Grabbed some donuts this morning. It was quick in and out service. The staff was nice and friendly. As we were leaving a long line was forming. We are going to stop by late and have some gelato.

The donuts are 10/10. So many unique flavors, the Samoa flavor is unbelievable. You truly can't go wrong with any of the options here.

Just moved here and looked for a good donut shop.... This one tastes like Dunkin' donut and maybe worse. I choose their donut of the month (apple pie filling). Around where the filling is, it tasted raw! The store seemed clean and the girl who served me was friendly but when I had a question about a donut, she didn't know. Also she said the filings were "sent here except for the custard, we haven't had that in a while for some reason". I was under the impression it was all made there at the bakery?? I will not come back.

This place was near a pizza place we were trying and they were selling their speciality donuts for a $1.00 each. Well we had to get a few to sample. The Samoa affectionately named after the Girl Scout cookies was outrageous. Loaded with coconut and chocolate on top. We are trying a blueberry, strawberry, Nutella and apple donut too. They make so many flavors you gotta try them all. Enjoyed browsing the selections. They sell good looking gelato too and other pasties.

Really cute place for some gourmet donuts and coffee. We skipped the coffee, so my review is for the donuts. They're akin to Duck Donuts in flavor options...fun ones like Nutella stuffed, butterfinger topping, maple glazed with bacon crumble, and Spilt Milk which is an Oreo cream-filled. They have a glass wall so you can view the donut making process when they're in production mode. Service is excellent. Our first visit we were served by a sweet older woman who remarked that she worked with kids with autism (noticing our own boys on the spectrum), and our second visit we were served by a very friendly and personable young man who explained all the various flavors they had for sale that day. Highly recommend you pay them a visit when you're in the mood for donuts!

Get your donut fix here! There's something about being at the beach and getting donuts for breakfast. This spot did not disappoint! They have your usual flavors and then fun creations like Nutella and banana pudding. We got a half dozen donuts and they were good the next day too! I will certainly get donuts from here every time I'm in OIB!

I love donuts like these! Fluffy and satisfying. I chose the Holland cream, chocolate glaze and berry filled. Great donuts and made just right. I always like the opportunity to get a few and nibble on all of them. Great doughnut spot!

Awesome fresh donuts and delicious coffee. What else do you need? Warning, I gained 10 lbs. Just looking at all the goodies. If in the area, you have to stop in and get your sugar rush.

It's a bit pricey, but you…read morecan tell they use high quality ingredients and whoever curated the menu put a lot of time into it. The avocado toast, the veggie breakfast burrito, the coffee cake, the smoothies, and the iced black amber are my go to's and they never miss. The service is quick, even though I know they get crazy busy during the summer. As someone who understands service/cafe biz, I will always give leniency to workers who are busting it during high volume seasons. The people who don't understand that a wait will be expected when you have one good coffee shop on an island that hosts thousands of people every summer are dense. Be kinder to your service workers, people. The most recent time I visited Drift, I was excited to try the Acai bowl. After I ordered, I was told that unfortunately they were out of Acai. They refunded my money and I ordered a smoothie instead. I was ready to pay for my smoothie when the employee told me the smoothie was on the house since they were out of Acai. Great customer service. I've been visiting Ocean Isle since there were rinky-dink water slides in operation across from what is now Drift. It's been wonderful to see a successful, quality coffee shop on the island.

Mr. And I both ordered the market bowl. Quinoa, sweet potatoes, avocado, tomato, and a spring mix w a fried egg on top. It was beautiful! Then we bit into it. The sweet potato was barely on the brink of being frozen. The Quinoa was also cold...not just room temperature, but ice-cold! Avocado was way too cold as well. So, you can imagine what this did to the beautifully cooked egg... yep - turned it cold in a heartbeat. Really off-putting to bit into. Mr. went back inside and asked if they had a microwave to heat it up and the 'workers' just said that was they way it was supposed to be. Mr. tossed the entire thing in the trash and simply said "well, it's disgusting". You would think there would be a simple offer to heat it up, or some kind of remedy for the situation. They didn't give a crap. I'm pretty sure they flipped us the bird on the way out. Nice.

First time trying, and honestly won't be back…read more I'll start with the good. Place was clean, the service was excellent and very friendly, albeit slow as it wasn't very busy on this off season week. The friendly service is what upped the stars. Ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and a toasted everything with butter, and an iced coffee. Husband said coffee was good. We waited 25 min for something that should've taken less than 5. When it came out the everything wasn't toasted but we also didn't want to wait any longer. The bagels were definitely not boiled, and tasted like a piece of bread, not at all like a bagel. The size was ok, but for what we paid, just not worth it. I will stick to my rule of only eating bagels in NJ or north.

You stand in line to order and they bring the food to you when it's done. There's a dining room and a bar as well as patio seating. We ordered four bagels: one plain with grape jelly, one blueberry with strawberry jelly, one bacon egg and pepper jack on Asiago and one bacon, egg, American and bacon scallion cream cheese on jalapeño. We also order two coffees - one iced one hot, orange juice, a sunrise smoothie and a mimosa from the bar. Our sweets order was: donut holes, an Oreo donut and a cinnamon roll. The bagels were all very fresh and made perfectly. The coffees were custom orders and delicious - I had a hot cinnamon hazelnut coffee and it was an amazing combination! The donut holes were our favorite sweet! You could tell they were made fresh! The service was outstanding and the ambience was ideal. The kids loved watching the surfers on the big waves playing on the television! Definitely a must visit spot at OIB!
