We always come to Grippys when we're at Surfside. Lots of options to choose from, many flavors. My flavors for the day is rocky road and on the bottom I have PB Oreo. Great service and it was busy this evening. read more

Drippy's Homemade Ice Cream - My flavors for the day is rocky road and on the bottom I have PB Oreo. Great service and it was busy this evening. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Surfside Beach, South Carolina

This was some of the best quality ice cream I've ever had. Thick, decadent, and rich in flavor. Then it melts into like a milkshake if you'd rather wait than dig at it with your spoon. It's much different than type of ice cream you'd get from a chain or grocery store. All of these places have been cutting costs by lowering the quality of ingredients. You can certainly tell after you try this. I definitely think the price is justified, and they give you plenty enough to share if you get two scoops. Great to eat while you walk the beach or look out from the pier! read more

Great homemade ice cream in a perfect setting on the pier. Highly recommend the pecan cookie ice cream.

The moment she handed me the ice cream it was a melty soupy mess yuck! Was dripping all over the place. Just nasty...And this sad excuse for ice cream didn't taste anything like its flavors either. read more

Awesome ice cream, very smooth and yummy with lots of flavors to choose from. Services was friendly and it's a cute little place. I would recommend the flight so you can have 4 different flavors! Definitely would come back read more

Even with the long line, they were able to move through it very quickly. Ice cream was wonderful and it has a humongous selection!

Amazing Oreo ice cream! You could tell it was homemade, my dad got a vanilla milk shake that was also delicious!

Delish ice cream. Only regret was getting it in a cake cone because man that ice cream started dripping about 5 seconds after i stepped outside. Keeping up with it took focus! Next time, i'll go with the cup! But the flavor was great read more

I like to consider myself an ice cream connoisseur and this is the best ice cream I've had in the state of South Carolina (can yall come to Mt Pleasant please????) My husband and I went three times in two days and simply loved everything. They have so many unique flavors to choose from and staff allowed us to sample as many flavors as desired. My personal favorite was the red velvet on a waffle cone. What we appreciated most was their accommodations for nut allergies. Staff were very intentional and prepared the ice cream in a separate, clean area. A must stop when in Surfside! read more

Nice new spot on the pier. Many many great selections and friendly service. Beautiful walk on the pier with a tasty treat. read more

We were in the area for five days. We went every day. It's reasonably priced, they're fast, the flavors are good. I kept it reasonable with a single scoop of mint chocolate chip (it was actual chips, not fudge pieces!). This was a great stop to hit up on the boardwalk, and worth visiting every single day you are able to! read more

The ice cream was delicious! Homemade definitely beats chain ice cream. My whole family was impressed.

This is a good little place on the pier. No indoor seating and it's also has a service window. Super busy when we came. It strikes a good balance between value and quality. I picked up the peanut butter thing--cannot recall the name--but it was good. Good balance of PB and ice cream. If you like peanut butter this one is your jam! Service is as pretty fast. Small place, felt pretty gI would recommend it. read more

Let's just say I want to go back and taste other flavors. Ice creams are home made and have some interesting flavor combinations. I ordered the orange pineapple and OMGGG! Whomever thought of this is an ice cream genius. Kids got the mint chocolate chip, and velvet. The only complaint was that the shop was EXTREMELY hot. As soon as the ice cream was on the cone, it started to melt. The staff were very attentive and provided great service. They work the long line with no problem. read more

Walk up and select from an assortment of handmade flavors. Too many to just have one. Such an awesome ambiance on the pier. But be careful, don't let the front door hit you on the way in! ;) read more

Ice cream was great and it's fun to be on the beach! Would definitely recommend! We'll be back. :-)

We all had scoops of ice cream. The special flavor was salty goat -- salted caramel ice cream with toasted pecans and homemade pecan cookies -- to die for. My partner had peanut butter Oreo. She said it was one of her absolute favorite flavors. I tried it -- IMO the peanut butter was stronger than the Oreo, but also just right! Totally worth the 15 min drive from the Convention Center for homemade 'scream! read more

Another amazing drippys with a to go window and a small inside. Always a line but it moves fast and the service is polite and easy. The sundaes are great and the key lime pie flavor and butter pecan were fantastic. read more

First visit. It was after 9pm on a Sunday night. The good; Even with a long line, they have cashiers on both ends of counter and the line moved quickly. The ice cream (Salty Goat) was good but not the best I've had. Hubby had salty goat and coffee and felt the same. The not so good: The building was SO HOT! The girls were working non-stop and the air conditioner was broken. I hope, for their sake, this isn't a regular issue. I understood the cones are homemade. I live for a good homemade waffle cone and how a thick, crispy cone offsets the sweetness of the ice cream. Therefore I tried a chocolate nut cone and expected the saltiness of the nuts to add to that balance of sweet, crunchy and salty. Unfortunately. it was the worst cone I've ever had. It tasted stale, was too sweet for my liking and was too thin to hold up to the ice cream, especially in the heat. To me, a nutty butty cone is better. That was so disappointing. I might give it another try but will try another flavor in a cup. read more

Just meh. Little pricey but to be expected because it was on the Surfside fishing pier.

Good service! Great food! Quick service, even when the line is out the door!! You can't go wrong with the banana split or the monkey! read more

We are from out of town and found Drippys by accident. Amazing place. We love the Vegan ice cream. Please add some more vegan flavors

I didn't get to take a picture because it started melting immediately, but I had the best coffee and salted caramel ice cream in a waffle cone. And I wish I would've gone there a few days earlier. Everyone I went with loved what they got. And we all got different things. The girls working were super sweet and personable. It was a pleasing experience. read more
