Eh, I usually don't review restaurant chains but I've never been to or heard of Drakes. You going to get what you expect out of these big chain restaurants. Loud overstimulating environment, semi affordable prices, a million TVs and a slightly below average burger choice. Just wish Murfreesboro added some diversity in what it has to offer besides another large chain restaurant. Nothing against Drakes but there is a lot better options for foodies in the area. Great place to watch football though. read more

What an amazing experience! Our waitress was amazing. The food came out fast and my husband and I split a salad and I still couldn't eat it all!! We will be back very often. read more

Based on the awful quality of our take-out order a few days ago, Drakes desperately needs to improve its offerings! We ordered the Quesadilla, which was overcooked and quite dry, even uneatable. Frankly, less than half of it was consumable; we resorted to scavenging our refrigerator to replace the late-night meal. In addition, we bought the Chicken Asada Tacos, which was even worse. The tortilla shells were hard, seemingly microwaved, which rendered them brittle and absolutely uneatable as well. Buyer beware if you anticipate that the order comes with grilled onions and peppers; there were a few overcooked peppers and one or two pieces of onion included. To make matters even worse, the included guacamole was practically black, while the chicken was dried out and extremely salty. Sadly, all of the lettuce included had been frozen, consequently unusable too. I tried to salvage the meal by discarding the wraps and chopping up the nasty chicken to eat with chips that we had at home. Overall, we are hard-pressed to provide the "meh" rating! Regretfully the meal fell real short of the $34.10 costs. read more

Busy and loud but service is friendly and efficient. Enjoyed our Saturday night dinner here recently. Wait time can be long but they do a great job on keeping tables full and have a great system you can view on your phone to see when you'll be seated. We had salads and burgers which were good. The only complaint would be that all the fries were cold. We will be back next time we are looking for a causal meal. read more

First time eating here and place is new and upscale. 20 minute wait for table so we decided to eat at bar and service was prompt. Nice menu lots of selections and good tap selections for beer. Only reason I downgraded to 3 stars was the build your own servings If I am paying 20 bucks for fish or chicken tacos I don't expect to have build your own taco.Someone may think this is a good idea probably a corporate moron. Plate came with tortillas meat veggies and toppings and the customer is left to put together their own tacos. Again not what I expected when ordering. Daughter got chicken sliders and had to put ingredients on her sandwich. Not a good concept. Will probably come back to try a burger which I hope is served with everything already on it. read more

I have tried this place a few times and it's been not a great experience. If it's not the terrible taste in the food then it's the Poor service that you receive. This evening just reminded me why I will not be returning. read more

Food was delicious! Drinks meh ok. It was very busy but doable no long wait times for food. Service was good. Very crowded on a Friday evening . read more

Tried Drake's today for lunch and it was all around great. We ordered the boneless buffalo wings, All American sliders with tots and my hubby had the buffalo chicken wrap with tots. Our server was very attentive even though the place was PACKED. The food came out on time and there was a minor hiccup but they got it worked out. It's only been open for two weeks, a bit overstaffed with trainers, once they get through training this is going to be probably the best spot in the Boro for good food and to watch a game. Lots of large flat screen TVs, very kid friendly, big/diverse menu, can't wait to try the sushi next time. Looks like a fun, modern sports bar inside, good for any occasion with an outdoor patio. Loads of parking read more

Crab Rangoon Roll, blackened chicken quesadilla was awesome. My wife got the Buffalo Gouda Mac and loved it. We have been twice since it opened. We tried to go last night at 6 again but the wait was long. Sitting at the bar was nice with the TVs and the garage doors open. read more

Drakes Murfreesboro has awesome atmosphere. We sit at the bar. Food is great. Bartenders solid. Jeff is awesome at the bar. Great conversation! Managers are attentive. Great place. read more

Very good food but don't come here if you are hungry and ready to eat because it takes double, maybe triple the amount of time to get the food brought out compared to any other restaurant around here. read more

I'll start off by saying the food was good. My daughter said the sushi was *almost* as good as Rock N Roll sushi. But the food was not good enough to make up for the lack of service. They were busy so probably sat at least 5 maybe 10 minutes before our server greeted us. Our drinks ran out several times. Our food got dropped on the floor so half of us got to eat and the other half had to wait. I get it, accidents happen, but it's all about how it's handled. I would have expected a quick turn around to replace the food but it was 10-15 minutes before I got my food and everyone at the table was done eating by that point. I waited to see if the staff would do anything about it but they didn't. They did apologize but in my opinion didn't do anything to make up for it. Also, the food barely got cleaned up and my daughter stepped in the sauce when we got up from the table. read more

The employees were friendly and helpful! It was my first visit. I got the jalapeño cream cheese sliders with sweet potato fries. So good! Definitely going back with family. read more

I was at your restaurant last night. Service was not the best cause we did not have a regular server because we were in the bar area and she was also making bar at the same time. It wasn't able to do both at the same time and I think you might need to look at that idea when it's not super busy on a Monday night. read more

Love the food and the service is always wonderful. Love to go on Football days. Such a great environment.

It was fine. Nothing special besides the pure variety of items. But the food itself was just what you might expect from a sports bar that's trying to do too much. read more

If you have time to waste and looking for bad food this is the place to eat! My family and I were so disappointed on the service. We waited forever for the food. After waiting 45 minutes, someone came from the kitchen and told us the food the fixed didn't look good so they fixed it over again. We were served our meal, but never seen or heard from our waiter. My husband had to hunt for someone so we could pay our bill. The checks were a mess. After a hour and half we were left with a bad taste in our mouth, poor service and bad food. I won't recommend this restaurant! read more

I saw on Murfreesboro Pulse the grand opening of Drake's in Murfreesboro and decided to check them out. We are a transplant from California and Washington DC area. We have had "local" recommendations of restaurants and unfortunately it has been a disappointment! I saw that Drake's has sushi on their menu. I had to try it. I am Asian born and a sushi snob. Well... let me just give you our experience. First the place was packed!!! We were already bracing for at least an hour wait time. To our surprise it was ONLY a 5 minute wait! They must have figured out the crowd influx, very impressive. Ok so the wait time was impressive. How was the service? And food? We were sat down the the hostess was very pleasant. Our server, Brian, greeted us with great energy, although we can see and tell by the crowd, they have been hammered. He still gave us the level of customer service that was to be noted. He took time, gave us recommendations, and did it all with a smile. Impressive! We ordered appetizer (pretzels), drinks, and our entrees. Pretzels were Devine! Along with the dips. My husband ordered the mini sliders, he doesn't use "tasty" loosely, but he sure did used it with the sliders. He wasn't too impressed with the Mac-n-cheese but said it was "ok". I had the Tuna Stacker. And for a restaurant chain...I'm very impressed with the freshness of the tuna, the mango was perfectly ripe, and the sushi rice fresh. I will HIGHLY recommend the sushi here at Drake's. We were recommended Wako restaurant and let me tell you... I will go to Drake's to get my sushi!!! Our goddaughter ordered sushi as well and yes, everything was fresh, not like at Wako's sushi that you couldn't tell the difference if it was the sushi from the gas station or the grocery store. Well done Drake's! You have become one of my favorite "chain" restaurants in Middle Tennessee! If I were to critique anything it would be the music, a bit too loud for our taste. But the music choice was great as well! read more

The food is just OK nothing spectacular but consistent. Most of the service people I have met have been friendly outgoing easy to talk to and courteous and always welcoming to get your order right the first time the audience is clean. Bathrooms are clean. A little pricey, but they make up for it for cheap alcoholic drinks. Give it a four star review. read more

Lucas is amazing!! Best server/ bartender I've had in a while. Food was amazing but the hospitality was even better

This was our second time dining - initially, it was easily 4.5/5 stars. We were seated right away, our server was great, the manager came over to check in and found out it was our first time, and toward the end of our meal he brought us over a cookie dessert topped with ice cream and said he hoped our first time was great and that we'd return! So we did - however the following experience was subpar. The hostess was real dry and definitely didn't scream "welcome". We were eventually seated and greeted by our server, whom didn't have any recommendations at all. We asked a generalized question about the beer and he stated "to be honest, I don't know because they rotate the menu so often." When we went to order our food, we asked for recommendations and both food items we inquired about he "didn't know" about. The food overall was sloppy and not nearly up to par with flavor as the first experience. The club sandwich was extremely messy, with way too much sauce to where it made the toasted bread soggy and fall apart. The chicken tacos were dry, and you have to put them together yourself. The ambiance of the place is a typical bar setting, loud with lots of people and a handful of TVs. Overall, due to our second experience, we're going to think twice about returning. read more

Food. Service. Ambiance. Great place to watch your favorite sport team. The atmosphere is very relaxing.

It looks like it would have good food but it had food that would be at any other restaurant. It was also just a huge bar, that probably why there was only ONE OTHER FAMILY WITH CHILDREN! Right in front of it is a place called Firebirds and it really good. It had a half rack of RIBS on the kids menu. But Any ways Drakes isn't that good. read more

Had a great time! Was sotting at the bar last night by myself. Brayden absolutely made my night! He was fantastic!

premium pricing for so-so food. burger portions are very good. Wwwaaaaay over salted. Hey management please leave the salting of one's food up to that person. For the prices we pay we should at least be able to season our own food to our taste. read more

The sushi here is TOP tier!! I highly recommend the dynamite shrimp roll. Great service and beautiful ambience

Ordered - buffalo chicken wrap and fries! It was so good! No complaints Will definitely be back. Only had only small issue, ordered Togo and somehow they lost my order when I pulled up they realized it pretty quickly, offered a free app for the mishap. They gave me the pretzels not something I would have normally ordered which is fine bc it was free but I was shocked because they were delish!! Will be my go to app from now on. read more

This place is like a knock off Applebee's with Kroger sushi. Murfreesboro did not need another sports bar with subpar food. Service was slow, but the server was sweet. This is not good enough to last in murfreesboro. What a shame, it sounded like it had potential. read more

It was horrible. What is shown on the menu looks nothing whats on the plate. Mixes of different condiments mixed in each other.
