    Lox bagel

Freshest bagels in Myrtle Beach! Fast, friendly service, large menu I highly recommend!

Where's the cheese? $4 bucks for this?

Pricey for what you get. The bagel was fine, but the cream cheese was basically imaginary--more of a rumor than a spread. For a place called Big Apple Bagels, I expected a lot more commitment to cream cheese. Mind you I ordered the veggie cream cheese and not a spec of veggies to be seen.

This was our first and now last visit to this establishment. $8.50 is to much for a sandwich with barely anything on it. Bagels were better than other MB places. Nothing beats the bagels back home in NJ.

BEC on Toasted Onion Bagel. Tastes more like a roll than a bagel.

I don't get the hype. This is absolutely nothing like a NY bagel. If you call your shop Big Apple Bagels, it should be somewhat close to a New York bagel. Sorry but this place wasn't even close. The bagel was very bread like and definitely didn't have that good crisp bite and the inside wasn't dense. It was closer to a roll with a hole in the middle. I was actually pretty excited to try this place and when we walked in, it looked like it might be really good. There were a nice variety of muffins and the bagels. It was a busy little place with what seemed to be a good customer base. The service was good and the people working were all very friendly. I was just disappointed with the bagels.

Some of the best bagels in SurfSide. Made fresh daily. They have jalapeños bagels which is a huge plus in my book. To make the deal even sweeter - they had jalapeño salsa cream cheese. Oh My Gosh! Outstanding! It was a nice local bagel shoppe l! Please give them a try.

Closest thing to bagels back home (New York). Absolutely delicious and worth the drive from PI.

Very good bagels; not the best I've ever had but probably the best in Myrtle Beach. Would definitely get bagels here again when in the area.

Simply the best around. Always consistent. Sometimes there's a line but there's a reason for that!

Decent bagels but charging for a cup of tap water? Seriously? It isn't like the run down strip mall ambience merits a premium.

Bagels here are very good. I would say traditional to what you would find up in New York.

They have some great breakfast options on their menu, unfortunately for me several of the items I was interested in were not available on the day I visited for breakfast. Since the menu is not extensive that left me with limited options for my meal. I did choose, and enjoyed the Classic Eggs and Toast, I substituted the toast for a biscuit. It was very good, especially the bacon, but not what my belly had intended for my meal. Rather the write a review complaining about the lack availability for several breakfast items on this day, I stopped by the counter on my way out and spoke to a team member. They explained that there was a recent change in ownership and they were working through adjusting the orders, etc. with the new ownership. They were polite, helpful and gracious about the whole thing and offered a coupon for breakfast on a return visit. First class customer service, cozy environment and great breakfast options and baked goods are a great reason to visit Milk & Honey Coffee Cafe.

They were out of most of their bagels by the time we got there. We ordered: The Ricky Bobby - was very good, probably the best thing we had. Was supposed to come on a bagel, but my friend had to get it on sourdough instead. It was good regardless. Austin's special - This was pretty much just eggs on a bagel. Nothing special, but not bad. It might've been better but it was nerfed by the fact that that I had to have it on a wheat bagel and that I asked for no sausage. The sauce had very little flavor, I had to add my own salt, ketchup, and hot sauce. Probably would have needed more acid even if I got it without the modifications. Spinach and feta croissant - Not great. The croissant was not light or fluffy and the filling lacked flavor. Not much feta despite the name. Raspberry and cream danish and cinnamon roll- We could have gotten something similar at Costco or a grocery store bakery. My friends got coffee which they said was very good, some of the best they've had in the area. I can see this place being good, but you have to come early or on an off day to have access to the full menu and avoid long wait times. Otherwise you will have a middling experience. It was clear the kitchen was struggling to keep up.

Omega pancake house is right around the corner from our condo and they didn't look super busy yet. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and seated at a 4 top for a party of 2. When our waitress Theresa came to take our drink order, we were also already ready to place our meal order. We ordered a coffee, 2 freshly squeezed orange juice, Blueberry ricotta waffle with bacon, and a side of scrambled eggs and cheese. We also ordered sweet potato pancakes, eggs over medium, and hash brown. The waffle was delicious with fresh blueberries and blueberry syrup. My mom LOVED her sweet potato pancakes with homemade cinnamon butter. The bad... some of the food was obviously precooked early in the morning. I understand that this is a vacation destination so they want to get people in and out fast and remaking popular sides makes it more efficient to turn tables but I'm very disappointed. Almost $7 for a side of bacon that was absolutely inedible. It was as chewy as a dog treat. The scrambled eggs also taste like a hotel continental breakfast... premade and my cheese was just sprinkled on top. The eggs weren't even hot enough to melt the cheese like they have been sitting prior to turning them into scrambled eggs and cheese. The hash brown again, tasted like it was precooked early that morning and just slapped on the plate when they received our ticket. The only thing hot and fresh were the pancakes and waffle. Everything else was a disappointment. We ordered a Greek burrito to go and my boyfriend said it tasted alright. Our server was lovely but we probably won't be back if we are ever in the mood for breakfast again. Hopefully we can find somewhere that provides made to order during the rest of our trip. Also the orange juice is NOT fresh squeezed and they overcharge you. Highway Robbery and dishonest. I'm editing my review after having the best experience at Golden Egg where the food is fresh and the menu is true to what you receive!
