We come here because the bagels are decent and it's nearby. The bagels are ok. HOWEVER the service is pretty terrible. Key things to know: 1- on the weekend call in your order and arrive 5 mins later than what they tell you 2- you need to specify NOT toasted. This place wont blow your doors off, but their bagels are better than the grocery store. They close at 2pm on weekdays and can get really busy so consider calling in your order and going to pick it up. They also have delivery available. Plenty of seating, in house coffee is available, and they've got lots of bottled drink choices too. Supposedly the chicken salad is quite good, but I haven't tried it yet. Solid place! It's been so long since I've had a decent bagel I was extremely fired up to find out about this place. They have an extensive collection of fresh bagels, including bialys, and many other top-flight items. Very NY, to include the staff, and I actually almost got homesick for a minute for Brooklyn! The guy is a little abrupt-standard NYC personality, but a real decent guy who cares about the product and customer. They even had apple turnovers! This place is just fine. The bagels have good flavor, even though the texture isn't quite there. They're fast and polite. The coffee is weak, but I don't really expect much on restaurant coffee. There's one woman who works here that tries her hardest to be nice and friendly, but she just comes off as loud and obnoxious. My main complaint is that the tables are ALWAYS covered in crumbs. I've been going to this bagel factory for 6 years. It is hands down the best bagel place around. Certainly competes with best bagels on east coast. All the low reviews blow my mind. Bagels are made fresh everyday and not getting a hot bagel is in you for not asking to have a freshly baked bagel heated up for you, which is a bit entitled if you me. Secondly, this is a family run business, Jason, works everyday and treats everyone like family. The fact that a single entrepreneur, working everyday, had to put an entitled customer on hold while he feeds damn near half of Myrtle beach does not constitute a negative review to him or his employees.
