*CELIAC / GLUTEN FREE REVIEW I came around noon on a Saturday and they were almost sold out! they had brownies, pound cakes, cupcakes, and donuts when I went. We got the cinnamon crunch donut and a lemon cupcake - the donut was great, with a little caramelized brown sugar on top for a crunch. Everything was gluten free, dairy free AND soy free. It was such a nice feeling to have so many choices! Let's be honest though, I got one of everything. Don't let anyone go in front of you if you're undecided because you never know who's about to clean them out. Get there early, like at opening, or call a week in advance to place an order for pickup. Hayley and her husband were lovely! She asked about allergies and dietary restrictions so she could steer us in the right direction. We selected a brownie, a chocolate chip cookie and a strawberry donut with chocolate glaze. Hayley told us that she doesn't use any dyes or artificial flavors, and the true strawberry flavor of the donut was amazing. She even asked if we wanted a center brownie or one with an edge! We were very surprised to find a gluten free bakery in Myrtle Beach during our vacation. However we were so happy to find this place. As the chef/owner explained, she is a one woman show. She places a lot of emphasis on avoiding allergy causing ingredients and will explain her ingredients in detail. We wanted some sweets to celebrate our birthdays, but wanted as natural as possible with no sugar, no dairy, no egg. Her fudge brownies were perfect as she used coconut sugar. She also had a double chocolate cup cake that had a cream frosting that did have a little dairy, but it it looked so good we decided to cheat and get those too. I live in Nebraska and we always come to Myrtle on vacation. This time my son was having a birthday party and he really wanted a Minecraft cake. I called at so many places and no one but this place knew what I was talking about. I called 3 months ahead and felt like it was going to be taken care of. I walked in the other day after struggling to find a parking space which is near impossible to achieve only to be told I had to wait outside while she took care of the person ahead of me. The owner practices safety measures for COVID 19 with one party inside at a time, mask wearing and sanitizing hands prior to entry. She asked me about my dietary needs and showed me the delicious options available for me. I was so pleased with my choices! I was having a friend with gluten intolerance visiting for a few days. I was looking for products that would be fresh baked, not the mass produced products that are becoming readily available. I must tell you that I am thrilled with the products I purchased. The bread was so enjoyable. I also ordered cinnamon buns and German chocolate cake. Nicole the owner, was very accommodating. The bakery is dairy free, nut free and gluten free. Nicole was willing to make me a naked cake, so we could frost the cake with the traditional german chocolate frosting. The cake was amazing. I will be back, as I have a DIL that is vegan. I would highly recommend this bakery to anyone that is gluten free. You will not be disappointed. read more
