The framing around the fireplace unit needed to be improved, nothing was quite level or straight, and there was some existing trim that was bowed and not positioned correctly. Tomasz improved the framing, installed the tile perfectly flat and straight, and adjusted the trim to fit correctly with the new tile. We are very happy with our new fireplace. Also the price was less than another installer's estimate.

Their work is amazing. After all the wood was replaced and painted, it looked like the original woodwork of the house. The painting was extremely detailed and of the highest quality. Z always kept us informed of what was going on and gave excellent advice. He is excellent at spotting things in the construction that I would have missed. For example, after the roof was installed, he inspected it and had the roofer come back and make a change to one of the panels - I would have missed that. Z's staff are great. We worked with Alex and his team for four months on a number of remodel and renovation projects,…read moreincluding a full kitchen remodel that transformed a closed-off, dark space into a stunning, light-filled, open area. He also completed two bathroom remodels, relocated water heaters, and navigated structural challenges with what felt like magical skill--consistently problem-solving and finding solutions that were both functional, beautiful and to code. Throughout the entire process, Alex and his team were an absolute joy to have around. After hearing so many contractor horror stories, we feel incredibly lucky to have found someone like Alex. He's the real deal. His craftsmanship is top-notch, and in the rare case something is outside his expertise, he has a network of highly skilled professionals across the Bay Area to call on. One of the things that really set Alex apart was how budget-conscious he was. Not only was his pricing much more affordable than other contractors we spoke with, but he also helped us find the best deals on high-quality materials--thanks to his many years in the business and strong industry connections. We felt like he was always looking out for our best interests. Alex is not only extraordinarily talented, but also kind, respectful, funny, and genuinely pleasant to be around. He's one in a million. We can't recommend him highly enough.

This has been a complete nightmare. At the beginning of October Alex replaced the counters in my…read moresmall kitchen. We had many discussions about the kind of counter I wanted including that it should be heat and stain resistant. He assured me in writing that the counters he was acquiring for me were just that. he quoted me and I paid him $5000 to install the counters which took him about two and a half days. He left all the debris from the old counters in my front yard (even though he assured me he would remove them the day after the work was done where it sat for two weeks before I paid to have it removed. After three weeks I started to notice stains appearing on the counters (which were not from any specific food or liquid) which would not go away no matter what I used to clean them. I let Alex know and it took him quite a while to come and look and he told me this has never happened before and he would talk to the supplier. We are now into the fourth month of me attempting to get him to take care of this and he is currently ignoring all my messages and not taking care of it. He said that the supplier are saying it's not their fault and he is telling me that it's not his fault purely because he has installed dozens of these counters over the years and this has never happened and because of that he refuses to take responsibility. I highly recommend NOT using this person for your renovations no matter how many other good reviews he has because at the end of the day he is not honorable and takes no responsibility for poor workmanship - of which there is plenty as shown in the photos. This was a lot of money for the size and scope of work and I paid him because he came highly recommended and I assumed he would do a good job. My main gripe is that he has pretty much ignored me for the most part and does not stand by the work he does. Happy to share all the correspondence between us with anyone who is considering using him so you can see how poorly he has behaved and save yourself a big headache.

So happy we found Edri Construction to do a few major exterior repairs on our house. I'd met with…read moretwo other companies prior to contacting Edri--one declined the job, and another ghosted me. I left either a voicemail or a message on Edri's website (can't remember) and they called me back the same day and our Project Manager, Isaac, came out soon thereafter to check things out and start the estimate process. Isaac gave me the estimate exactly when he said they would, and at this point I had a feeling we would be in good hands because the communication and follow-up were all on point. Our house needed new fascia and soffits and a new balcony cap, and after seeing a few houses with natural wood soffits, I wanted to change the plan from matching the existing painted soffits. This was no problem for Edri and they helped select a beautiful cedar wood and brought the vision to life. The work went pretty much as planned with some minor delays for expected things--weather, etc. No nightmares where the work gets behind and you have no idea when it will be done. Communication was so great and everyone who worked on our house was professional and friendly. They even arranged to take their lunch breaks when our kid had her nap. Isaac would come out at the end of major milestones to inspect the work with me and make sure I was happy. Minor issues I found were addressed with no hassle. We were so happy working with Isaac and the crew that we asked them if they could add on several additional projects, which they happily did. The quality of the work is very good, and we have gotten compliments from many neighbors. I could not be happier with how it turned out myself. Thank you, Isaac and crew!

I would consider this a challenging project as we had limited space to work with and wanted to build in more counter/cabinet space while also adding in a dishwasher and replacing other appliances. This required new electrical and plumbing. The team was unfazed by the scope and was ready to start following week. From the outset, the process was highly organized making decisions simple and hands-off as possible for us. They immediately sought out all required permits while keeping us informed on the important details only and handling all the permitting minutia themselves. David and his team completed every aspect of the job with pride and precision. The team were true masters in their trades and completed all parts of the job from plumbing electrical drywall appliance installation tiling - everything from start to finish. They were also friendly and took extreme care to protect all common areas. The kitchen came out great with any instance where we had a follow up adjustment, they always took the time to fix it until we were happy. Communication was outstanding. On top of everything else, each interaction with this company was an absolute pleasure. Everyone who worked on our kitchen obviously took tremendous pride in their work from demolition to completion. We Would highly recommend Edri Constucion for a top-notch kitchen remodel.
