Food was sub par I mean I get precooked food and all but at least make it hot to the table. We ordered and food was delivered in less than 5min which is great. Everything was under lukewarm except the grits ordered. I wouldn't recommend this location unless you're looking for good coffee. The service and establishment is great though. read more

Came for brunch with a friend that lives in area. It was busy on Sunday right as church got out. I didn't wait long I think maybe 15 min. The girls at front checking us in and taking us to tables were very nice. Our server was very nice and attentive.. she gave us space to catch up and our orders came out in few min once we ordered. I have been to both of the locations in NMB and like both. I get the Crab Cakes Benny. They are on the small side but flavorful, especially because they're served on garlic toast instead of an English muffin. The home fries are tasty and you can add onions, peppers, breakfast meats, or cheese to them for an up charge. Service has always been exceptional. They are prompt and friendly and checked on me while eating to see if I needed anything. It's a cute spot and very clean. read more

Horrible service!!! The waitress was Terrible and had us sitting, waiting to be served for over 15 minutes. She never acknowledged us at the table or anything. The hostess saw we had been sitting for a while and when she got the attention of the waitress Karen, she came to the table with a bad attitude like it was our fault she didn't know how to wait tables. Atmosphere: Eggs Up Grill has a spacious dining area, and the mood inside is bright and energetic. Service: We had some difficulty getting our group of 6 seated. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told that it would be around a 15 minute wait to be seated, but we ended up waiting closer to 20-30 minutes. Though our server was friendly, 5 out of 6 of our orders had some problems. One of our group members never received their coffee, and several of us did not receive the eggs that came with our dish. Food: We ordered the Shrimp & Grits and Founder's Hash & Eggs. We were really excited to try the Shrimp & Grits, as the shrimp alongside some andouille sausage sounded delicious, but we were disappointed to find that the dish was extremely salty and greasy. Once we took a few bites out of the bowl, there was a very visible pool of oil that made the dish look very unappetizing. The shrimp and sausage tasted good, but we weren't huge fans of the cheese -- we thought there was too much of it in the bowl, resulting in several gummy chunks of cheese overpowering the bowl. The Founder's Hash & Eggs were ok. The corned beef hash was unflavorful and was just salty at best. It had to be eaten with the eggs and a good amount of pepper to be palatable. The grits and biscuits were standard, and the eggs were cooked at a good over-easy. Overall: The friendly and welcoming energy of Eggs Up Grill did not make up for the poor service and food. The food was rather unflavorful, and their Shrimp & Grits was probably our least favorite interpretation of the dish. As Eggs Up Grill prided themselves on their wide egg offerings and then failed to bring out the eggs that came with our dishes, we would not recommend them for brunch. read more
