Scrapple, egg, and cheese on a long roll
    Mike S.

I've been meaning to go here since a friend told me they do breakfast sandwiches on a long roll. I got a Scrapple, Egg, and Cheese. It was great. The scrapple was nice and crispy which I prefer. Plus, the sandwich was a beast. You could easily eat half and be good to go (depending on your hunger level). After a long night, this is the perfect sandwich to get moving again. It's easy to miss this spot because it's located at a gas station, but don't let that fool you. If you like breakfast sandwiches, I'd definitely recommend checking this spot out. They also have a full menu of items (cheesesteaks, hoagies, quesadillas, etc). I think I'll venture back at some point and try some other things on the menu.

The best cheesesteak and sweet potatoe fries around.

WOW WOW WOW! The food is amazing! Right when I walked in the front cashier greeted me. The deli in the back was super friendly and fast! I think this is my go to new stop after work or lunch.

Loved the cheesesteak! Can't wait to get again. My first time being a customer, but certainly not my last.

The woman who took my order told me all about them and asked if I wanted to add one to my order. I told her no, but I would definitely be ordering one to go. With that said, here is our experience. My pastrami sandwich was very good. The rye bread was good, but the crust was very hard and I could not bite throught it. My mom did not care for her corned beef sandwich and said the meat had a decent flavor, but was cut too thick. She also could not bite the bread's crust. Our latkes were tasty and you can't go wrong with Dr. Brown's cherry soda! Now, the disappointing part. I ordered take-out, one small chicken matzah ball soup and one potato knish. I ordered with the same woman who raved about their kinish and guess what, she forgot to include the kinish in my bag. She brought the take-out bag to our table and assured me everything was there. I asked if the kinish was there, to which she said, "yes, as is the soup". Drove home over 30 minutes and no kinish. When I called them, the woman who took my order and packed the bag said, "Oh". Yes, she credited my card, but still....I was so looking forward to that kinish. If you're used to NYC deli, this is not it, but it is decent.

I had sides on my order as I ordered online and they were on receipt but not in bag. Bread on so- called "South Philly pork" hoagie was drenched in oil and mayo which were 2 of the sides I requested(I went back in after checking bag in car for them). Potato salad had uncooked potatoes mostly and no seasoning recognizable to taste and hard as my head. I threw out. Will definitely not recommend this location to anyone. Hardly any oregano and there was no blk pepper as online description described included for this hoagie(Nellie) The young lady handing out pick up orders seemed confused and hurried but was very pleasant and accommodating once I returned for my sides. And I arrived on time prior to noon! Whoever made my sandwich needs to learn how to make them better. Yes it was clean and a nice looking location. I had not been to this one in few years actually thought about somewhere else but thought "Why not try Primo today for lunch?" I will NOT be returning. We were seated and our server, Joanne gave us a quick rundown on the menu. She was very attentive and personable. Our party of four ordered the pork sandwich, the shrimp BLT, deviled eggs, the pepperoni flat bread, the meatball skillet, shrimp cocktail and French onion soup. The sandwiches were excellent and were served with perfectly cooked shoestring fries. The soup was great - plenty of cheese & bread topping delicious broth & caramelized onions. Joanne was correct when she told us the shrimp cocktail was "elevated". The grilled shrimp were marinated and perfectly seasoned. The flatbread was good, topped with a drizzle of hot honey. The deviled eggs were yummy but I would rather the bacon on top didn't have a maple flavor to it. The meatball skillet was served with toasted bread slices, hearty marinara and dollops of ricotta. The meatballs were a little dry but we enjoyed it anyway. We will definitely plan on coming back to The Fort to try new items and for another pork sandwich. Great spot!
