The shift manager, Myra, made a scene. The person taking our order had his AirPod in and made us raise our voice to tell our order. Then while waiting for our donuts the shift manager, Myra, yelled all the way from across the store, do you have a problem. All of the customers in the store just look at each other because we were all so confused. We were just standing there talking to each, and she yelled from across the store. And this was the shift manager, Myra. Then when we get the donuts the shift manager throws the donuts down and tells us that we were as ugly on the inside as we are on the outside. This place is worth the wait! We stopped by here 2 mornings on vacation, showed up around 6:45am (they open at 7) and we were the 11th group in line! The plain cake donuts are made hot and fresh per order and topped/made right in front of your face! The breakfast sandwiches can be served on an English muffin or one of the plain cake donuts and if you "donut" choose the donut you are making the wrong choice If you normally go to Ocean City for vacation this place is a fractured prune, waaayyy better then getting a dozen from Dunkin or Krispy. read more

Typically we visit the Duck Donuts in Columbus, OH. While the donuts are no doubt amazing and tasted exactly the same, the service wasn't 5 stars. We ordered 4 combos so each of us could have our own box in the truck. They gave us one big box. When I inquired, they gave me 4 boxes and told me to separate them myself however I wanted them. Apparently they weren't rang into the register as combos, so I probably over paid too. Oh well... probably won't be back to this location. Polaris location is the best! Sorry, not sorry. read more

Very kind service and freshly made donuts. My reason for taking two stars off is that they only have cake donuts and poor quality control. Personally, I find cake donuts to not be the best type. Additionally, it is really cool that your flavors are fresh made to order but they were poorly made where they were drowned in toppings and syrup to the point where the donuts were so soggy you could not pick it up very well. read more

Wow these are the softest warm donuts we have ever had! The line was long but the wait was worth it. You get to watch them decorate your donuts! You can choose your icing and topping or a donut from their specials. I did one of each kind and unfortunately my banana Fluffernutter ended up being a peanut butter chocolate but it was still so good I can't bring myself to eliminate a star. The donut decorator actually did two more donuts for us just to fill our box which was amazing! We also had their coffee which was very good. They sell rubber ducks which was awesome for us because we have a family member that collects them. Definitely worth a trip if you want a sweet breakfast! read more

Oh my word. I don't like cake doughnuts. Or I didn't before. These should come with an addiction warning label. The staff was so nice too. Very patient and helpful toward us first time visitors. I've been waiting for an hour and a half. Totally the managers fault. She was doing inventory when the rest of the store needed her. The poor girl that was making the donuts also had to try to keep the 20 of us waiting happy and answer every question while making the donuts. She didn't have the time for that. She just finally walked out from the back to help, when she was forced to help someone with their online return. I have never posted a negative review, food service is hard, and everyone has bad days, but her bosses need to address this. It wasn't fair to the rest of the employees who were working hard to try to keep up. They lost many sales due to walk outs and people who gave up after an hour of waiting, and there was no reason for that to happen. They also keep skipping people waiting to fill online orders. It threw everything else into chaos, and being skipped again and again means I won't be back. The donuts were very good. It's a neat gimmick, But not worth an hour and a half wait. read more

They're always fresh (made to order), great selection for variety including glazed, & the staff are always so sweet & kind. I can't speak for the other locations because I've only been to this one, but they definitely have their ducks in a row (pun intended). They're a little bit pricy, but I promise you it's worth it! I spent $20 on their specialty box of summer donuts only to wait 30 minutes and only receive 2/3 of the specialty donuts and the rest were just plain rando donuts that they threw in the box that was supposed to be "made to order". And they were not hurrying to finish making them, they were sitting in the counter when I got there to pick them up. I did not receive the strawberry shortcake donut, the lemon iced with strawberry drizzle or the Coffeecake donut. There are literally pictures online of what should be in that dozen and they just didn't do it. Instead they gave me a plain maple frosted, which I hate, a plain powdered donut and a plain sugared donut. My advice is, go to Krispy Kreme where you get what you pay for. Oh and no one helped me when I entered either. They let other people pile up around the counter and loiter until they were good and ready to clear out. Real nice. read more

Tried Duck Donuts for the first time. They are truly fantastic! Soft and fresh! They weren't as well received by the rest of my family as the yeasty chain up the highway, but I give them thumbs up! I love all the creative and tasty options! Was glad I had a coupon - they are definitely not bargain donuts. But I could tell each donut was made to order - not made hours ago and sitting around in a case. The donuts here are tasty, but I strongly recommend ordering ahead before coming into the store. They are extremely understaffed right now. It took 40 minutes to fill an order of four donuts after we placed it at the register. Yes, these are made to order, so a longer wait should be anticipated than a standard donut shop where the staff simply grab a donut off the shelf, but this amount of waiting was excessive.
