Not the same place it used to be. I came here years ago when they first opened--probably over a decade ago--and they were great back then. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. I recently dropped off a blazer for two things: 1. Sleeve and collar repairs (to fix broken stitching) 2. Dry cleaning They called me to clarify the alterations and said they could fix the sleeve, but the seamstress "doesn't like to do collar work." That should've been my red flag, but I let them go ahead with the sleeve. When I came to pick it up, I pointed out that the stitching looked awful--completely unprofessional. It was a sloppy hand stitch, and they claimed it was "reinforced." I've included a photo so you can judge for yourself: the left side shows the original factory stitching and the right side is their work. Not even close. I was quoted $18 but charged $15, so I assumed they at least did the dry cleaning and maybe knocked a few bucks off. But when I got it home, it still looked dirty. I called to ask if it had even been cleaned, and that's when they told me the ticket only said alterations. That was never the agreement--I was clear when I dropped it off that I wanted both. In the end, I paid $15 for work that now needs to be redone, and I still need to get it dry cleaned somewhere else. I let them know I'd be writing a review because this was frustrating, disappointing, and just not worth it. It's a shame because they used to be better. When I dropped off the blazer, I was given an estimate for both the collar and sleeve repair. I was told the collar might not be worth fixing due to cost, and that the seamstress would need to confirm pricing. I never declined the service to "avoid the cost," nor did I say I'd fix it myself--I was waiting for a quote that never came. Second, there was no hole in the armpit area. There were two areas in the collar that needed repair, and loose stitching on the sleeve that needed reinforcing. These were clearly pointed out during drop-off. Third, I didn't ask for a discount. I voiced my concern about the quality of the sleeve repair when I picked it up--it was poorly hand-stitched and clearly not professional. The employee then went to the back, made a phone call, and returned to charge me $15. That price reduction was your team's decision--not mine. I also requested dry cleaning when I dropped the blazer off. That part of my request was ignored. When I called to ask about it, I was told the ticket only said "alterations." So somewhere between drop-off, alterations, and pick-up, there was clearly a breakdown in communication--either between the front desk, the seamstress, or management. And for the record, I didn't "threaten" a bad review. I said I would be writing an honest one, and I did. The photos I posted clearly show that the stitching was not done to a professional standard. That's not an opinion--it's visible. Instead of trying to discredit my experience or twist the facts, I suggest taking this feedback seriously. I was a returning customer from years ago and gave your business a chance. But this visit was disappointing and frustrating. I really loved this place and gave over $500 to them in just a year and half of business. Unfortunately they damaged a skirt and would not help me find a remedy. They offered me $10 credit which felt like I am not valued here. I love to support local business so this was really disappointing. It was a brand new skirt I brought in and never got the chance to wear it. Up until this point all the work had been excellent and it is close to my home so I am disappointed to have to find another place to go to. I went in with good faith to explore options in restoring trust with the business relationship because I wanted to continue coming here. I didn't ask for a refund. I didn't ask for cash back. I asked for a credit or gift card on my account for some amount. Eric the manager (and maybe owner) said all he could do was $10 because "the skirt is still wearable and the damage is not noticeable." He said if he gave me $50 then he would own the skirt. I took the skirt back in on 1/21 because I noticed the damage on 1/20. The young man behind the counter said a manager would call me. I called on 1/27 to follow up because I had not heard anything. I spoke to the woman who handles the dry cleaning directly and she was very rude. She told me she cleaned it herself and used those pins. She told me I was the only one who ever complained which looking at the reviews is not true. I told her I was just following up because I had not heard anything from them. I asked when the manager would be in so I could go in and speak to them since that was what they said were next steps. I went on 1/30 and had the interaction with Eric. When he returned the skirt to me it was in a pants clip hanger and not safety pinned which I'm not sure why it was not originally handled this way. I was never offered an apology. Instead I was patronized and mocked. Unfortunately throughout this process I felt belittled and disrespected. It felt really bad. I won't be coming here again. Updating this review because the owner replied: there is not a consistent policy because when I went in Eric said "I can do 5 percent" and then said "okay 10 percent". "Okay so what would you like". So there does not seem to be a policy that is consistent with everyone since he was making it up and changing on the spot. Even in their reply on yelp and google no apology or accountability was provided. A $20-$25 credit to someone's account would come out to 1-2 free items to be cleaned. Which for someone like me who spends $75-$225 every time I come here felt reasonable. read more

They don't really follow the posted open/close times. It's really an estimate of when they open/close. I was there at 9am and store was closed even though it says they open at 8:30. This is a really small shop that seems to be operated by one lady and I'm not sure who is in the back, but it doesn't seem too busy. She seems to be busy working in back every time I come here, but she's very prompt with tending to customers. Every time I bring my pants here, I give her a sample of what length I want and she gets it done! I think she charges $15 for a pair of pants, which is pretty competitive. I used to pay over $20 at Geety's in Union City, but after a bad experience there, I decided to try a new place closer to home. This place gets the job done and on time. I love the seamless process. I've been coming to this cleaners for years and it's been pretty good. The last time I dropped off my duvet cover, I was not happy with the results and they said the manager would call me. I called a couple times and couldn't talk to anyone in charge. I bought a new duvetso I let it go and forgot actually. I'm a new resident of the city if hayward, and finding a good dry cleaner was a must. Usually I like my dry cleaner to be close to home so I can quickly drop off and pick up. The section this dry cleaner is in is convenient, there are multiple other business. The dry cleaner itself is not big but enough for my needs. Went in on August 31st and told me my suit would be ready sept 4th due to the holiday. I dropped off a 2 piece suit and a button up shirt, it all came out to $17 and some change. The guy that helped me out was friendly and approachable, and that is always a plus. Awesome place to get your dry cleaning and laundry needs done. It all starts out with the incredible owners. Eric and Mitch are both very friendly and professional in dealing with their patrons. I've used them for my suits & huge items that need laundry. They are straight to the point when dealing with your concerns. They will still try and find a way to address them even if they know that it will be hard to solve the issue. Most of all, they are my go to place for our table mantles that we use at our bbq events. My flower girl's dress needed to be loosened (the zipper won't close) and after a horrible experience with another seamstress, it was such a relief to have someone look at a dress, analyze it and start marking certain spots on it before even talking about money. They vetoed our suggestion of doing a corset and suggested a better way which I thought was pretty creative because I didn't even think about it. This place is so awesome! I needed a new dress to be hemmed right before I left for vacation and was worried that it wouldn't be done in time. I brought it in on a Monday afternoon and it was ready by Wednesday evening. So here's the BEST part: the place closes at 7:00 pm, and I'm running late and was feeling really sad because I knew there would be no way I could get there in time to pick it up. I had a flight the next morning and had to leave before they even open the next day. So I call and explain my situation and I ask about their delivery options (which I remember seeing on their window when I dropped off the dress). The guy was super nice and understanding of my situation. He tells me he can deliver the dress to my house that night after they close! In the past few months I've been searching for a convenient and trustworthy stop near our home. The Dry Cleaning Station proved to be both. It located right off the freeway, making for an easy pick-up during rush hour. I used them for the wash and fold which was satisfactory with a quick turn around time. The loss of a star was for them not marketing or suggesting the delivery service (which would have been amazing at the time) that they have over a certain dollar amount. I walked into a shop and they dun did blasted me with a service cost of $17.95 for a man dress that I wore for 4 hours and I was like "Hot diggity darn!" while being coerced by my friend to pay it because she don't know how to leave. Great place for dry cleaning and alterations! The staff is extremely friendly and provide excellent customer service. Accommodating to your needs. My boyfriend and I take our work uniforms to get cleaned at least twice a month. Always an awesome job and done in a timely manner! Prices are comparable to other dry cleaning spots, but you get the great consistent service every time. I get nervous with alterations, but I wanted to give this place a try. I got 4 of my dresses with lining altered and was able to get one rushed because I needed it for a work meeting. She was able to work with my schedule and did an excellent job with the alteration!
