We waited about 1.5 hours to be seated. We weren't told the wait time and putting in our names was extremely unorganized. There were 3 people busting the line but it was being done inefficiently. The food was just fine. The star was the bananas fosters French toast and that was delicious. The cinnamon French toast tasted like freezer burn and came out cold so it was left uneaten. I did tell the server and she mentioned telling the manager but no manager came out to speak to us. The rest of the food was decent but when you compare it to the 1.5 hour waited it's not worth the wait. It took about 15 mins to get our check once we asked for it and another server ended up giving us our check. We did see a discount for some of the cinnamon French toast so I guess that was nice. read more

I'm so incredibly happy to have tried Blueberry's Grill, I was visiting and heard excellent reviews of this restaurant so I had to try it myself. I used the yelp waitlist since this is a popular spot and seats get filled up quickly. They have a good variety of food options so it was difficult to pick exactly what I wanted since everything sounded so good. I got the Breakfast of champions and my boyfriend got the Steak Chimi and Eggs. Everything came out so fast and everything was amazing. When I tell you I wanted to come back the next day due to the service and the food. I wish this place was in my city. I can't wait to come back. read more

Stopped in for breakfast. The place wasn't crowded but it was early. They have a private parking lot. I had the scrambler with kielbasa onions and a side of bacon which was very good. The OJ was fresh squeezed I think or just very sweet. The place looks pretty new. Another guy had the crab cake Benedict which was also very good. I was so skeptical of this restaurant because (as rhe name suggests) everything is Blueberry. Im not the biggest fan of Blueberry but man, this spot blew me out the water. Everything was incredible!! First the restaurant is very nice looking with high ceilings and, both in and outside seating. The seating consisted of bar, table and booths. Our waitress was very nice. We started with the blueberry, hushpuppies which was served warm with honey butter & blueberry compote for dipping. The butter and blueberry compote were good, but the hushpuppies themselves were bland. I ordered the Banana Foster and Walnuts French toast, which was 2 Slices of Challah french toast topped with caramelized banana in rum sauce. It was served with side of warm syrup. If you like sweet, this is a dish for you. The wife ordered the special pumpkin Waffle which had multiple issues. First, her dish did not come out until 10 minutes after my dish arrived. The waitress explained that her dish takes longer to prep. OK we get that, but service 101, states that if one dish is going to take longer to prep, wait to fire up the other dishes so everything comes out at the same time. It sucks to be eating in front of your dinner companion, but if you don't your food gets cold. Also they put what I could only describe as burnt Nutella as it was very bitter and ruined the top pancake. This was a shame as the bottom pancake without this nasty sauce was excellent. Last we both ordered bacon, which was served under cooked. I take responsibility a bit as I know I should always order my bacon crispy. With all the great reviews, we really wanted to love this place, but we did not. read more

Delicious food and great service! We selected two items and shared them. The Melted Scrambler comes with the bacon on the side and an English muffin and the Southern Scrambler comes with everything mixed together and toast. The toast and English muffin could have been a little more toasted for us but we will know next time to request that. I suggest you get on the wait-list because the line can be very long. I'm glad I was at the restsursnt before my check-in time because there was a glitch with the wait-list app cancelling my reservation but they put me right back on. The only thing I was a little disappointed about is they didn't do a birthday song or treat for my sister and we were celebrating her birthday. All in all, the food and service were on point and we can't wait to go back and try two other dishes we were torn between choosing. read more

My wife and I have eaten at blueberries Grill at least 20 times. On its worst day it is a 4/5 and only because they're so busy the server was slow to refill drinks. Ambiance is wonderful; if you have to wait there's a lot of nice stores nearby to visit while you wait at Barefoot Landing. Food wise; you can't go wrong with the Banana Fosters French Toast and a total hidden gem are the skillets. I get one every time unless I have a hankering for the French Toast. There's no bad food here. From my experience having been to MB probably 15+ times, this is the best restaurant here. If I can only recommend one place to someone coming here, this is it. If you have to wait on a table you can adventure into the little shops around the place to kill time. A little pricey, but near the same as all around the location. My friend ordered the blueberry hushpuppies, and they were out of this world -- perfectly golden on the outside, soft and sweet inside, with whole blueberries, served with a delicious butter and blueberry compote that took them to the next level. Our table tried the blueberry pancakes, the French toast, and a short stack. The key here is to order anything blueberry. The short stacks were light, fluffy, and packed with flavor. You can really taste the difference in freshness and quality. The blueberry pancakes had whole berries inside. Fresh and not too sweet. I was impressed. The French toast was very sweet. Almost too much for my liking because of the whipping on top, but it may be someone else's favorite. We decided to replace with eggs and sausage instead. Sausage and eggs - amazing. We forgot to make a reservation, but the wait went quickly after we got on the list. I swear the food came out almost immediately after placing our orders! We were seated outside, with plenty of shade (and no bugs) and were able to enjoy it! The food was delicious, as were the drinks. I would definitely go back for brunch and highly recommend. Four of us enjoyed Brunch here the day before Easter. We were served by Irina ( we think that is correct) She did an excellent job taking care of us and she answered all of our questions. She was very engaging, courteous, and friendly. We tried a few different sandwiches and found them all excellent. The restaurant although a bit pricey for that time of day provided overly large portions, which some people prefer. Stopped i. here around noon today, after a visit to purpleologist. It was packed! Sat at the counter and got service pretty quickly. Decided on the crab cake Benedict. It was tasty and very filling it comes with a fried green tomato as well. Potatoes were cooked perfectly and delish! The place is open and airy. How this place has 4.4 stars is mind boggling. The food itself deserves 3 stars but I bumped it down to 2 stars because the wait was ridiculous at about 1.5 hours on a Wednesday morning for average food. The service was also terrible. We waited forever just to get the check. As for the food, The cinnamon roll French toast tasted like it had freezer burn. The chorizo Benedict was just fine. My party of 5 probably waited an additional 20 mins after that to be seated. Our hostess Kari was super sweet and answered all questions / concerns patiently. We did order the blueberry hush puppies (never received them) but also was not on our check later on. Buttermilk pancakes, blueberry pancakes, Cinnamon roll French toast just to name a few. The pancakes are big and pretty thick if dining with children they would be happy with a pancake each. My son ordered them (he's 10) and took half home. The blueberry syrup tastes like blueberry jam (if that makes sense) and if you prefer maple syrup that is a up charge as they bring it to you in a little bottle. (Wasn't too happy about that). Today was our final day in Myrtle Beach this summer, and we were determined to find a delicious breakfast. We traveled across the street from our resort into Barefoot Landing, where we decided to rekindle an old flame at the Blueberry's Grill. The BBG is a site to see. A wide, robust outer terrace, overseeing a small pond, and connected to land by way of a draw bridge. Inside, you'll discover the most beautiful decor and ceilings so high you feel like you're in a mansion. You really feel like royalty at the BBG. The greeters are kind and quick to assist. The waiters are educated about the menu, quick to service customers, and worthy of mighty tips. I got a water, freshly squeezed OJ, and a coffee to start. The water was ice cold and fresh, as if collected from the glacier river of North Myrtle. The OJ was so freshly squeezed that I could taste the vitamins and nutrients as they tickled my unworthy taste buds. The coffee. Oh the coffee. The guava. The Joe. The good stuff. Grandma Morgie's sweet bean morning drink. Hot smoke rose from the cup as I tilted it toward my lips. The sweet, heavenly smell sent my nostrils into a tizzy, and the taste sent signals through my body and scratched my brain in all the right places. I had three cups. For breakfast, I chose the blueberry pancakes. I mean, how do you pass on blueberry pancakes at the BBG. When they arrived at the table, my jaw dropped and my eyes bulged out of head. Oh the beauty. Oh, the beauty. The beauty. Beauty. There on my plate sat three large, fluffy pancakes, with just enough crisp on the outside edges to add a bit of chomp chomp goodness. On top of the pancake mountain was a river of blueberry sauce, and at least ten shiny blueberry gems. And at the peak of mountain was the white butter boulder. They provided more blueberry sauce in a cup on the side, and like the silly little boy I am, I dumped the rest on top and watched as it flowed over the pancake mountain like a tsunami of blueberry goodness. Oh sweet baby blueberry it was delicious. The pancakes so soft and fluffy and delicious. The blueberry sauce and blueberry were so fresh and wonderful. What a dream. I had to pinch myself 67 times to make sure that it wasn't a dream. No. This was no dream. It was real life. So delicious. I said it once , and I'll say it again. So we were on our way to Blueberry Grill on the south side- and ran into this one on the north side. We didn't know they had 2 locations, but we opted for this one since it was closer. Service: Great, we had a wonderful server who was attentive and helpful (she just forgot to give us silverware, so our food arrived but we didn't have any utensils). The food was okay, the biscuit was soft & moist but the gravy taste like it came out of a can, gloopy texture, barely ant bits of sausage which lacked flavor & seasoning. It's a really nice place though, we may try it again for lunch, we'll see. read more
