Combination Fried Rice and Shrimp Egg Foo Young

The food was ok. The Egg Foo Young was a bit burnt but still good enough to eat and did the job.

A lot of people like it but it's not for me. I asked for chicken and broccoli without gravy. I don't know what kind of chicken this was but it was slimy and when I bit the meat it was not anything like I've had before. The vegetables were in some kind of soup that I just couldn't do. Wish I had passed on this meal. I did enjoy the plain white rice.

Quick service waited about 10 mins from the time we ordered. We ordered off the lunch menu and portions are huge.

Really good food here. Really good service. Kinda dirty on the inside. Life is a series of trade offs. I'll keep eating here.

Yes, they are trying for southern charm but the basics cannot be overlooked. The additional charges for things is ridiculous. When I walked in the door, it wasn't a hello, I was greated with do you know our polices. See yellow sign in photos. Charges, for evrything. Look at the menu, extra charges for small items. I tried to order the chicken dinner and was told they do not cook it on Sundays. Only wings on Sunday? WHAT? Isn't Sundays when people come for a family dinner? The service level was nice at the table, so I had no problem with the mandatory 18% added to the bill. She was polite and nice and earned her tip. I actually gave her additional money. The ambiance is noisey. Be prepared to talk little louder than normal. The activity level makes it noisey. I've tried this place twice, I think that's a wrap. No more.

I had the Peach Smoky Old Fashioned and a Caesar salad with crispy salmon. The cocktail was crafted with care, and I loved watching Morgan prepare the smoky Old Fashioned with such attention to detail. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and crispy, it was a great add on to my ceasar salad so delicious - kudos to the chef!! What stood out most was the hospitality. Morgan made me feel comfortable as I relaxed, read my book, and enjoyed my meal. She was personable, attentive, and created a welcoming atmosphere that even led to great conversations with other guests at the bar. Thank you, Morgan and Steph, for making my first time sitting at the bar such a memorable experience. I can't wait to come back!

The restaurant represents as a tribute to Chicago, and the price is definitely reflect that. We decided to go there yesterday and sit in the outdoor bar area for my husband's birthday. We got there at the tail end of happy hour and we were able to order one drink each at a reduced price. My husband ordered the Thai chicken bowl and I ordered the buffalo cauliflower bowl. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, as were the drinks. The ambience makes you feel like you are at an Oceanside resort. The presentation of the food was a very pleasing aesthetic.
