I like it here. Clothes are ready in at least two days which is very efficient and satisfying to my needs.

My previous review was based on 2 visits that were awesome. Apparently consistency isn't their thing. The first two times I came here it was problem free, quick and "cheap". only 3 weeks later the same pressing service is almost twice as much as the it was the last 2 times. Highly disappointed with my recent transaction, I went into pick up items from dry cleaning here for my MIL today. Before picking up they informed her of an overcharged item which would be refunded, weird but ok fine. My MIL turned in some of her clothing, shirts and pants, as well as a men's full suit including the jacket, shirt, vest, and pants to be dry cleaned. I picked up the items and came home to check and we find a pair of pants missing. My MIL went back to try and sort things out, and they are not taking accountability of the missing pants. Claiming she may have counted wrong, normally something so trivial wouldn't matter but the fact that these were tailored $200 pants is really bothersome. She came back very upset and it's highly disappointing to hear the level of service she received today considering has she been going to this dry cleaners for over 20 years. read more

I took 2 dresses and 1 shirt for alterations they stated they would send it to their tailor on Hesperian i paid 56.00 i also paid for cleaning for 2 dress shirts n 1 pair of white pants as i advised them i was leaving to miami and need these to be done when i came to pick up my clothes thank god i check as nothing was done to my clothes the pins were still in them to show the tailor what needed to be repaired in addition the white pants had a pink stain and the shirts collars were still dirty i was shocked and the male representative has no customer service or problem skills and basically said i will refund for the tailor but the dry cleaning is not guaranteed needless to say Hayward lost another customer as i will be going to San Leandro where i pay a little more but they r professionals and know how to treat their customers good luck Dollar Cleaners u will need it !! read more

Worst unprofessional, aggressive, short guy who works there. I brought in my clothes to dry clean. Told me will take 1 week, lost 1 item and kept saying it is not their fault and stuff happens. Seriously, anything that happens inside of the business is the responsibility of the owner and any employee of that business. A week later, all clothes unclean, damp, missing item and an aggressive little man yelling and being condescending didn't help the matter. I thought I had finally found an affordable convenient dry cleaner. The staff was friendly, clothes were ready on time and the price was reasonable. I told them I will be back on my way out of the door. Everything was perfect until I got home and took a look at my clothes. I didn't check when I was there because I'm not a picky person and have never had an issue with dry cleaning in the past that was big enough to complain about. An expensive cream colored blazer that had a single pen mark on it looked like they took a big dirty rag and rubbed it. It came back to me with a large brown spot surrounding the pen mark. Much worse than having a pen mark. The other issue was that my new dress came back missing a button and I wasn't able to wear it. I really wanted this to be my new cleaners but after this experience I don't think I can go back. read more

They handle most of the uniforms from the local middle school choir and have gone above and beyond to make sure they were done on time, even during their lunch break I was able to pick up cause they knew how important the garments had to be on time. They were very helpful when I was submitting my clothes for dry cleaning. 1 of the jackets, they recommended it not be dry clean as the material will flake off and ruin it. I'm glad they told me beforehand instead of just taking in everything so they can make the most money. Never again!!! Clothes weren't ready when they it would be. When I came a second time to pick up, the doors were locked in the middle of the day. They took 3 pairs of clothing for alterations and only returned 2. When I asked them about it, They claimed it was only 2 and refused to refund me.... Terrible customer service. Prices are average and clothes are done when they say they will be. But their quality and customer service is lacking. Staff is always rude and rather lazy. Never get a smile from them and hardly any positive response. I had a polyester top with an oil stain, forewarned them about it but after charging me full price they "couldn't" get it out. Looked it up online...baking soda did the trick but yet they couldn't figure it out? Called in this Saturday asking about hrs. Was told they were opened until 5pm but lunch was 2-230pm. Said I would be in by 150pm for pick up. They said okay, they would be there....came at 152pm and doors were locked. Called in and women was in there, could see her and she refused to let me pick up my items. Told her how I was told this time was okay but she did not care and blamed her coworker saying she allowed to go early and I had to wait until 230pm. "No frillz" cleaner, "no frillz" customer service but they did a good job for pennies on the dollar ($2.50 per garment). Dry cleaning not done on site to keep costs low which is smart but don't expect any "same day" service. I probably wouldn't bring my ridiculously expensive suits here but it'll do the job for my H&M/I.N.C. grade attire. You know what they say, "you get what you pay for!" so be cautious. The reason for the bad ratings is because all I noticed they did was press on the ties to make it seem they were cleaned, other than that they still were stained. Will try another place next time. I've been coming here for quite awhile now. My old dry cleaners that I will not name had major problems with their equipment years ago so as luck would have it I found this Dollar cleaners store in Hayward. First of all, I spend waaaay less for my shirts and slacks to be cleaned than before. Everything has ALWAYS come back from cleaning in excellent condition. Lastly, the manager Melanie is awesome. Has helped me out more times than I can count (like the tip that it is best NOT to have your corduroys creased as it will mess up the material). My clothes are always ready before I need them but it is now almost part of my weekly routine to drop in on Saturday and either pick up or drop off and say hi to my good bud Melanie. Cleaning is done well and pricing is average. Though I've noticed darker colors I've brought here having been faded pretty noticably. Biggest deterrent was the when one of the workers here was super unprofessional and directed a pretty nasty remark at another customer after they'd left; won't be returning on that basis alone. read more
