Absolutely adorable local market with a variety of items and baked goods. On our recent visit to…read morethe area, we went a couple of times to find locally made gifts that benefit the local schools and community. I picked up a cute baby beanie for my friend's soon to be born son, and the note on it says it helps the local students with travel. There is also a large wine selection and lots of local beer, as well as jams, syrups, canned goods, snacks, and other goodies. It is cash only, but there is an ATM with a $2 fee on top of your bank fee. I wish we could have gotten the ice cream, but we were full. My understanding is that we were there on the last seasonal day for it, so if you have a hankering for it and it's open, I would suggest getting some. In the meantime, the baked goods are a chef's kiss! I have to give a nod to the friendliest ladies working there too. What an absolute delight!

Suprise suprise she didn't type any of my order or messed it up in some other way and just moved on so when I inevitably went back to the counter to ask where my food was they quickly made it but later someone came over to my table and said I had I hadn't ordered that food and had to pay for as it. Which would usually be a non issue because things happen I understand but then the barista who took my order was like "no you never ordered" which was observably false by the 7 other people I went there with. If she hadn't lied about that it'd fine but that really ruined the vibe for me.

Located across from the Bar Harbor airport with plenty of parking available in their lot. It's a smart location for those going to or leaving Bar Harbor. Once inside you are greeted with many local made goodies and Maine themed items before you even reach the counter to order. Looking up the large menu greets your eyes to their vast amount of options. Thankfully we had eaten breakfast already so we did not need to browse and decide for too long. It gives us another reason to return though to give the food a try. They appeared to offer all the drinks you would expect a coffee spot to including a smaller selection of monthly specials. These specials usually are what my wife and I go for due to their uniqueness. Which speaking of flavors they may have had the largest selection of flavored syrups I have seen before. I ended up getting their Teddy Graham Iced Latte while my wife got the Peeps Cold Brew. Size wise we both got large and I will say they are not lying by calling their size a large, they are massive. Will keep that in mind if we return. Seating wise they appeared to have some cozy looking booths that looked to be spots some people were working from home. It was so good that we ended visiting it twice during our stay. We tried Hunter pizza, Harvest pizza, asparagus and oysters.All of these were delicious. They have their own in house dip that comes with their pizzas which is amazing. The drinks were good too. It is a stunning location. Owners and staff are courteous and professional. It is a must-try if you are in Bar Harbor. Please note that they are only open between the hours of 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.

That blueberry pie was the best pie on earth. I don't need to describe every detail. It's absolute perfection. Seriously, this pie is so good you might have to admit it's better than your grandmother's. The location is tucked away on the main road in and out of Bar Harbor. It's so cute! One sister runs the bakery while the other runs the Bed & Breakfast (which looks absolutely adorable). I'd go back and stay at their b&b just to eat pie all day everyday.

Mount Desserts Pie Company had thousands of positive reviews, so we decided that's where we had to go. When you arrive, there is a handmade sign on the side of the highway for the shop and the driveway to pull in is a little tricky and takes a minute to figure it out. We pulled up right in front of the doors. Tip: turning right after you enter the driveway says "exit" only, so you have to pull straight ahead, even if it seems like you're not supposed to park there. We headed inside and were greeted by a friendly woman named Brit who had a ton of pie boxes ready to go! We got our blueberry pie and ate half of it in the car after we drove away. The pie was exactly what we wanted: fresh, local, great texture, and buttery crust. It was perfection! Another tip: it's cash or Venmo only and you can call ahead. $35 per pie. It's whole pies only, they don't sell by the slice.

Wife got the burger and didn't finish it. I got the fish and chips and I did eat the fish, but it was very dry. The French fries weren't worth it. We grabbed a four pack of beer to go, and I very much enjoyed the Acadia blueberry ipa. We were kinda sad we did dinner here, all in all.
