Definitely a Winner & Some of the Best Ice Cream Around!! Always on the lookout for new ice cream spots to try and this place delivers! The variety of flavors is outstanding, each one just as delicious as the last and the quality is always top-notch. Not to mention, the prices were surprisingly reasonable. We tried the Butter Pecan, Chocolate and Cotton Candy scoops. The flavors were outstanding and on point. Each one was distinct and held its own. You can certainly tell they put quality to the front of the line. Speaking of lines....we were lucky to experience this place with no wait at all but as soon as we were leaving....a line was beginning to form down the block! This certainly speaks volumes to the popularity and delicious ice cream goodness factor of this spot. This place gets two thumbs up in my book and I highly recommend.... when in the North Myrtle Beach area! read more

If you're in North Myrtle Beach, a stop at Melt is an absolute must! From the moment you walk up and smell the fresh waffle cones being made, you know you're in for something special. The ice cream is incredibly creamy, packed with flavor, and it's obvious that a lot of care goes into making it fresh every day. The flavor selection is amazing, with everything from unique creations to classic favorites. Every scoop we've tried has been outstanding, and the portions are generous. Even when there's a line, the staff keeps things moving while remaining friendly and welcoming. read more

Very yummy ice cream for a decent price. They make their own ice cream! It's so creamy and flavorful. We shared 3 scoops of coconut, moose tracks, butter brownie and all were delicious! Although my favorite was the coconut, it had real flakes of coconut and it seemed to be extra creamy. read more

Found free street parking on a busy summer day close by and surprisingly were the only ones there at the time. The staff were pleasant and steered my kids away from the largest size which I appreciated! We tried the strawberry cheesecake, dark chocolate raspberry truffle, lemon blueberry and a few other flavors I can't remember. All delicious. Would absolutely recommend! read more

There are many ice cream places in North Myrtle Beach , however MELT is worth the stop. It has excellent home made ice cream and they are readily willing to provide samples. There were six of us and we had a number of samples. We all loved our choices and the samples!!! The staff, which included the owner, were especially friendly and accommodating. Thank you for our delicious mid-afternoon treat! read more

Every time we go to Myrtle Beach, our kids have to go to Melt. Its a small shop with an amazing choice of ice cream flavors and ice cream desserts. Our granddaughters chose flavors of play dough and oreo cookies, the adults got cappuccino crunch. The place is always packed with people waiting in line..Service always friendly in this little bright colored shop. A great name for all things ice cream. read more

Omg...best ice cream i have ever had! I tried a waffle cone with dark chocolate raspberry and a scoop of chocolate peanut butter. It was amazing!. When we arrived it was not too busy but the line got longer as the night went on. Highly recommend this place even though there are tons of options in the area, this one was hands down the best. read more

Small little shop with a variety of flavors. We leaned towards the homemade options (indicated with *). We were able to get samples and decided on blueberry lemon, toasted coconut, and Keylime. There were real ingredients in each (blueberries, coconut, pie crust). Served with a little waffle cone. The blueberry lemon was our favorite. Highly recommend. We went early in the day but every night we went by they had a line. read more

Went here with two other couples. Before a night at a local piano bar. Pizza was actually pretty good and service was fine. Very industrial looking inside; not very comfortable. Thought it was a bit overpriced, but it is in a tourist area. If you want specialized pizzas, you may want to look here. read more

Some of the best ice cream I've ever had! They have so many flavors to choose from, ranging from classics to more interesting flavors. I got a scoop of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and a scoop of dark chocolate raspberry truffle in a waffle cone. Amazing! So rich and flavorful. And they make their waffle cones in house which is always a plus. Highly recommend this spot. The store itself is small but you can sit outside. read more

We came here while on vacation. What a cute spot! Super small and can barely fit 4 people in the shop. But tons of different homemade flavors. I got the honey lavender and it was amazing! I love lavender ice cream and this one definitely hit the spot! We'll definitely be back when we're in the area. read more

Found Melt through local recommendations. And of course yelp echoes their feedback. Cutest little shop with plenty of seating outside. There is a lot right behind where you can park or if you're able to grab street parking go for it. Nestled right next to the beach. It's great for those looking to cool down after a hot day. The scoops are absolutely huge and the prices are very reasonable. Staff is super sweet and patient as we navigated all the different options. I would say this ice cream is up there with some of the best I have had and they do have some really delicious and unique flavors. read more

We visited Melt Ice Cream Shop twice during our trip to Myrtle Beach -- and it was worth every bite! The sort of hidden spot is has a fun, laid-back vibe that makes you want to hang out and enjoy your treat. There is public beach parking across the street and you can easily walk on the sand with your treat. During summer hours there may be a line, but it moves very quickly and it is worth the wait! Between the two visits, we tried the Peanut Butter Cup, Lavender Honey, Double Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, and French Silk -- and every single flavor was incredible. The ice cream is rich, creamy, HAND MADE, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The Lavender Honey was especially unique and refreshing. You can tell it is made with real lavender. The Peanut Butter Cup of course has huge chocolate peanut cups added in the ice cream. Waffle cones are also made in house and you can smell them as soon as you walk in. You are missing out if you don't some waffle to your order. The staff was super friendly and happy to offer samples to help us decide. I LOVE the graphic shirts on the walls that say "it's not summer until you MELT" You can tell they care about both the product and the customer experience. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Thank you! read more

Love Melt! My mother-in-law introduced us to Melt and we keep coming back. They have a lot of original flavors, plus the all time favorites. I have tried several of their original flavors, but my all time favorite is Honey Lavender in a waffle cone. It does make a delicious milkshake too. My husband's favorite is the chocolate peanut butter. The staff are always nice and gracious with the taste samples. read more

The ice cream is great! Best in the area for sure. We tried both regular dairy flavors and non dairy flavors. Both were incredible. Prices are super reasonable especially for the size scoops. Milkshakes were a bit more expensive but still way cheaper than other places. Store was clean and staff were friendly. There is usually a line down the block in the summer, so was great to not have to wait too long in the wintertime. Even in the winter though, parking can be tough, so plan to walk a little ways. Worth the walk/wait though. read more

Their ice cream is DELICIOUS!! Service was fast as they had multiple people working to ensure everyone was taken care of. Building is a little small so if there is a rush the line might be out the door. Luckily when we went there was only 1 other couple at the time. The dark chocolate raspberry and the double stuff oreo were our flavors of the night and let me just say I dream about the dark chocolate raspberry ice cream. read more

In town for a wedding. Needed a treat at 9:30 pm. Found melt and loved it so much. We give it a 5 out of 5. When we entered there were locals that were there and said this is where they always go. They also told us the flavors with the * are homemade and very highly recommended. We listened and were very much thankful we had some local guidance. I say if locals love it, probably gonna be great. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great scoop of Ice cream. read more

This is a MUST DO place when coming to NMB. The selection of flavors is great, there is always new ones to try, and the staff are fantastic. If you are not sure what a flavor tastes like they are happy to give you a try. If there is a line, don't fret, it moves right along. Small little place right near Main St and N. Ocean Blvd across from the beach. We feel that based on some of the other ice cream places around (not going to mention names) it has to be the most reasonably priced for the amount of ice cream you get, and did we say they taste GREAT. Oh and if they have the Ube flavor....get it, or at least try a taste...the best interesting flavor they serve IMO. Highly recommend this place. read more

Not a single complaint to be said about this place besides how busy they get, but the line moves decently quick so not to much to worry about. other than that the ice cream is very good and at a really good price and the service is what you'd expect from a really busy ice cream place on Main Street, the employees are nice but don't really say a whole lot. Overall 5 stars would very much recommend for family's. read more

This place was quite the treat it is very pleasant And delicious the ice cream is AMAZING but I'm not a huge fan of the milk shakes but I still drank it all and the customer service was fabulous super nice workers they should get a raise in the establishment it looked and fit the part of an ice cream shop. It was amazing and the flavor board was also great thank you melt for your time good day. read more

One would be a fool to be in this area of North Myrtle Beach and not try melt. The best ice cream I have ever have and I've had a lot of it. It's so sweet and rich and creamy and so good. They have mint Oreo milkshakes and it's every bit as tasty as it sounds. The line during dinner time in summer tourist season is the only thing that isn't sweet about this place, but it does move really fast and they are very efficient. If you notice a construction site next-door, it is a redevelopment of the property where Duffy Street seafood shack used to be and melt will be getting a bigger location within that redevelopment so maybe the line won't be as huge. It's worth every bit of that weight and more. Stand next to McMillan, look at real estate listings, enjoy the Seaside air, and I would wager you would have your ice cream within 15 minutes of getting in line. read more

Wow, wow, wow! This is hands down the best ice cream I've ever tasted! Creamy and delicious. I highly recommend the butter pecan, the cappuccino crunch and the dark chocolate raspberry truffle.
