What they try to say is an egg roll.
Kimberly L.

I have been eating here for about seven years. I was quite disappointed in my order today. I received an egg roll that was so small and I would actually call it anemic. Barely anything inside the egg roll. (See the photo). When they say plain fried rice, they mean it. There weren't even any green onions. No eggs. Nothing. I got a salad which was nothing but Iceburg lettuce and watered down dressing. I'm in disbelief at the way their standards have changed. That was my last time patronizing this business. Go there at your own risk. I rarely ever post reviews, but this experience compelled me to warn others. Please save your time and money and find another restaurant.

Sunday Sept 13, 2020 Healthy Mango Salad
Robert W.

So first I will start off with this is not my first time at this location, as I have had ups and downs at this location. My review is mainly for yesterday Sunday Sept 13, 2020 So My Lady and I decided to place and order with them since we were driving back home from Indy and did not want to make supper. So we ordered the following: Appetizers: 2 Orders of Egg Roll (Veggie) 2 Orders of Chicken Teriyaki on Stick 1 Healthy Salad Mango 1 House Soup - Wonton Sushi: 1 White Dragon Roll 1 Chicago Moonlight Roll 1 Unagi-Q Roll 2 orders of Ika(Squid) Sushi pieces(brings 2 an order) entrees / meals: 1 Order of Orange Chicken, was to coem with white rice, but got fried instead. Drinks: 2 Smoothies - Coconut Pineapple Overall our meal for Dinner was great, and yes of course we had left overs due to the amount of food we had, but it was worth it in our opinion. We both can say with the orange chicken they make compared to others, we can actually taste the orange in their recipe, something we really like and appreciate, plus we enjoyed eating it the next day unlike others. It is not over fried and has a sweet taste but not over powering, just right. Only issue with the order for orange chicken was I ordered white rice an got fried rice, but it was no big deal, just a preference was all, but I was not over charged so I let it go. We both love their wonton soup, so it is something we tend to always order. As for the Mango Salad It was not what I thought ti was going to be, just iceberg and mangos, so it was alright, but I personally liked the ginger dressing they had on it. We both loves the Chicken Teriyaki on Stick, chicken had flavor and was real good, almost wishes I placed 3 orders lol. Egg rolls had good flavor for veggie, we did get a free pork egg roll but I did not really care for the pork, but then again I rarely eat pork. As for the sushi, we have not really had any big issues this year unlike we use to several years ago, so that will be a hit or miss at any establishment, but for now I can say we loved the rolls we orders yesterday. I just with they had more selections without cream cheese. Only fair warning I can give is with the drinks, in the smoothies you are only allows 2 ingredients per order or it is extra, the coconut pinapple seems likes one option in the menu if ordered from their app, but it s actually 2 ingredients do not be fooled, as I was. Overall it is a good flavor for a smoothie. Overall we loved the Chinese and Japanese we ordered and will definitely be back in the future.

I visited dragon bowl tonight and I ordered Plain fried rice extra onion. I got my food into my dismay the rice was extra gummy and seem to be over cooked. I returned to the restaurant to request my order to be made over and when I received the new order it appeared to be the exact same way. The cashier told me "nothing is wrong, it's just you" . The owner approaches and says " what's wrong with it, it's rice" I explained to him and showed him the video that I recorded and he proceeded to tell me " GET YOUR MONEY AND DONT COME BACK HERE" then he literally THREW THE MONEY AT ME. I was surprised because I eat here every week and for them to treat a patronizing customer with such dismissive behavior is truly unacceptable. I would never place another order here. I never experience this before.

The service was less than stellar and the waitress was not welcoming at all. The food was at best the equivalent of Walgreens sushi.

Though we got their 30 mins before they close, they told us they are going to close and unable to serve us food. That was a bummer.

The food is good there as we've ordered from there several times, but the egg rolls continue to get smaller. They are disappointingly small.

I ordered a bunch of different things so we could try a bit of everything, and overall it was really good. I got the sushi boat for two ($62.99), and I was impressed by how much food it was for the price. It's all chef's choice, the rolls we got in our order was a Godzilla roll and a California roll. It also doesn't mention it on DD, but it includes miso soup and salad for two as well, which was a nice bonus. The fish tasted fresh in everything we ordered. We also got more rolls. The super white tuna roll ($6.49) was exactly what you'd expect. The salmon tempura roll ($7.99) wasn't too heavy or oily. The golden pillows appetizer ($6.99) was one of my favorites. It's tofu skin stuffed with rice and and spicy tuna and topped with avocado. It's well balanced and I wish they came in a larger order. You get two pieces. My other favorite was the volcano roll ($15.99) which is fried white fish and cream cheese topped with spicy tuna. I also tried the sweet potato tempura roll ($5.99) which was way too crunchy for my preferences. I would have preferred it to be softer. That said, everything else was delicious, and I'd definitely order again. I'd just skip the sweet potato roll next time.

One of the first things I noticed was how clean and well-maintained everything is--from the seating area to the food prep and kitchen spaces. That attention to cleanliness immediately stood out. I was promptly greeted by Jason upon entering and requested a seat at the bar. He took my drink order right away and asked if I would be choosing the all-you-can-eat (AYCE) option. I decided on the AYCE and sampled a variety of appetizers and sushi selections. The consistent standout across everything I tried was the freshness, quality, and flavor. Each item tasted thoughtfully prepared and well-seasoned. I've included photos listing all of my selections. Service from Jason was friendly and attentive throughout my visit. He maintained a steady presence, ensuring that additional orders were taken promptly and that my drink was always refilled. I will definitely be returning again in the near future.

Unfortunately, what should have been a special family evening turned into a disappointing and unacceptable experience. When my son and his family arrived, they were told they had to remain in the waiting area. He politely asked why they couldn't be seated inside and was told it was because their party exceeded four people. When my husband and I arrived shortly after, I asked the same question and was given the exact same explanation. However, the dining area was nearly empty -- only two couples were seated inside at the time. Shortly afterward, a larger family (five or more people) walked in and was immediately seated indoors. At that point, it was clear that the reasoning given to us was inconsistent. After I addressed the situation, another staff member stepped in, apologized, and attempted to make things right, even offering a complimentary drink. While I acknowledge that effort, the issue was not about a free drink. It was about how my family was treated from the start. The way my son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren were initially handled was unacceptable and left a lasting impression. Good food does not excuse poor or inconsistent treatment. This experience reflects a need for better communication, consistency, and customer service standards. Because of this, I will not be returning. I hope this is taken seriously so that other families do not experience the same treatment.

But you cannot take the leftovers even after paying for it. So they will literally charge you to throw away the food. The food was ok, nothing special in flavor. But the service and the treatment was far worse.
