After reviewing the reviews, I've decided on Pablo's General Remodeling. Alfredo's quote was okay. The only issue is that when I asked for a contract, he did it on the text which was questionable. On my first inspection, his crew were there promptly demolishing the old cabinets and installing the new ones. It looks nice and I was okay with it. However, my tenant told me they're missing a drawer as the old one had. I contacted Alfredo and he had ordered another set. His employee cut out the false drawer (fake one) and managed to make it into an operational one. I feel his people should have painted the gap (between the old cabinets and the new ones). read more

He arrived on time for our initial meeting and we were able to discuss, in detail, the needs of the project, which he readily understood. He painted all of our interior walls and baseboards perfectly within 2 days! It was amazing how quickly the two of them worked. Then we wanted our floors changed. He recommended we layer the new plank on top of the previous floor and suggested we removed the tiles in the kitchen before laying the new floors. We had a water restoration company cut open the dry wall in the lower level of our home to investigate potential water damage to our wood framing from the atmospheric rivers. However, the cost of repairing the dry wall and painting the wall was not competitive. We decided to get another quote. Pablo was able to give us the best deal and was able to start the project quickly. He was very attentive and communicative throughout the whole project. Pablo and his crew, David and Rudolfo, install new dry wall and insulation in a few hours on day #1. On day #2, they sanded down the dry wall and painted the entire lower level of our home with the color and brand of paint that we chose. They even painted our cabinets without asking for additional cost. They made sure to lay down drip paper to protect our brand new luxury vinyl floors from paint. I thank my lucky stars I found Pablo. I had a property which was designed very poorly. The previous homeowner constructed a loft without permit in the living room which had a janky ladder leading up to it. It had to be taken down, and the walls restored to its former glory. It was a pretty big project that should only be undertaken by experienced people. I saw in the Yelp photos that Pablo had constructed a loft before, so I figured he would know how to dismantle one. He was able to do the whole project, repairs the walls, as well as install 6 recessed lights and move an attic access to a different room in only 5 days. The final result was that the living room looked amazing. He had a reasonable price, his work was of the highest quality and very professionally done, and he cleaned the house sparkling clean afterwards. My house was in safe hands. He may look young, but, his work is top notch, and I've worked with other contractors before. Better than the other contractors I've worked with before.
