As promised, an experienced and thoughtful plumber arrived on time, and diagnosed our system after looking thru all the digital alerts. He said it just needed a thorough flushing and cleaning. We were thrilled that within one hour we had hot water in all our spigots again. If you want someone who is professional, knowledgeable, and capable of immediately solving your water heater problems, please don't waste your time at any of the other common and more prevalent names out there. It was blazing outside, and these guys show up and get straight to work like pros. No chaos, no complaining, just calm, confident, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. So... I'm outside being a little nosy (as one does), watching the whole thing go down. I poke my head over my fence and I realized I literally interrupted their lunch... sorry... And instead of being annoyed or rushing, they were still super cool, professional, and took their time helping out. Who does that?! Un chingo de Respect!!! So I ask them if they would be able to take a quick look at my system, and they didn't hesitate. No pressure, no upselling, just honest advice and good energy. Customer service? Top tier!!! Work quality? Solid!!! Overall vibe? 10/10!!! They talked me through the issue my unit had and how much they can do it for and after my wife approved the expenses (cuz she handles all my money, as she's allowed to do because she makes more than I do..., snd because she knows more because she reminds me how she has a few damn degrees). I'm kidding, but she does have a lot of degrees and makes more money than I do. So they fixed my neighbors A/C and mine in no time. Mine was literally in 20-30 minutes! I appreciated that Art came out to check what was happening and discussed options. I asked for an Energy Star certified tankless water heater for taxes. Art checked their supplier for the specs and found one that I then approved as it's on the Energy Star list. I also add I asked them to add a utility sink as I didn't have one before. Art shopped for one for me and installed it, too. Happy to have one now and it's convenient for the flushing of the tankless water heater. As my home is older, my regulator needed to be replaced, too. They replaced it and put in an easy water turn off handle! They measured before and after to ensure it was doing its job and showed me. I liked and appreciated how I was informed and then shown the repairs. Both Art and Ace were very friendly, knowledgeable, and hard workers! They cleaned up after themselves by sweeping and removing old parts - love it! I chose Castillo Plumbing after looking around and read the reviews here. I found my go to plumbers!!! These guys are honest, friendly, and straightforward. I priced what my repair replacement cost might be and my repair was in the range. The tech left and told me that the fixtures were not functioning and would need to be diagnosed with another visit. I was given a quote for 1100 dollars to fix the issue. A different company incorrectly installed my fan and it started to drop from my ceiling and cracked the dry wall around it. In the process, Adam and team broke the stairs immediately, and reassembled them with screws sticking out and chunks broken remains used to "level" the remaining stairs (photos of all work attached.) While on site, Adam asked for "200-300$" outside of the scope of the signed contract for the same work that would have been done with or without the additional request. Through the phone exchanges and emails regarding these issues Adam was arrogant and dismissive, yet also took blame for the stairs and will not resolve the issue. Adam's team poured our concrete before a heavy rain, but failed to redirect a gutter (as it had originally been before construction) from pouring directly onto the concrete causing a water stain from the pooling water on the fresh concrete. Again, when confronted with this issue and asking for a resolution Adam denied blame and said "wait a year". As of 6/11/26 there has been no reply nor efforts made on behalf of this company to repair any personal property damage nor resurface the concrete stain/ finish the job as fully paid for.
