Avocado toast, I had already eaten half before I took the pic

Lots of outdoor eating spaces to enjoy the beautiful Maine air and scenery. Order at the counter and find your spot, your order will be ready soon. Probably the best avocado toast I have ever had with a delicious matcha latte to wash it down. Most definitely recommend.

My family had an amazing breakfast here on our way out of Bar Harbor. It's a small family run place, and all the workers are really nice. There is no indoor seating but they have tables set up outside. There are a handful of vegan options, althought it looks like there used to be a lot more in previous years. When we went (summer 2025) the only vegan sandwich was the banh mi. The other vegan option was the overnight oats, which I had and were absolutely delicious. Kid friendly sandwich options as well. Highly recommend!

Where to start with this oasis of delight? The owners are warm and kind and it shows through the food they serve to their patrons. My boyfriend and I were visiting Acadia for the first time and lucked out that this spot was right down the road. We ate here four different times during the week and also purchased lunch for our hikes. I recommend the following: The maple oat iced latte(you can also purchase the maple syrup) The Banh Mi sandwich The Tuna Salad Sandwich Make your own breakfast sandwich The Yogurt Granola Bowl(I could literally eat this everyday) The hazelnut brownie As you can see just about everything on their menu will not disappoint you. Sit outside on a the picnic benches and enjoy the freshness, creativity, flavor and overall love this place resonates through Bar Harbor. Shoutout to Chris and Christina, the nicest people ever. Also their neighbor Karl sells farm fresh eggs right across the street. So much love, don't miss out.

AMAZING choice for breakfast. pricey because each topping is an additional cost but the quality and taste of the food was worth it. i got sourdough, egg, cheddar with a maple oatmilk latte. SCRUMPTIOUS! 10/10 would return. staff is very friendly and quick.

While in Bar Harbor, I found it difficult to find breakfast sandwiches. Mother's Kitchen was exactly what I wanted! When I looked at the menu I was sad I couldn't try everything. The breakfast bowls sounded amazing. You order at the window and can sit at a table under the tent or take it to go. The place was busy and I know why. Everything tasted great! Definitely want to come back for the bowls next time!

Online ordering and picking up was easy. A place for a great, fresh tasting sandwich. Not much more you can ask for.

They are an artisan, locally sourced brunch spot with great coffee all in a little tiny shack.

We traveled from west Texas to Maine a couple of years ago, then stumbled across this place on a…read moreside trip to Acadia. Naturally, had a huge chip on my shoulder about the quality of the food, but was tired of seafood deep fried or drowned in mayo. The place was a godsend. Place was busy, but the staff rolled with the punches and communicated well so we were never wondering or wanting. They had live music which appeared to be locals having a ball. Usually not a fan of beer joints trying to pass themselves off as gastro-destinations, but these guys nailed it on all cylinders. Jalapenos in the beans was a big surprise and a trick we're taking back home with us. Don't miss this place!

Thank GOD this place exists. It's near impossible to get anything other than lobster in Bar Harbor…read morewhich I understand but I also don't want to eat lobster for a week straight. When we walked in, the hostess let us know that they were short staffed but we could be seated. We were very understanding and could see that it was literally just her and one other person serving 3-4 different large seating areas. It was crazy for them but they made it work and got those tables flipped quickly without rushing anyone. We decided to sit inside the covered patio area because it was cold and it was so cute! The lighting and decor was a great vibe. It didn't take long for our server to come take our drink order. We ordered a blueberry soda (my very first Maine blueberry item!!!) and a beer. The blueberry soda was INCREDIBLE!!!!! I am so upset that we didn't order a 6 pack to take back to the AirBnb and I'm still kicking myself. The beer was also really good which I'm sure has to do with the fact that this Mainely Meat location is attached to Atlantic Brewing who also make my soda. It's a match made in heaven. For food, I ordered the sausage meal with coleslaw and baked beans and my wife ordered a bowl which usually comes with pulled pork, beans and coleslaw but she subbed the coleslaw for more cornbread. Both of them were reallyyyyyy good. We took home less than half of it just because we were stuffed. The coleslaw was amazingly balanced. It wasn't sweet and didn't go too hard on the mayo and the beans were equally incredible. They had chunks of meat in them, only adding to the smokiness. 10/10, we would absolutely be back!!
