I got bacon eggs grits and one pancake.. I forgot how much food that is lol.. all was very good! It wasn't very loud and it was pretty busy .. laid back and cute decor. read more

I have been to both of the locations in NMB and like both. I get the Crab Cakes Benny. They are on the small side but flavorful, especially because they're served on garlic toast instead of an English muffin. The home fries are tasty and you can add onions, peppers, breakfast meats, or cheese to them for an up charge. Service has always been exceptional. They are prompt and friendly and checked on me while eating to see if I needed anything. It's a cute spot and very clean. read more

We have eaten at this location several times over the past few months. Each time both the food and the service have been really good.

Food was sub par I mean I get precooked food and all but at least make it hot to the table. We ordered and food was delivered in less than 5min which is great. Everything was under lukewarm except the grits ordered. I wouldn't recommend this location unless you're looking for good coffee. The service and establishment is great though. read more

The food was good but in my opinion it's more west coast diner meets southern food so if southern food is really what you're going for I don't think this is the place for you. Service was wonderful though and the vibe is great. Plenty of parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Horrible service!!! The waitress was Terrible and had us sitting, waiting to be served for over 15 minutes. She never acknowledged us at the table or anything. The hostess saw we had been sitting for a while and when she got the attention of the waitress Karen, she came to the table with a bad attitude like it was our fault she didn't know how to wait tables. I do not recommend this restaurant at all!!!!! We observed her interaction and timeliness to other tables and our experience was different. To management, hiring racist people, will bring down your business!!!! read more

Horrible service. I waited 20 minutes past the time promised for an online order. Nice enough workers felt bad and apologized but management needs to plan better and give more accurate wait times! If you can't handle the volume, don't take the orders! read more

Sweet waitress. They really seem to get along back there. I had the home style platter and it was yummy and a lot of food. Good coffee that was always refreshed. Interior looks clean, new and bright. My only suggestion would be to have some smaller portion options. read more

Packed for breakfast but the service was quick and friendly. I ordered the praline pecan pancakes with bacon and an egg. They cooked the egg a perfect over-medium and the bacon was nice and crispy. The pancakes were delicious too. The coffee was fresh and hot, and the server came by often to top-off my cup. Felicia was our waitress and was very attentive. read more

Great food; amazing staff- good service. Great for walk-ins. Thsdonuts are to die for, while the grits were very good.

Not professional! The worst experience I have had of any place in the area! DO NOT go to this location unless you want to wait forever! Told us it would be 25 mins, took 86 mins! Empty tables that were clean everywhere! They claim lack of employees, but they have the same amount running around as I have always seen at this location and the others. Some places I can see that is the actual causation, not this one. Kept seating two tops before any other parties that kept the kitchen backed up! Learn how to manage a restaurant Eggs Up! read more

Love this place for just about everything on the menu...and the grits are outstanding. Especially love that there are several non- pork options to choose from. Hash Bene 4/5 - eggs were poached well and side of grits were delish Bananas Foster French Toast 5/5 - hubby devoured these entire meal. read more

The service we had was on point. My kid didn't think he had enough food off the kid menu, BUT he totally had the correct portion, and I appreciate it. My food was OK, and my husband had the French toast. Everything was OK, but it's nothing earth-shattering. I ordered grits, and they were good! Decent. Even. But... I will say it looked like the servers were overwhelmed by the number of tables needing to be busted while they navigated and brought folks food. It was good for a quick bite, but I may keep navigating for other breakfast spots. It's not bad, just not epic. read more

Not our first or even second choice, but sure glad we ended up here... We missed the turn to the first place we were going to eat, the second stop had people waiting outside, so off we went and ended up here. Welcomed very warmly, we were seated immediately and we visited by our waitress quickly. My wife enjoyed their eggs and sausage with plain pancakes, while I did the same but with their specialty Apple Crisp pancakes - it was sinfully delicious. I highly suggested it if you come here. Service was friendly, efficient, and took care of all our requests - great job all around. read more

Service was terrible! Took order, someone else brought food, order wrong, never checked on us once. Had to stare her down to get a check to pay. Only time in my life I've considered walking out without paying - but food wasn't terrible so couldn't fault the kitchen I suppose. Never again. read more

Atmosphere: Eggs Up Grill has a spacious dining area, and the mood inside is bright and energetic. Service: We had some difficulty getting our group of 6 seated. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told that it would be around a 15 minute wait to be seated, but we ended up waiting closer to 20-30 minutes. Though our server was friendly, 5 out of 6 of our orders had some problems. One of our group members never received their coffee, and several of us did not receive the eggs that came with our dish. Food: We ordered the Shrimp & Grits and Founder's Hash & Eggs. We were really excited to try the Shrimp & Grits, as the shrimp alongside some andouille sausage sounded delicious, but we were disappointed to find that the dish was extremely salty and greasy. Once we took a few bites out of the bowl, there was a very visible pool of oil that made the dish look very unappetizing. The shrimp and sausage tasted good, but we weren't huge fans of the cheese -- we thought there was too much of it in the bowl, resulting in several gummy chunks of cheese overpowering the bowl. The Founder's Hash & Eggs were ok. The corned beef hash was unflavorful and was just salty at best. It had to be eaten with the eggs and a good amount of pepper to be palatable. The grits and biscuits were standard, and the eggs were cooked at a good over-easy. Overall: The friendly and welcoming energy of Eggs Up Grill did not make up for the poor service and food. The food was rather unflavorful, and their Shrimp & Grits was probably our least favorite interpretation of the dish. As Eggs Up Grill prided themselves on their wide egg offerings and then failed to bring out the eggs that came with our dishes, we would not recommend them for brunch. read more
