Horrible customer service. After standing and waiting for quite awhile to be acknowledged we finally caught someone's attention. At least two people working saw but had ignored us. We asked if we could purchase some donuts. Clerk who was cleaning a drink machine said "can't you see that my hands are full and I'm busy right now...you're going to have to wait." This Krispy Kreme has gone downhill majorly. We have been coming here for the past 10+ years on vacation, and each year gets worse. This year, just like every year, we ordered one dozen of original glazed and another dozen of chocolate glazed. The original glazed were completely normal, they were delicious. But the chocolate glazed is a completely different story, those donuts had to be a week old. They were hard as a rock and very spongy, not to mention, it was $40 for two dozen. Been here a couple, two, tree times now and dang...this here location gets slammed. Tons of fandamilies with the whole kit and kabootle in tow...TONS of tourists. Drive through gets super slow at times with long lines and so everyone heads inside to order and so yeah there are rug rats running around, yappin', cryin', and being all out indecisive as to which of the many donuts they should choose. I really like Krispy Kreme donuts, but the tourists at this location are a major, major downer at times. Add on top of that, the always dangerous golf cart drivers that think they have the right of way everywhere the go. These dang golf carts are the bane of North Myrtle. Dude...pass a law...they're a menace. Anywho, try the sour creme cake donut. It's a keeper. Post Script: there's a decent chance you'll get a hot KK glazed at this location, fresh off the line. They sell them A LOTTA donuts here so there's a rapid glazed donut turnover. read more

North Myrtle Beach has the cutest Krispy kreme shop. We visited on national doughnut day where each person received a free donut. The staff were friendly and fast. They also had hats for the kids to wear and enjoy. Huge selection of donuts, even a small selection of summer related flavors. My kids enjoyed watching that donuts be made while traveling down the conveyor belt to get iced and then popped in a box for customers to purchase on hand. If you are at all worried about COVID 19 and only visit places that at least follow the minimum guidelines do NOT stop here. I walked out last night after seeing not one guideline being followed. This included no masks for frontline and back of the house employees, no social distancing, no hand sanitizer, no barriers at the counter and no limited occupancy inside the lobby. The county has recently been identified as a hotspot. Doughnuts aren't worth it. So attached is the company response I received 25 days later. I feel so much better knowing they take my complaint so seriously that the response makes it unclear if they even read it. This was my first Yelp review. Bad service is one thing. But to be charged an additional $1.50 because you ordered 6 regular and 6 chocolate (or any other combination) is a complete rip off.
