This place is a cool little shop a few doors down from a great bagel shop and Kroger. Their donuts are pretty good and they have a kiosk you order from when you walk in. Orders come out pretty quickly and the staff is kind. My only reason for 4 not 5 stars is they dip the donuts into the frosting when they are extremely hot and a lot of it runs off the donut into the box. I would definitely give then a try if you are in the area.

This is my third Duck Donut location I've visited and every single time it's amazing. Order online - do not show up and expect quick donuts during the busy season. Order online and then go pick up. They will still be hot. The Blueberry Streusel and French Toast are my favorites. We usually go with the Breakfast Dozen and snack on them all day long! We always go twice when we are near a Duck Donuts, as we don't have them on the west coast!

I recently moved to the North Myrtle Beach area and was introduced to the Duck Donuts. Duck Donuts are freshly made on the stop, when you order, and hot when you pick them up. Duck Donuts have many flavors, toppings, and they cater to your taste. I think I am 'in love' with the coffee cake donut.... yummy!

woweee! loved this place! friendly staff and clean establishment, & fast service. It was fun watching the whole process unfold before our eyes. but yer here for the deets on the food... we tried blueberry pancake, chocolate explosion, coconut island bliss, and peanut butter and jelly. We are pleasantly surprised with how insanely flavorful these were. just WOW! my partner's only negative, was that he is a raised donut guy, and they don't do raised, however, he loved them nonetheless!

Made fresh to order! You watch the donut artist make your order. So many yummy choices to top your donuts. Highly recommend the "Bacon in the Sun"! We cut ours into quarters and made a sampler plate. Just had to try them all. It was very busy, 30 minute wait to get your finished order. Definitely, worth the wait.

Understaffed and if they worked any slower you could watch yourself age right before your eyes. They pulled donuts right out of fryer steaming hot and proceeded to add toppings which ran off the donuts right to the bottom of the box. We ended up with $26 of nothing but a soggy mess. Nowhere as good as the original store in the outer banks, what a shame.

This was my first experience at duck donuts and I will be back! We got half a dozen donuts and two medium frozen coffees and tipped the employees all for $30. I feel that's reasonable in today's world and granted the location we are in. Peanut butter donut: 5/10 not bad tasted very nutty and not so much like PB. French toast donut (my favorite): 10/10 so freakin good, tasted like it was straight from a reassuring making homemade French toast (very sweet). Beach ball: 8/10 very sweet and a basic flavor combo but cute decorations Raspberry fluff: 9/10 not too sweet Caramel frozen coffee: 6/10 not bad at first Plain frozen coffee: 5/10 not great. Definitely stuck to the donuts! It was nice to watch them freshly make and decorate the donuts!

We love coming to this location for our spontaneous cheat days after the gym. It is small but they make good use of the space with their merchandise hanging on these sides and the pickup counter in front of some counter seats in the front. Every time we've visited the staff has always been very chill and friendly. The donuts themselves are the ultimate splurge. You see the whole process right in front of you from the frying of the fresh donuts to the sweet toppings being arranged on top. They also come up with fun seasonal flavors that don't disappoint. Some of our favorites are the Flip Flop, the Pumpkin Roll, and Cookies and Cream. It's a totally different experience to buying donuts at say Dunkin Donuts or your local food markets bakery. The dripping icing when you take out your fresh treat from your box of serendipity just adds to the made to order donuts. If you are having donut cravings I highly recommend making a stop to this Duck Donuts! Keep in mind they usually close at 5 on the weekdays and 7pm Saturdays.

A must when on vacation! I had never actually been in a duck donuts before, even though I'd had their donuts before. My husband had never had a donut or been in one either. When we walked in, we were shocked at the reality of what duck donuts is! Every order is made fresh, right down to the actual donut itself and the toppings. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and so accommodating. My son has a peanut allergy, and the stature they went above, and beyond to make a special box at the end of our order with our peanut items (see photo). I highly recommend!

Every time I'm in vacation, I always have to seek out what specialty donut shops are in the area. So I came here. They had a wide selection of donuts to pick from. The coffee was good too. It just so happens to be National Donut day and I got a free cinnamon sugar donut with my order. They were super busy and forgot to make our drinks. But it was understandable. They have dozens of varieties to choose from and make the donuts right in front of you. Which is good in a sense that you know the donuts haven't been sitting there all day.

These donuts were delicious! I also had a breakfast sandwich, which is was good as well. It was fun to pick out your own donuts and watch them be made right in front of you! Would highly recommend!

    We loved them

These are great donuts-works of art. They hand decorate them after you order them. It was a shame to eat them.

Even though as an adult I usually stay in Myrtle Beach , I still make a trip to Cherry Grove to walk the pier , walk the beach , and of course stop in at Boulineau's IGA. I make a point to come the day they do Chicken Bog in the Cafe , which I think is Friday. It is so good and so is the Fried Chicken. The Cafe has such a great selection , great price , clean dining areas , great service , and is very popular with tourists and locals. I stayed at the Golden Mile / Cabana Beach the whole month of February and came here twice. The grocery store has pretty much everything you need for vacation. Food , bathroom items , cleaners , fresh produce , fresh meats , grilling supplies , fishing supplies , beach items , you name it ! Upstairs they have a shop with all kinds of beach items like shirts , decorations , swimwear , hats , wind chimes , games , coffee cups , and on and on. The prices are fair for North Myrtle Beach / Myrtle Beach. Of course you have to go up to the observation area that looks like a lighthouse and look at the ocean and the surrounding area , it's free. So many memories for me here in Cherry Grove. One of my favorite places in the world and I lived in Germany for 4 years in the Army and traveled Europe in the 80's. It will always be in my heart.

This Thursday I was heading up with the wife to buy some fish and we decided to go for it. Of course there was zero parking with a parade of cars in the parking lot waiting to pick up food, when my wife noticed a pick up truck right in front of the place about to exit. She sped right next to the spot and jumped in before anyone realized it. We're in...or so I thought. We strolled up and there were about 35 people sitting on benches and rocking chairs under a tent right in front of the place all waiting to get in. I figured this is not going to be easy. I went up to the hostess station and asked how long for a table for two and she said 35 minutes or so. I looked at my wife and gave her my name. I had to find out what all the hub bub was about. In about 30 minutes they shouted my name and I sprinted to the front door...I wasn't about to lose my table. In we went and we're shown a nice size table in the middle of the place. It kinda reminded me of a beachy mom and pop diner. The friendly waitress came to the table right away, gave us our menus, showed us the specials board and took a drink order. The menu was simple but had some choices on it. While we were thinking, she came back with our drinks and we quickly ordered an appetizer. In this case, onion rings. A few minutes later my wife settled on a crab cake app and a salad which she asked to be combined. I went for the soup of the day(NE clam chowder) and one of the specials...pork chops(I took my grilled not fried) with 3 sides, Lima beans, okra & tomatoes stewed and green beans. The meal came with a choice of cornbread or roll. I opted for the cornbread. In a flash, the onion rings came out followed by the soup. Now I do love me some onion rings and these were fantastic. Crispy, flavorful and not stringy. The soup was home made. Creamy with bits of clam and chunks of potato. No salt or pepper was needed as it came out steaming hot and perfect. It was a meal in itself and I ended up taking 3/4 home with me(something rarely do). After a few minutes, the main course came out. My wife dug into a very large homemade crab cake, chock full of crab meat and very flavorful. She loved it. The salad was fresh and crisp. My pork chops came out and the size of the plate shocked me. Now, I almost never talk about price but my plate was $12.49 and I got two large perfectly prepared, juicy pork chops with a healthy helping of the best okra and stewed tomatoes I ever had plus absolutely delicious green beans and tasty lima beans. What a deal! The only thing that wasn't above average was the corn bread which was a tad dry and plain. Most of the regulars opted for the home made roll(and the fried chicken which was being served at every table!). I was stuffed and had trouble finishing my plate. My wife who said she was full, managed to save enough room for dessert. Now everyone was eating the homemade peach cobbler so I suggested that. My wife never had it before and was thinking about the Oreo pie, but I persuaded her and she was glad I did. Instead of the usual whip cream she wanted vanilla ice cream with it and it was a fantastic combo. The cobbler came out piping hot and crumbly with sweet chunks of peaches that paired well with the cold vanilla ice cream. She attacked it so fast that I couldn't get a picture. I broke my own rules and dipped in for a few spoonfuls and I'm glad I did. It was heavenly. The bill came and I couldn't believe how reasonable it was. Now I know why you can't get into the joint. We paid our bill and gave the super friendly waitress a nice tip and were on our way. We will absolutely be back and will try to time it a bit better so we can find parking...or we'll take an Uber...it was that good.
