Called the company at a little before 1:47PM and asked about having someone come out to look at our clogged toilet. I was told by the person on the line that he could have someone out there within an hour, and to text him my address. After texting my address, I sent a follow-up (within minutes) to also have the person call my phone when they arrive as my doorbell was not working. Unfortunately I did not hear a response until closer to 3:30PM (and well past the one hour window he told me about). I asked at 4:12PM if there was an ETA, and after not hearing back I requested to cancel the appointment at 4:26PM,m at which point there was an immediate response. The problem that I have with this is the lack of communication; if he couldn't have someone out there within an hour, why not provide me with a more accurate timeframe? If someone was on the way but the job ran long, there was something unforeseen, a message would have been appreciated. As it stands, the quick response to my cancellation shows he didn't want/feel the need to be communicative regarding the time. read more

I am very grateful to Ali and his crew for saving the day. We noticed our toilets were backing up. We figured it may have used too much paper and it clogged the toilets. It is an old house so didn't seem too scary. We called a few plumbing companies to get quotes on snaking the pipes. Turns out it isn't affordable. We just bought the house and have a baby on the way so you can imagine we really cared about finding value and fair prices. When we reached Ali we felt relieved. Ali was very helpful. He worked with us on the price and showed up pretty quickly. Before he entered the house he asked me, is the sewer in the back of your house? I said yes. He said, ok. I know what it is. I was skeptical of course. He went to his truck to grab his equipment to snake the pipes. Before he put the camera down the pipe he explained exactly what I would see. He said I would see roots from the trees in the ground breaking the pipe and that more than likely the pipe in the backyard going out to the sewer would need replacement as it is a 40 year old house and he knew the pipe had never been replaced or serviced. He wasn't kidding. We saw the camera together and it felt like a play by play. Roots were inside the pipe. Now came an even scarier part, learning the cost of replacing the pipe. Again, Ali, play by play. He told me exactly what other companies would quote me and how low they would go. He explained why they would not go lower and the tactic they would use to scare me into a deal. Then he gave me his quote, guaranteed his work, worked with me on the price and payments. Of course, like any homeowner, I still shopped around to 4 different companies to get a quote on the work needed. Again, Ali wasn't kidding, the 4 companies my wife and I called were more expensive. Even when the competitor said he was giving me a great deal, it was still higher than Ali. Once we hired Ali, his team went to work right away. Within 4 days work was done. His team was courteous, polite, and caring. This meant a lot to me and my wife. Especially with a baby on the way. They kept us posted as the work progressed. Ali got the job done effectively and efficiently. In less than an hour, he assessed the situation and unclogged my stubborn kitchen drain that another plumber couldn't fix (required hydro jetting). Plus, he guaranteed it for a year. It was a pricey job, but was well worth it -- especially since it was done on Christmas Eve during COVID. He responds really quickly and was right on time. In fact, he answered my post within minutes of inquiry and arrived 90 minutes after I called. He also gave me some tips on how to keep the drain clear (so that he didn't have to come back in a years time and unclog it again). One thing to note though, where Ali excels in efficacy and getting the job done, he lacks in the little nuances of courtesy. Don't expect details of care like wearing shoe covers or cleaning up some spots of spillage on the walls and floor. We also had to use our own towels and bucket to keep things clean. That said, it wasn't that big of a deal. He didn't leave much mess and worked in way that prevented bigger issues like flooding the house or wasting time trying too many things. He also kept his mask on the entire time, which I appreciated, especially with a 4 month year old in our small condo. In the end, I recommend him and would definitely call him up again. Great service. Had a major plumbing problem Saturday night. Had a flange that had cracked and leaked from one floor to another. Involve two toilets. Posted it on Yelp Sunday at 6:30 AM. With 2 minutes Ali, the owner, called me and gave me an estimate over the phone and was willing to schedule it same day on Sunday. I was very impressed with the responsiveness on Sunday at such an early hour. The other companies took 2-3 hours to respond and wanted to check the job in person and give estimates on Monday. Rafael, was the gentleman that came to do the repair. Not an easy job. Took a few hours. Very competent and did an excellent job. My second experience with the technician was better than my first experience with the owner and I took a star off for trying to upsell twice on the waterjetting service. Found them on Yelp and communicated initially by text. Very impersonal, owner didn't bother to get my name; only asked for my address. The first Ali showed up, About 10 mins in I had to ask for his name. Spent about an hour trying to clear my kitchen drain. He did educate me on a few things though. He spent more time expressing his frustration that there was no clean out. Finally told me someone else would be coming to clear by snaking the line. That guy, also named Ali spent almost 2 hours and admitted he couldn't clear the line either. They did charge me $125, even though the original estimate was $485. Fast forward to today and ATC plumbing took less than 15 mins to clear the line with no problem saving me hundreds of dollars. It's been 2 days and I'm still waiting on a receipt. He came out to clear out our main sewer line, explained that I likely have a crack in the old cast iron pipes that leads to it and that I should look into digging it up and replacing it with new plastic pipes. We called Ali in the evening to help us with a massive and sudden clog in our line, and he came right away to diagnose and fix the issue. He discovered that from our house to the street, there was an old cast iron pipe that had effectively cracked all the way through. He gave us a quote on the spot and after he cleared out the clog, we agreed to have him come and replace the old line with a new one. He returned the next day first thing and his worker Rafael started digging under our foundation and planter beds to get to the old line. Rafael did a great, clean job in a very difficult area, digging out and under a lot of hardscape areas, and replacing the pipe with new ABS, adding a two-way cleanout. Ali made sure to send progress photos during the job and at the end of each day (which wasn't long, with how quickly Rafael dug it out). Rafael was assisted by Jesus, who worked on repairing the concrete pad that was cut through to get to the pipe. Jesus did a great job listening to our concerns (it is an old house with uneven landings) and was able to pour a brand new slab to replace the old one. Now we have working pipes and won't have to worry about them in the future, as well as a a new slab that we won't be tripping on anymore. Unprofessional - Over charges - Does Not Uphold Warranty - Yells, ThCauses A Scene when Questioning Him About Warranty-Very Aggressive Back on 1/6/19 Ali came out to unclog some sinks and the bathtub that was stopping up. This was a Sunday, so I called I asked for his prices. He said he was in the area and would come by to give a quote. He ran hot water for a few minutes and covered one side of the kitchen sink with his hands, did this for about 5 minutes then gave us a bill of $150. I confronted him about why he just billed us for something we didn't agree to or authorize him to fix, we were just looking for a quote. He said he fixed it and that's the price. When he ran the water (mind you zero tools were used, literally did nothing) I thought he was assessing the issue. As we were discussing his bill, my husband noticed black sludge coming up from the sink in the hall bath. Ali ended up on our roof hydroblasting the main drain. At first he said the bill was $600 and some change, $150 from his initial bill and the reaming balance was from hydro blasting. As we were discussing it his numbers kept changing, he kept changing his worlds and talking really fast. He eventually gave us a "deal" and didn't charge us for the $150, just the remaining balance and it came with a 1 year warranty. When he left I felt taken advantage of, it almost seemed like whatever he did in the kitchen caused the rest of the house to back up. I didn't have any knowledge or proof and since it came with a warranty I let it go. Today, our main drain backed up and ended up with waste in the showers. I called Ali at 11 this morning, said he couldn't be about until between 4 and 6, I told him it was the main drain and asked if this was under warranty. Ali confirmed it was so we scheduled him to come out. Around 5:30 my husband called realizing when we spoke with him this morning they didn't confirm our address so he called to confirm he knew where to go. Ali sounded like he wasn't coming, asked for the address a couple times, said he could come in the morning instead. My husband said it couldn't wait. Ali agreed that he would be here at some point. My husband again asked about the warranty and that this would be covered and Ali confirmed our home is under warranty. 6:30 rolls around and although he told my husband he would come at some point, it wasn't sitting well with me. I was feeling like he was trying to blow us off. I called and asked exactly what time he would be here since he was aloof with my husband. He tried to blow us off until the next day, but after some back and forth he finally agreed to come out "soon", still would not commit to a time. Still feeling unsettled about the warranty, I asked again. He shouted that this is the third time we have asked and that it's under warranty- we will not be charged. Ali showed up around 7 this evening, after 5 minutes of being here my husband tells me that main drain isn't under warranty. I go outside, he's done and cleaning up, starts telling me how it's not covered. I told him it was under warranty and if it was a limited warranty it needed to be disclosed at one of the three conversations we had about it. He literally started yelling at me that I was taking advantage of him. I told him multiple times to lower his voice and that I wasn't scamming him, I was feeling scammed. He was so loud my neighbor from across the street came outside and asked him to lower his voice and discuss the issue with me privately. He ran to my neighbor and started yelling at him. It was awful. Ali ended up getting in his car and was about to leave when my husband came out. Ali gets out of the car and starts yelling at him because "I'm taking advantage of him" and now he's doing work for free. Gets back in his car and starts taking pictures or filming me and my husband, we weren't even talking or doing anything but watch him leave our property. I asked him what he was doing and why he was filing us, he immediately put the phone down and started yelling again.
