Incredibly popular spot, there was a 45 minute wait at 11:30AM, so definitely recommend getting on their online waitlist before arriving! The atmosphere is very pleasant. Food ranges from $16 - $23. I will say the food is good, but I am not sure it warrants the higher price. Their strong suit seems to be the sweets more than the savory. The 'Cheezo Rizzo' was bland, but cooked well. The Blueberry Riccota Waffle was good, the blueberry sauce it came with was very strong. The hush puppies were delicious, but again the blueberry sauce was too strong. Unfortunately, we did not have a pleasant experience with our server, Kristina. When she took our drink order, we could tell she wanted us to hurry up, which I can understand because they were very busy! However, theres an elegant way to not make customers feel rushed while moving things along. That alone was fine, but my partner ordered a coffee, and I opted to just get water because I knew she didn't want to wait for me to choose a drink. After she left, we saw the coffee was $7, and we just didn't want to pay that. When she came around again to take our food order, my partner expressed his uncertainty about the drink and asked if it would be okay to remove it from our order since we hadn't received it yet. She goes, "It was already made, but ok." With a really unfriendly tone and expression, it just made us feel guilty and judged. We had no idea the drink was already made, and we would have told her sooner, but she didnt come back sooner. If the drink was already made, why didn't she bring it? Not to mention, we really only ordered the drink because we felt rushed. It just really soured our mood and made us feel bad for something so insignificant especially after how unfriendly she had already been. She did seem to pick her energy back up towards the end of our visit, but the experience had already been tainted. Overall, good place, good food. Great food as always! The host staff were not friendly at all. My wife went in and was just stared at, so she let them know we joined the wait list online and needed to check in and the hostess just said "what?" and stared some more so she repeated it and they said okay we'll text you. Almost $8 for a latte is borderline insane. The peach mimosa tasted more like orange than peach. Monte cristo had way too much batter and on thin bread. Restaurant staff gathered by the bathroom couldn't even get thru without asking them to move.. Service was great, she was very friendly. Came on a Monday morning for breakfast around 9:15. We were seated immediately with a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We chose outdoor seating and there was a slight chill, but the restaurant has heaters in the ceiling that were going so it was very comfortable. Apparently alcohol sales don't start until 10:00 so that is something to note if you'd like a good breakfast cocktail, which they have plenty of. This has to be one of my top 2 or 3 breakfast spots on the Grand Strand. The menu has great variety with creative spins on classic breakfast dishes. But they also have creative breakfast cocktails as well. Every year I have breakfast here at least twice and the service never disappoints. Always there to refill your drinks, attentive to every need and prompt with it. The outdoor seating makes you feel like you're in an old fashioned beach town with the architecture of the facade and decking. Overall a great experience every time. read more

First the restaurant is very nice looking with high ceilings and, both in and outside seating. The seating consisted of bar, table and booths. Our waitress was very nice. We started with the blueberry, hushpuppies which was served warm with honey butter & blueberry compote for dipping. The butter and blueberry compote were good, but the hushpuppies themselves were bland. I ordered the Banana Foster and Walnuts French toast, which was 2 Slices of Challah french toast topped with caramelized banana in rum sauce. It was served with side of warm syrup. If you like sweet, this is a dish for you. The wife ordered the special pumpkin Waffle which had multiple issues. First, her dish did not come out until 10 minutes after my dish arrived. The waitress explained that her dish takes longer to prep. OK we get that, but service 101, states that if one dish is going to take longer to prep, wait to fire up the other dishes so everything comes out at the same time. It sucks to be eating in front of your dinner companion, but if you don't your food gets cold. Also they put what I could only describe as burnt Nutella as it was very bitter and ruined the top pancake. This was a shame as the bottom pancake without this nasty sauce was excellent. Last we both ordered bacon, which was served under cooked. I take responsibility a bit as I know I should always order my bacon crispy. I'm so incredibly happy to have tried Blueberry's Grill, I was visiting and heard excellent reviews of this restaurant so I had to try it myself. I used the yelp waitlist since this is a popular spot and seats get filled up quickly. They have a good variety of food options so it was difficult to pick exactly what I wanted since everything sounded so good. I got the Breakfast of champions and my boyfriend got the Steak Chimi and Eggs. Everything came out so fast and everything was amazing. When I tell you I wanted to come back the next day due to the service and the food. I wish this place was in my city. I can't wait to come back. read more

We waited about 1.5 hours to be seated. We weren't told the wait time and putting in our names was extremely unorganized. There were 3 people busting the line but it was being done inefficiently. The food was just fine. The star was the bananas fosters French toast and that was delicious. The cinnamon French toast tasted like freezer burn and came out cold so it was left uneaten. I did tell the server and she mentioned telling the manager but no manager came out to speak to us. The rest of the food was decent but when you compare it to the 1.5 hour waited it's not worth the wait. It took about 15 mins to get our check once we asked for it and another server ended up giving us our check. My friend ordered the blueberry hushpuppies, and they were out of this world -- perfectly golden on the outside, soft and sweet inside, with whole blueberries, served with a delicious butter and blueberry compote that took them to the next level. Our table tried the blueberry pancakes, the French toast, and a short stack. The key here is to order anything blueberry. The short stacks were light, fluffy, and packed with flavor. You can really taste the difference in freshness and quality. The blueberry pancakes had whole berries inside. Fresh and not too sweet. I was impressed. The French toast was very sweet. Almost too much for my liking because of the whipping on top, but it may be someone else's favorite. We decided to replace with eggs and sausage instead. Sausage and eggs - amazing. Four of us enjoyed Brunch here the day before Easter. We were served by Irina ( we think that is correct) She did an excellent job taking care of us and she answered all of our questions. She was very engaging, courteous, and friendly. We tried a few different sandwiches and found them all excellent. The restaurant although a bit pricey for that time of day provided overly large portions, which some people prefer.
