Stains conveniently only in the area she was working.

The lady stained my pants and refuses to own up to it. I took BRAND NEW pants in to be hemmed and they RUINED my pants and won't tell me what they got on it so I can even try to wash it out. She offered to dry clean (but not in time for me to wear them on my first day of my new job) but I've never known dry cleaning to get stains out. Ever. And if she thought it would why not just do it before you return them to me? I will be taking them to small claims court. ZERO STARS!!!!!

I asked for top of my shoe length. Ps this is after the seam ripped out on left side..but still.

In short - I did not have the best experience with this cleaners, and I doubt I will use their services again. I wanted my pant length measured before asking for hemming. I arrived and the older Asian gentleman acknowledged me but then went back to a dress fitting. I took a seat. Come to find out this woman is fitting a small rack of dresses (!)maybe 4 or so. I only notice this after about 10 mins of waiting. I was mildly annoyed he didnt notify me to say, come back in 30 mins or etc. He measured me,gave me a return time of 3 days, no problem. The price was decent, perhaps slightly high. I tried on my jeans, hem was just right. I tried on my bellbottoms and they seemed long but I hoped with shoes it would be ok. I went out to the event that I bought the bellbottoms for and I kept tripping. The most embarrassing part was when I tripped on my shoe and the hem came out with a loud RIP! Gosh. In summary his meadusement for my bellbottom pants were much too long and I dont know how it could go so wrong (see pics). I dont even want to go back for a correction.

It was very challenging to clean due to the special material it was made of. The owner was very attentive and patient explaining everything to me and inspecting the jacket. As first-time customers, we decided to trust Green Leaf Cleaners because the owner was very confident and experienced in his work. We disclosed that the comforter required delicate care, as it was made with silk, to which he stated he handles delicate materials all the time. To our surprise, after we had picked up the item and brought it home, we inspected three holes about one inch long on certain areas of the cover where there were "flowers" stitched on, as well as several smaller sized holes. I understand that as a business owner, you must protect yourself by not admitting fault when we brought to your attention that your machines may have caused damage to our item. We could have demanded the current market value of the comforter as compensation, which is $500, but chose not to. Instead of taking accountability, you denied our allegations and instead offered to repair the holes as a "courtesy" because we showed up as first-time customers, as if you were doing us a favor. With our intention of showing you the damage, not only the big holes but also the smaller-sized ones, you portrayed a negative attitude by chuckling and shaking your head when we were pointing out the small holes. With that behavior, we believed that we couldn't entrust you to repair our comforter anymore. We appreciate that in the end you agreed to give us a partial refund of $50. However, you first said that (1) you didn't have cash and (2) you needed to contact the credit card company to issue the refund, as you didn't know how to, therefore asking us to return in a day or two. We asked for it in writing for reassurance. I suppose you didn't like the idea because you ended up handing us $50 in cash. I have respect for what you do as a small business owner, working tirelessly on so many items every day. It's not easy work, and I can tell you take pride in what you do. However, I suggest that you work on your integrity and take personal responsibility, having money-back guaranteed policies for your business, and most importantly evaluating your empathy and customer service. To customers out there: take pictures of your item before you bring it to this business, and be prepared that they will only partially compensate if your item incurs damages.

Note, the alterations…read morespecialist comes 1x a week--every Tuesday so if you're tight on time, this may not work for you. I came last Tuesday wanting to get my ski pants hemmed as they are too long. I had bought these pants on Amazon for less than $30. The lady looked at my ski pants and told me that it will be $20 because there's 2 layers to hem. If it was a normal pair of pants or jeans, it would be $10. I thought, fair enough, I'll pay $20. On my way home I was thinking, the alterations cost nearly as much as the pant itself and wished I was taller so I didn't always have to get all my pants hemmed. Fast forward to today when I picked them up. The same lady who examined my pants told me that I will have to pay an extra $10 because the alterations specialist spent a lot of time working on my ski pants and broke a few needles. At this point, I was a little irritated. I get that it took longer to do than normal pants but you already charged me DOUBLE for these pants because it had two layers. But to try to pull a fast one after the fact and tack on an additional $10 is not cool. So. Not. Ok. I told the lady, "no, I'm not ok with paying an additional $10 when you already charged more from the onset. If I you want me to pay more, then I don't want the pants" and I proceeded to walk out. I was really ok and ready to leave those pants. In my mind, I was not going to be taken advantage of nor was I willing to pay just as much to hem the pants then to just buy it outright. As I was leaving, she said, "OK, OK, but no more next time!" and gave the pants to me. There's one thing we agree on, there won't be a next time.

Not the same place it used to be…read more I came here years ago when they first opened--probably over a decade ago--and they were great back then. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. I recently dropped off a blazer for two things: 1. Sleeve and collar repairs (to fix broken stitching) 2. Dry cleaning They called me to clarify the alterations and said they could fix the sleeve, but the seamstress "doesn't like to do collar work." That should've been my red flag, but I let them go ahead with the sleeve. When I came to pick it up, I pointed out that the stitching looked awful--completely unprofessional. It was a sloppy hand stitch, and they claimed it was "reinforced." I've included a photo so you can judge for yourself: the left side shows the original factory stitching and the right side is their work. Not even close. I was quoted $18 but charged $15, so I assumed they at least did the dry cleaning and maybe knocked a few bucks off. But when I got it home, it still looked dirty. I called to ask if it had even been cleaned, and that's when they told me the ticket only said alterations. That was never the agreement--I was clear when I dropped it off that I wanted both. In the end, I paid $15 for work that now needs to be redone, and I still need to get it dry cleaned somewhere else. I let them know I'd be writing a review because this was frustrating, disappointing, and just not worth it. It's a shame because they used to be better. I won't be back. _________ Let me clarify a few things in response to Eric's reply: First, price was never the issue. When I dropped off the blazer, I was given an estimate for both the collar and sleeve repair. I was told the collar might not be worth fixing due to cost, and that the seamstress would need to confirm pricing. I never declined the service to "avoid the cost," nor did I say I'd fix it myself--I was waiting for a quote that never came. Second, there was no hole in the armpit area. There were two areas in the collar that needed repair, and loose stitching on the sleeve that needed reinforcing. These were clearly pointed out during drop-off. Third, I didn't ask for a discount. I voiced my concern about the quality of the sleeve repair when I picked it up--it was poorly hand-stitched and clearly not professional. The employee then went to the back, made a phone call, and returned to charge me $15. That price reduction was your team's decision--not mine. I also requested dry cleaning when I dropped the blazer off. That part of my request was ignored. When I called to ask about it, I was told the ticket only said "alterations." So somewhere between drop-off, alterations, and pick-up, there was clearly a breakdown in communication--either between the front desk, the seamstress, or management. And for the record, I didn't "threaten" a bad review. I said I would be writing an honest one, and I did. The photos I posted clearly show that the stitching was not done to a professional standard. That's not an opinion--it's visible. Instead of trying to discredit my experience or twist the facts, I suggest taking this feedback seriously. I was a returning customer from years ago and gave your business a chance. But this visit was disappointing and frustrating. The defensiveness in your response only confirms how little accountability you're willing to take.

They offered me $10 credit which felt like I am not valued here. I love to support local business so this was really disappointing. It was a brand new skirt I brought in and never got the chance to wear it. Up until this point all the work had been excellent and it is close to my home so I am disappointed to have to find another place to go to. I went in with good faith to explore options in restoring trust with the business relationship because I wanted to continue coming here. I didn't ask for a refund. I didn't ask for cash back. I asked for a credit or gift card on my account for some amount. Eric the manager (and maybe owner) said all he could do was $10 because "the skirt is still wearable and the damage is not noticeable." He said if he gave me $50 then he would own the skirt. I took the skirt back in on 1/21 because I noticed the damage on 1/20. The young man behind the counter said a manager would call me. I called on 1/27 to follow up because I had not heard anything. I spoke to the woman who handles the dry cleaning directly and she was very rude. She told me she cleaned it herself and used those pins. She told me I was the only one who ever complained which looking at the reviews is not true. I told her I was just following up because I had not heard anything from them. I asked when the manager would be in so I could go in and speak to them since that was what they said were next steps. I went on 1/30 and had the interaction with Eric. When he returned the skirt to me it was in a pants clip hanger and not safety pinned which I'm not sure why it was not originally handled this way. I was never offered an apology. Instead I was patronized and mocked. Unfortunately throughout this process I felt belittled and disrespected. It felt really bad. I won't be coming here again. Updating this review because the owner replied: there is not a consistent policy because when I went in Eric said "I can do 5 percent" and then said "okay 10 percent". "Okay so what would you like". So there does not seem to be a policy that is consistent with everyone since he was making it up and changing on the spot. Even in their reply on yelp and google no apology or accountability was provided. A $20-$25 credit to someone's account would come out to 1-2 free items to be cleaned. Which for someone like me who spends $75-$225 every time I come here felt reasonable.

Got one set back with stains still on the garment but assumed it might just not be removable. Idk figured it was worth giving the benefit of the doubt since the staff seemed nice and capable. I should've been more diligent in checking the clothes the next time before I left but the recent set of clothes I picked up I inspected when I got home and looked untouched, in their original state and then I noticed the tag reading "needs sewing" was still on my dress strapped and unfixed. It wouldn't be that annoying since it really is my own fault but I gave the woman an extra week to fix it after she told me she was unable to do it in the original allotted time. I really should've checked in store before I left so it's mostly on me and they were a nice enough staff, just be careful before you pay. Either way, I paid full price for all of this and it wasn't cheap so I'm annoyed since I'll have to pay for them again to get done somewhere else properly.
