They worked so fast to fix 3 of my clothing pieces, and everything came out perfect. I'm petite, and they were able to tailor my overalls to fit me like a glove, seriously, they look so good now. They also fixed one of my jackets at the waist, and the fit is now exactly how I wanted it. The quality of the work is incredible. Complete Cleaners is not what it used to be. Since the change in management, the service has become unfriendly and unaccommodating. I had two pairs of pants tailored incorrectly. When I asked if they could fix the mistake, I was told I would need to pay again. Under the previous ownership, they would correct errors at no additional cost--so this felt like a big step down in customer service. Another issue is that they now require payment upfront. This makes it difficult to address problems after the fact, since you've already paid regardless of the outcome. The overall experience has also declined. Instead of returning items neatly steamed on hangers with protective covering, they now hand them back folded in a paper bag. It feels rushed and lacks the care they used to provide. Overall, the new management seems to prioritize process over customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, I won't be returning and cannot recommend this place. read more

Absolutely I stopped by Complete Cleaners in Union City and was extremely disappointed with the lack of basic customer service. When I first walked in, I expected at least some kind of greeting or acknowledgment, but no one came to the front. I could clearly see and hear two women working in the back, and there was music playing. We even made eye contact several times, so it was obvious they knew I was standing there. Despite that, neither of them came over. I tried saying "hello" multiple times, hoping someone would at least respond, but I was completely ignored. After standing there awkwardly for about five minutes with no acknowledgment whatsoever, I gave up and left. It's hard to believe a business can treat a potential customer like that and expect to keep people coming back. This experience was unprofessional, unwelcoming, and honestly disrespectful. If this is how they treat new customers, I can't imagine trusting them with my clothes or expecting reliable service. I'm extremely disappointed with this business. I hate writing negative reviews, but I had a horrible experience. My boyfriend and I were flying out for a wedding on the weekend. I brought in a suit and two shirts on Tuesday to be dry cleaned and they assured me it would be ready by noon on Friday. It would be cutting it close for us, but we left our clothes with them. I call to pick up my clothes on Friday at noon and they tell me that the clothes aren't done and their machines have been down. I was immediately panicked and upset they hadn't told me before so I could look to go somewhere else. I went in to take my stuff back but they told me they just needed to press my stuff and come back at 3pm. I was able to pick up my stuff at 2pm and really should have checked it before leaving because I found that the shirts were stained! The shirts were new and without stains when we brought them in, but as you can see in the pictures the sleeves are stained and worst of all, the collars are stained too. On both shirts! One of them doesn't look like it was pressed at all either. I was so happy they were able to help get my clothes to me quickly even though they didn't communicate it would take longer, but those feelings were short lived when I saw they did a terrible job. It was either buy a new dress and pay for the alterations or for them to figure out how to make it work. And the owner totally made it work! First off, I came in on a day where the owner was not in. So, the staff member called her. I had an awesome consultation over FaceTime. Which I wasn't expecting. She already had a plan on what to do. With my pregnancy getting closer to the end and my belly growing every week she did awesome! She went above and beyond. She planned the alterations as close as she can for the wedding to make sure my belly would fit, the dress wouldn't zip so she was able to alter the dress where it would zip up and of course change the length of it without making it too short! Stay away from this place. They should not be in business. Last year, I went to this cleaner to pick up my my $2500 D&G Dress finding out they ruined it. Dealing with the owner was Ridiculous because he demanded payment after ruining my dress. Since we were arguing and I didn't feel safe , I called the police bc we were not getting anywhere except yelling at each other during Christmas. You can call Union City police (verify by calling them, they came in December 2021). The Police Officer even spoke up for me, saying for a Dry Cleaning company, especially an owner, to have some respect and redo the dress and fix the damages done and that he himself has never seen a dress this bad of a shape AFTER dry cleaning. Uhm, wow! I just picked up my items that were being tailored and everything fits amazing! I'll admit I'm a perfectionist and I did check all the hems and stitch work, and everything looked really good. Nothing stuck out or looked awkward. This was my first time getting anything tailored and I wasn't sure what to expect. Dropping off my items and getting them pinned was a really easy process. The guy who pinned my items was really nice and very knowledgeable on what they can do and what will work with my requests. I dropped off my clothes and within hours i received a call stating that they classified my clothes incorrectly. That's not my problem. I agreed to pay the correct amount. I took 2 pairs of the same exact shirt to get dry cleaned. When it was ready for pick up and I noticed that one of the shirts appeared to be larger than the other. One shirt was stretched evenly on all sides (top, bottom, and sleeves). I tried asking for an explanation but it appeared to not be their fault. I have taken these same exact shirts 2-3 times and never had an issue until recently. These are Buttercloth shirts that cost me a lot of money. So, I reached out to the company to get a further explanation and here is what they had to say: "Thank you for reaching out to your support team! We are so sorry to hear about the condition in which your shirt is currently in. You should be able to take your shirt to the dry cleaners anytime. However, they should always check the inside tag of the shirt which recommends to not use the STEAM TENSION MACHINE as it does cause stretching. The only reason the fabric will stretch will be if they used this particular machine. Normally, the shirts would shrink due to the heat, not stretch. Hope this was helpful!" Be cautious when taking your clothing for dry cleaning here. They will not take any responsibility. It's difficult to trust them again. read more

Pros: Great Service, Good Turnaround Cons: Pricey ($60 for 6 pieces of clothing: 2 dresses, a suit, two dress shirts, one tie) I don't mind the prices, but they're twice as high as I used to pay. I needed a dress hemmed and of course because I've been on vacation and working I had put it off I needed to be turned around within five days. I had called because my original woman was fully booked and so I turned to yelp to see who the next best option might be. I came in as I was across the street they had a changing room and then we began the alteration process. They were very thorough and explained to me how it would look from all angles! I showed up as who i'm assuming is the owner put up a sign saying they'll be back in 30 minutes. After doing extensive research, I've decided to take my jumpsuit to Complete Cleaners to be taken in and hemmed. All I can say is that I'm glad I chose this place because not only are the staff friendly, but they also did an amazing job with my jumpsuit. They also made sure to inform me what will happen if I get my jumpsuit taken in (the pockets will get smaller). But even after it was altered, I'm still able to fit my hands in the pockets. My jumpsuit was ready to be picked up by the date said (it took a week). The only thing I'd have to say that is negative is that I set an appointment for 12pm and I arrived 15 minutes earlier but they were closed and didn't open til 10-15 minutes after 12pm but it happens.
