BEWARE! This place sells "Labubus" for $25 each and they are telling their customers they are real even though they are very obviously FAKE. My elderly aunt purchased 2 of them and unfortunately she didn't know any better, but the worker named Anna assured her they were 100% real. She was so excited thinking it was her lucky day, only to later realize she just spent $50 on LAFUFUS. Stop lying Anna. You know these are fake. Someone already left a review from 1 month ago which describes how you refunded them for the fake Labubu you sold them. So not only are you knowingly selling counterfeit goods but you are lying to your out-of-town customers to make a quit buck. Sickening! Notice the $24.99 sticker covering the bar code and how the receipt doesn't have a description of what was sold. This business SUGAR KINGDOM is going out of their way to deceive. We stopped by this morning hoping to speak to you about this but your doors were locked even though it was during your normal business hours. I'm sharing photos to show what was sold versus what an actual Labubu looks like. There's no excuse for selling these at $25 each when they are hardly worth $5. It was a rainy Sunday on vacation when we spotted this bright colored building housing sugars galore with their branded ziploc bags to pick your sweet tooth cravings. There is sweets from wall to wall and in every form imaginable. From candy to chocolate, fudge to ice cream they have it all. I do feel that at $6.99 per 1/2 pound is pretty steep IMO my kids loved the experience and it was cool looking all the way around. Seeing the old Alvin's word and seeing how much they did here to make it nice you know they did a ton of work. My favorite part is probably the floors though. The finish is truly trippy and whimsical and perfectly fits a kingdom of sugar. If they were clearer about which door to go in would be nice as well. For the parents it's an eh unless your a candy/sweets junky but for kids it's pretty cool. The jelly bean counter top was her favorite thing in the place. If you're in the area with nothing to do and love sugar this is the place for you! read more

Typical big tourist candy store on par with "it's sugar" and the like, big difference here is they have ice cream. Their candy inventory isn't as extensive as the other candy stores, they have an inventory of T-shirts and things like that and less of a candy inventory. Almost $7 /pound seems expensive but maybe it's kind of normal, but it is what it is and the per pound is an easy way for you to get multiple different kinds of candy, throw it 1 bag and then just go by weight. read more

I would not suggest that anyone with a bladder go to this candy store/ ice cream shop and expect to be able to use a restroom while they are there to spend their money buying overpriced candy and ice cream, because for some reason "they do not have a restroom and you have to go over to McDonald's to use the restroom." As I have seen in older photos and reviews here they apparently use to have a restrooms in the back corner where it now says "office" and "employees only." For whatever the reason is they must not no longer have a public restroom they should at least have compassion on a 3 year old dancing around trying not to pee her pants and not expect her to walk across the street when she wasn't even able to make it out of the store without letting it go. She has been potty trained since before turning 3 and she rarely ever has accidents like this and had use the restroom in the restaurant we were at right before going to this store so it was not her fault. She was just so excited in this store it put her little body in overdrive. Needless to say we let them know they had a spill to clean up and dropped the $100 worth of candy and toys we had gathered up and walked out. read more

Side door says bathroom for customers only, but when you go inside, the bathroom says "out of order, sorry" in colorful fun handwriting on the door. Upon verbal inquiry, the cashier confirmed, "yeah, sorry, it's not working.....". I mean I don't really believe that... between my friend and I we dropped about $60 so I think we earned the privilege of getting to use the bathroom.... So the pro about this place, the taffy is pretty good. Not exhaustive on flavors, for example they didn't have vanilla taffy today but it was pretty fresh and soft. I'm a west coaster and I know my taffy quality. It was top notch in regard to freshness, not stale or hardened at all. Just don't count on getting permission to use the potty. read more

The ice cream in this place is amazing! I've never had Hersheys brand ice cream before but wow, yummy! The staff were very very friendly. It's a huge store, lots of other candy's, toys, really colorful fun things. Nice place. Don't know why it says opened until noon.. they are opened until 11 pm read more

We just tried this place out on our yearly vacation to Sunset. It was super bright and clean with an awesome selection of candies and toys. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their souvenirs. MUCH better than a lot of the nearby shops. We will definitely be adding this place to our annual traditions. My only complaints were lack of staff and the fact that you had to wait for the ice cream people to be done to pay. I think they should have someone at the register all the time. Hopefully they will find some help as they are actively interviewing this week. Also, they don't take 50's due to counterfeits that were passed there. They just need to learn how to read the safety features of the various bills via the Fed's site, but I digress. Just bring small bills or your card. read more

Awesome for kids! Plenty of options as far as candy, treats, and ice cream! Only down fall is most of the "rides" or arcade style games are out of order. Still fun visually and exciting atmosphere! Even the colors just draw you in! read more
