    Buffalo chicken wrap
    Brandon A.

Stopped in for lunch while in the Blue Hill area and was very satisfied. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. The wrap was stuffed full of ingredients and I ended the meal full. There was a, "short staffed please be patient," sign but you'd never know it. Our food came out fast and hot and the staff working were very polite. Would definitely go back next time we are in the area!

Very sweet cafe! You order at the register and can sit inside, outside, or a greenhouse space! Food is creative and amazing. Gluten free bread options. The goji smoothie was so good! Only open mid day, wish it was longer but so worth it when we can get there.

My wife and two nieces and I were shopping in the bluehill area and were looking for a good lunch spot. Humbledbee cafe had good reviews and so we chose them. I didn't look at the time however and we arrived there 10 minutes before they were supposed to close. Wanting to be courteous I came in to check to see if it was too late to order. Many places will say yes and the employees often will have an attitude about it as well. I'm happy to say that wasn't the story at this fine establishment. They not only took our order but were pleasant about it and happy to do it. We had a decent sized order as well. The prices are very affordable and the food was top notch. We all got Crunchwrap supremes with red and green salsa and two sides of fries to share. They were generous with the sauces and the portion size was great. we didn't stay to eat inside but the atmosphere is lovely with Christmas music playing and nice cafe style seating with warm colors and plenty of space between the tables. Can't recommend this place enough!

The only negative thing about this place is that they do not have guest wifi. Every router on the planet has guest wifi available. The irony is they advertise their Facebook and ask you to follow them, but don't provide wifi.

This place is a little slice of heaven for those who appreciate great costumer service and most importantly GREAT FOOD. The biscuits here are homemade and the best thing I've ever tasted since I've been down south. I always order the bacon egg and cheese with a frozen mocha. THE FROZEN MOCHA IS SUPER GOOD. As a coffee drinker I appreciate that the chocolate is not too over bearing- well balanced and perfectly made! They have a beautiful outdoor space that is spacious and well kept. The entire store is spotless and well organized, beautiful aesthetic. The ladies that work here do such a great job and I hope they continue to make business! Can't wait to be back!

Delicious and the nicest people! I had the breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and bacon on a homemade buttermilk biscuit

Heavenly homemade biscuit with a gooey cheese and peppered bacon.

Finally, a place that I can say that will deliver a great meal reliably and the first place I would recommend to folks to eat at here in Blue Hill. Blue Hill is a special, cosmopolitan coastal community. The arts, literature, organic foods and farms, etc are all recognized and celebrated here...but good food has been lacking. At least good food to speak of. Suddenly, this cafe/restaurant that finds itself in an old greenhouse has come to town. Delicious homemade food that delivers power bunches in every bite, re-imagined comfort food, and incredible downtime generosity of service make this the place to eat. The breakfast biscuit is the best starter meal here. Homemade biscuits that are buttery deliciousness, a molten cheese, and a local peppered bacon make this a meal that extends beyond breakfast.

Good sandwiches, tidy little dining room, I wish they had public Wi-Fi because data coverage is terrible in that area.

I just couldn't bring myself to shop there, so I changed to a Hannaford's in Bangor. The original building burned down due to sheer recklessness. Blue Hill peninsula was left without a supermarket, so, in step the Lawrence family. About a year later they had built a new structure in the same place, the one that stands today. TradeWinds selection and quality of food is pretty darned good. The store is lovely, the staff are lovely, and the food quality is very good. TradeWinds may be THE best grocery store/supermarket that I've ever experienced. The owners and the employees are top notch, always very helpful and friendly. The Lawrence family prioritize community, they offer locally grown or made choices, they offer a Maine food section, and they've made this store a shining example of what is possible. Employees need daycare, provided. Employees and others need an exercise spot, provided. Need less expensive fuel for your vehicle, provided. Need a more community oriented pharmacy, they bring in Community Pharmacy! I've never witnessed such active community support in my life! Now to the difficult part. After more than two decades ownership is transitioning. Hannaford, the Maine distributor, which supplies TradeWinds, is the new owner. Hannaford's has been a good company as far as I know. But, like most changes, this is a hard for many of us. Will they continue to offer the unique products that TradeWinds has all these years? Will they keep the lower, more reasonable prices for groceries and fuel that the Lawrence family offered us? Will they allow Community Pharmacy to remain? Will the very cool Beer Cave stay, continuing to offer the amazing Maine and small brew company selections? Will the community awareness and cancer fundraising continue? I hope the answer will be a resounding YES, but we have to wait and see. Even though it's a difficult phase, I have to say thank you to the Lawrences and Hannaford, I'm glad the store has a new Maine-based owner with a decent track record. Thank you Chuck and Belinda Lawrence for all you have given us folks on the Blue Hill Peninsula over these many years! You are very appreciated. I hope you enjoy a well deserved retirement. Thank you also to the lovely staff, I hope the transition goes well for you. I'll see you soon. I love you all for who you are and what you do. THANK YOU!

Service lacked attention to detail, especially given how quiet the restaurant was. Glasses arrived spotty, flatware mismatched, and a $14 glass of wine smelled strongly of chlorine. No plates were offered for a shared appetizer, and there was no salt and pepper on the table--we had to ask for both. The food did not justify the price. The Caesar salad was far from authentic--soggy, overdressed, and heavy on vinegar. The steak had a significant amount of gristle, and the mushroom/beef gravy had the taste and texture of a commercial product rather than something house-made. Fries were overdone and served in a very small portion. Most concerning, all four of us experienced stomach discomfort and digestive distress within a short time after the meal. For what we paid, we expected much better. This visit was a major disappointment.
