This place has the best lobster rolls in town. We love the classic rolls, and we also have tried the tarragon mayo and warm butter rolls. The lobster here is super fresh, and the rolls are buttery and soft. They also come with free chips which is a nice combination. It probably means something where is a constant line out the door at one place, and every other place in the area is wide open...I have to agree with the crowd. We had two lobster rolls, warm and the tarragon mayo, both were delicious. It's a smaller roll here which is great so the focus is the lobster. Wish we had found this sooner as the prices for the rolls are way cheaper than other bar harbor spots ($25 here). For sure recommend, and would be back if we stayed longer. I was searching for a quick bite to eat after being at Acadia all day. I was walking around Bar Harbor and saw the deli so I popped in. At first look they had an expansive menu, so I was definitely excited about the options. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch wrap and it was ready in record time, so I got a bit nervous! I took the wrap back to my hotel. At first sight, one of the wrap ends was open and all the contents were pouring out. One bite and spit it out - one of the worst foods I had ever had in my life. I tried one more time and it was completely inedible. I unwrapped the wrap and ate the bacon. Everything else inside was a no-go. I was furious on the $10+ dollars I had just spent. Great place to grab sandwiches! I went once last year to get lunch off the cruise boat to take into Acadia. Came back this summer for a whole week and got to go sandwiches 3 times. You can either call them in the morning before, stop in the day before, or stop by the day of to order. Note that they only pick up the phone during off peak hours. Staff are super nice. The sandwiches are generous portions and so filling. They hit just right after a long hike or bike ride. They have gluten free buns and will change gloves for you if you have celiacs. Don't be intimidated if you see a big line out the door. These folks know how to whip through a line like lightening. They are soooooo fast. I 10 out of 10 recommend this place for to go lunch and will definitely go back the next time I'm in town. read more

This is in the thick of tourist traffic, with a line out the door on a Saturday at lunchtime. Despite the line, things move quickly and efficiently, almost not enough time to take in the extensive sandwich menu. I ordered a Turkey " Rachel " which is a Reuben with coleslaw and several fresh breads to choose from. I can't over emphasize how delicious the turkey itself was. We walked in there before heading into the park for the day (we made the mistake of going in empty-handed the day before) and they had our freshly made sandwiches ready for us (and our chips) before we even finished paying. Service was very quick. The chicken that they use in their wraps are these hard, dry, unseasoned, diced chicken cubes, which were not very good. The wraps are bland because they don't put a lot of sauce. The chicken Caesar wrap was a 6/10. The ginger chicken wrap was a 5/10.
