My family has used Touchdown Plumbing before, and they were so reliable that we called them again for a new issue and they are still fantastic! Brandon arrived promptly and fixed a cracked drain pipe quickly and efficiently. He was extremely professional, taking the time to strategically assess the root cause of the crack rather than just patching the problem. Touchdown Plumbing offers very reasonable rates, and the whole team is honest and truthfu they are exactly the kind of people you want to work with on home repairs. Highly recommended! read more

We asked them to come install a faucet and air gap. 3 days later water was already leaking so we asked them to come back and fix it... 3 weeks after that the whole supply line came apart and caused our house to FLOOD. Both our insurance and an emergency 911 plumber said Touchdown was at fault but they are refusing to take accountability. Both reports say "faulty installation" so all issues were in the LABOR itself. You can see the damage this caused in our house. We are so devastated. Stay safe and DONT pick them. You might end up with a flooded house too! Our water is still off and we're unable to use anything going through all this litigation is super expensive. read more

We have used Touchdown Plumbing twice, for separate issues, and would never use any other plumbing service. They have high-tech equipment and really know their stuff. We've had some challenging situations that they repaired with no problem. Rich is great and they are exceptional in their customer service and repair work. Courteous. Honest. Fair Pricing. Highly recommend. read more

I had a fantastic experience with this company from start to finish! Richard, the owner, responded to my inquiry right away and explained the pricing clearly and honestly. I truly appreciated his transparency -- no confusion, no surprises. Communication was smooth and professional the entire time. Brandon, the technician, was outstanding. He was polite, knowledgeable, and extremely detail-oriented. He could even identify a tiny 0.06 mm difference in the angle valve size -- absolutely impressive! He patiently explained everything to me and made sure the work was done carefully and efficiently. I feel confident the quality will last for a long time. If you need any plumbing work done, I highly recommend this company. I will definitely use their services again in the future! read more

Brandon and Branden replaced the bathtub faucet stems quickly and efficiently. The service was professional from start to finish, and everything was completed with care. Friendly attitude and service with a smile--I highly recommend! read more

I had this team install an automatic leak detector in March 2025, and while the system is in, the experience was disappointing. The final invoice came out ~$1895, which was $700 over the original estimate. While I understand the plumber had to cut out and replace some existing parts to make the system work, that's a significant jump in price to not be warned about beforehand. Additionally, the cleanup was a bit lacking as I had to pick up some trash left on my lawn afterward. The work itself seems okay, but the lack of communication regarding the price increase is a dealbreaker. Had I known the final cost would be 35% higher than quoted, I would have gone with another company. I would advise to consider other companies before choosing this one. My home insurance company forced me to hire a licenced plumber, otherwise I would've done this myself as its a simple job if you do some research before hand. read more

We've had multiple issues that arose in our humble abode, and I keep utilizing Touchdown Plumbing & Drains because their technicians are punctual, knowledgable, & skillful. They always explain their step-by-step methodology on how they assess/diagnose the issue(s) and implement their plan of action. They take pictures of the job before, during, & after in order to reduce any misunderstandings later, which is good for both parties involved. I have to give kudos to Mark & Brandon for previous jobs they've done here at our property. Highly recommended. *Dan of Spring Valley, Ca. read more

First, I want to say that I made an extra effort to log into YELP to write this review via my computer, and not my phone. I wanted to put in the effort, just like Touchdown Plumbing did for me. We had a main sewer pipe backup this last Saturday. The toilet began to bubble and then filthy dirty water started to rise up and wouldn't go down. I was so worried on who to call, since it was the weekend. I am so glad we Yelped Touchdown Pluming. Honestly, I looked at other companies but the reviews were just mediocre. Some companies were closed and others gave us an only evening availability and that was way to long to sit around without water and smelly sewer in the downstairs bathroom. Richard responded right away to the call and gave us a smaller window to work with. Brandon was the tech who came out and he was fantastic and very straightforward and honest. Turns out there was a tree root growing into our pipe underneath the ground. We would have never known this, without paying the extra for the camera service that looks inside the pipes. If you have never done this before, and want to get to the problem of what is really happening, I highly recommend this! Brandon came back a few days later to dig up the root and replace the damaged pipe. Brandon followed through with his word and did exactly what he promised, even coming back later that evening to give us a cap replacement. Hands down, use these guys, and if you can offer cash for any of the projects- then even better and you can see if they will work with you on price! read more

We had a great experience with Touchdown Plumbing. Rich, Brendan, Mark and Sonny worked on repairs to our sewer lines. They hyrdrojetted the lines and were able to come back the next day after determining more work was needed to truly address the issue. That being said, they didn't pressure at all for the additional work and simply shared their recommendation. Their price was reasonable and throughout the process, they were very respectful, responsive and professional. I would recommend working with them! read more

Touchdown plumbing was great to work with. They came out to my home and fixed a plumbing issue I had in the front yard. They were fast to schedule me in and made the whole process so easy. Called them for a bathroom pipe leak, Rich came right away to assess the problem. After diagnosing, he told me what exactly needs to be done and the cost which I agreed, he said a technician would come to fix the problem. After 1.5 hours. Brandon came and started working on the repair - cut out the drywall and replaced 3 copper pipes and fitting. He needed to remove the toilet bowl which he returned after the job's done, cleaned everything - was happy with the service and the leak was gone. After a week, Israel the drywall guy, finished the project and it was back to the way it was before, he placed caulking at the bottom of the toilet. Overall, I was satisfied with their service, and will call them again for future needs. read more

I reached out to Touchdown Plumbing after a problem with my sewer. I was very impressed with their service. The prompt response was impressive as well. They were at my house within the next hour. Touchdown Plumbing was the second company I contacted for the sewer problem. The other company tried to charge thousands of dollars, stating it was already discounted. Touch down plumbing's pricing is also reasonable, so to speak. I will be using them for future plumbing problems at my house. Thank you Rich and to your kids for your help.. read more

Fast response. Better rates than most after shopping around. Had roots in the toilet and a blockage in the main pipe. Handled them both with ease. The roots blew my mind. Touchdown replaced decaying iron drains under the house and redid our bathroom. This project involved going through the slab and excavating a tunnel under the house to get at the old pipes. The bathroom was demolished and then completely redone with tile we picked out. 2-3 weeks of work was meticulously organized. Everyone was professional, competent, courteous and on time. Everything was kept tidy. I don't know how it could be done any better. Thanks! read more

Great service. Brandon was very professional and knowledgeable. Did the great quality work. I would use Touchdown plumbing again.

It was a full on touchdown with touchdown plumbing. These guys are legit. I called them because I was having an issue with my water pressure. Had a previous company come in and install a pressure regulator and it worked for a little bit but then it came out of adjustment. I contacted the company that installed it and they came to look at it. They said they needed to come back to replace the part and that they would be back the next day. They came back the next day and they had the wrong part. Not happy with that answer we contacted the owner and he showed up to adjust the pressure regulator but what he ended up doing is relieving all the Pressure And turned it all the way down so I could barely get any water pressure. They said they'll be back in three days to fix it and that was not acceptable answer for me. Today I contacted touchdown plumbing and explain the situation to them and they were on it. They were at my location within a few hours and they assess the situation really quick. They realize that the owner of the previous company adjusted the pressure incorrectly. He came in adjusted everything and it works absolutely perfect now. Amazing customer service and very knowledgeable. We're looking for one of the best plumbing companies in San Diego looking further than touchdown plumbing. Thanks again guys, you're the best! read more

Rich Sr replied quickly and gave me a modest quote. His son (also named Rich) came out and was professional, quick and fixed the offending pipe in our kitchen. He also noticed that while turning back on the water main that our water pressure was high (which can cause further damage in the pipes). So he offered to change the water valve and also the main valve to the shutoff (our house in 53 years old so most of the valves/connectors are old). They also gave us credit towards to the valve change out against what we would pay for the pipe repair. They're a great local, small business. I highly recommend them if you want to work with an honest plumber who doesn't try to upsell or overcharge. read more

Rich is always very responsive and reliable. After having previously done work, we had him come back out for a quote on a tankless water heater. He replied promptly and showed up promptly as well. He listened to what we wanted and provided a reasonable quote and even said he could install next day! They showed up the next day on time and everything went very smoothly. They limited the time the water was shut off and kept us constantly in the know. Rich took care of us, and no worries about the old tank leaking anymore! read more

I called for service on my kitchen sink not draining. It was late in the day. I was feeling frantic after trying with a plunger with no success. Rich had a tech out at my home the next morning before 7:30. Steve was the tech. He was great. Found the problem, explained to me what it was and what he was going to do to fix it. Easy and fast. I had sewer issues in the past due to roots, but always just had somebody come hydro jet. Figured it was time to address it, so ended up digging up and exposing my sewer main so I could have a plumber come fix it. I had Touchdown come out and they told me it would be $300 for a scope to see if more would need to be dug up and fixed. I said "will that be deducted from the job?" They said yes, so I said let's do it. They replaced what I had exposed and scoped AFTER and told me they would need to dig several more linear feet and replace it another day. (even though they could of scoped before and told me the extra work that needed to be done as there was a gaping hole put in the main from a previous plumber, who had no issue scoping all the way down). In the end I was still charged for scoping on top of the job. I expressed my distaste, but he tried to gaslight me saying he didn't say that. Guess he didn't care because that's money in his pocket. They also put the 45 degree clean out sitting RIGHT on top of the gas line running to my house when there was another 3 feet in both directions they could of put it. Seems like nothing good can come out of that in the future. I don't know if that's code but maybe the owner can respond? I'm giving an extra star because they have decent prices and from previous experience the owner seems like a good dude, but get a written quote from them in the beginning to avoid this nonsense. read more
