels in the bag had to be thrown out. Disgusting and Dangerous. I will never buy from them again! read more

I frequent here everytime I am in the area, mainly because it is the only bagel place around in NMB and one of the only places to get lox. Their bagel sandwiches are decent, they do the job, but it's nothing special. My favorite thing to get here is a sausage egg and cheese on a toasted bagel. I would avoid lunch foods, my family and I have tried the italian hoagie and one of the paninis here and we weren't huge fans- definitely better sandwich options around. If you come after 10:30 am, the bagel selections are very limited. Prices are decent, and staff is nice although they appear to be short staffed, so thank you to the staff that are working! read more

Krave was recommended by someone we met at 44 and Kings. We went there around 11:30 am, so instead of bagels I opted for the baby blue Panini - roast beef, caramelized onions, blue cheese, and baby spinach. It was a very good, balanced sandwich. The onions gave a touch of sweetness that perfectly complemented the roast beef and there was just enough blue cheese to add great flavor. The sandwich was a tad dry but overall the flavor was incredible. The grill marks on the Panini were great, the bread was toasted golden brown and it was not greasy at all. My husband got a sesame seed bagel with egg salad. He said the bagel was delicious and on par with New Jersey bagels, which I think are the best - so a firm crust like a really good NY pretzel, and a chewy bagel with a nice bite and mouth feel but not doughie. He said the egg salad was good but not great, and the portion was "recession sized." Will definitely be going there again next time we're in South Carolina - this time I'll try an everything bagel. read more

Get you a bagel here! The bagels are crispy outside, soft inside with just the right chew to them. I got an Everything with bacon, egg, and cheese - delicious. My husband got the Lox & cream cheese with capers and onion. I haven't been able to eat Lox since I got a fishy lox bagel (not here at a different establishment). But I tried my husband's and it was fresh and delicious and tasted just like it should. My daughter's plain bagel with scallion cream cheese was good - could have been more scallions though. I want to come back and try an egg everything and a Black Russian bagel. Good variety of bagels and cream cheeses. This review may sting a little.  When my friends and I travel, we make it a point to try small businesses in the area. So we were excited to try Krave Bagel. But almost as soon as we walked in we felt uncomfortable. Our main issue was customer service. One of the men, who I assume is the owner from having read previous reviews, stood at the register, stared and pointed at us. Not exactly a warm welcome, but he must have been baking extra early this morning so no warm and fuzzies for customers. When I tried to redeem a Yelp 10% Check-In offer, we were scoffed at and told "No. We don't do that here. I have no control over that." I've never had a business refuse to honor an offer that they created. Very odd and very disappointing. On the bright side, the bagels were delicious so props to them. The coffee, however, was not good. Someone burnt that brew to be sure. All in all, we regretted not having driven a few extra miles over the border to NC to try something else. read more

We are Krave regulars! If you're looking for a quick breakfast or lunch and a local business to support, I highly recommend Krave Bagel Bistro. You can dine in (no table service) or roll through the drive through on your way to the beach. Not typically busy and even if so, the lines moves quickly. There's no frills about the interior. The service is friendly and the bagels are legit. The bagels are freshly baked (sometimes still warm!) and exhibit classic NY style characteristics - a shiny crust with soft, doughy and perfectly chewy inside. Make it a breakfast sandwich by adding egg, cheese, bacon or sausage. I find the value to be spot on, especially in NMB. You can get two loaded bagels for just under $10! We will continue to visit Krave year-round. read more

Every time I visit Myrtle Beach I make my way to Krave Bagel because their bagels and cream cheese are just that good!! It is worth the drive, if there is a line it goes fast and the people are always friendly! This morning they are doing work on an electric pole near this business and the staff were without power for an hour!! It's been 6 years since my last review of Krave, so here's an update: the salads are still made fresh, packed with plenty of greens of high quality (i.e., no iceberg or spiny romaine). They still sell out of some varieties of bagels so if you krave a specific type, get there early to ensure they have what you want. They also offer other baked goods, like muffins and coffee cake. The prices on everything is very reasonable. They've added real fruit smoothies and coffee drinks to the menu. These were doing a brisk business while I was there. I'll try them next time! My only complaint is that at 1:15pm, the dining area was unclean. Most tables hadn't been wiped and there was a lot of trash on the floor. This only takes a few minutes for staff to clean; after about 15 minutes, someone did just that. But it would be better if staff were able to keep an eye on that a little more during the course of the day so diners could have more choices of clean tables to sit at. I will definitely continue returning to Krave, and you should too. read more
