It's very cute You can sit inside at a table or outside on rocking chairs. They did have a lot to choose from with a variety of toppings and ways to serve it. Our party of three had a peanut butter shake which was lacking in peanut butter. The shake was very thick, too thick to use a straw so a spoon it was. Another had bubble gum ice cream and she has been searching for this flavor for months and she said it's delicious. Another had chocolate brownie something and loved it. Very clean and inviting environment I just don't feel like some of the ice creams have a lot of flavor they are pretty bland. If I'm going to be completely honest, I need to recommend you go somewhere else to get your ice cream. Of course that's being completely selfish because the ice cream here is the best I've ever tasted in my life and I just don't want to have to stand in line every time I come in. No joke, I have no idea how they make this stuff but it's amazing regardless of the flavor you get. There is no bad choice, only bad timing when trying to get some. I have found the quickest way through is to go in and walk directly to the freezer with pre-packaged pints and just get one that sounds good to you, then you can walk directly to the register and pay for it. That takes about 3 minutes and makes everyone in line look at you like you're some kind of genius or superhero but it does limit you in your choices somewhat. But if you remember, I said there isn't any bad choices here so you can't go wrong. There is a benefit to getting to meet people while waiting in line so I guess it's up to you how to make each via count. Please don't go here. It's crowded. Thanks. read more

We've been to this spot a few times when visiting the area. I would definitely sample the flavors because brownie batter tonight tasted like low key/mild chocolate ice cream and lacked any brownie or rich chocolate. Easy to find, with handicapped parking near the entrance. The building is like an old southern home with an inviting porch full of rocking chairs. Inside has additional seating. Mistook ice cream shop next door for Calabash Creamery. We noticed when leaving we were at the wrong place. The next night my granddaughter asked to drive back and try the correct Calabash Creamery. Hello Yelpers! This review is a bit shorter than my normal, but at times, simple is better! We went to visit some family in North Carolina and they took us to this cute little spot for some ice cream. The outdoor decor was super cute and even had a small area with cows for a photo op. Of course we took advantage! The place is very welcoming and had so many selections for ice cream. I tried to keep mine simple with chocolate and strawberry (tastes like a chocolate covered strawberry in a cone), my Dad got butter pecan and maple walnut in a cone, and I honestly can't remember what my Mom got (oops!). The texture was creamy and smooth. The flavors popped but it was not too much to shock your taste buds. You can definitely tell the ice cream was homemade and fresh. 10/10 highly recommend if you're in the area and want a sweet treat! It's good but the scoops are so small! It's worth checking out (if you don't mind waiting 20 mins in line). The flavours are fun but I just thought the ice cream was not worth the wait! I've had better ice cream in my hometown Cleveland OH and just the pure waiting with the combination of the small scoops for the price... not worth it to me! There were 12 ice creams to choose from , they had a special sundae but the chocolate peanut butter cup was calling me. I had decided 2 scoops ; one chocolate peanut butter cup and the other was cappuccino crunch . They also had a special of sprinkles, I chose chocolate instead of rainbow. I did try the coconut , it was good - great flavor and had pieces of coconut in it . Both of the flavors that I chose were creamy and delicious . The perfect amount of chocolate and loved the miniature peanut butter cups. The other cup was mint chocolate chip and salted caramel, with chocolate sprinkles also. The service was good and they were accommodating with a sample or two. Inside it's quite clean and nice, and there are rockers outside where you can enjoy your cone. Tip- beware the "other dodgy ice cream place nearby" as it can be misleading which is which. If the price was a little more reasonable it would be an easy 5 star.
