What an amazing find! Delicious coffee and great breakfast sandwich on a very fresh roll. BUT the absolute winner was the blueberry muffin. I like to think I'm a bit of a muffin aficionado, and I'm going to say this was the best give ever had. Fluffy, loaded with blueberries, and the secret, a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar in the top. The woman who makes these learned to bake at her aunt's knee and is a master in her own right. You would be crazy to miss out on stopping by here if you're in the vicinity. Or even if you're not, I'd travel a great distance for one of those muffins! On top of all that, everyone who worked here just seemed happy to be there. When does that happen?

Maple oat latte and dirty tumeric latte on a rainy day, yum!

Really great coffee. Recommend getting the cappuccino! Service will take a while though.

Located across from the Bar Harbor airport with plenty of parking available in their lot. It's a smart location for those going to or leaving Bar Harbor. Once inside you are greeted with many local made goodies and Maine themed items before you even reach the counter to order. Looking up the large menu greets your eyes to their vast amount of options. Thankfully we had eaten breakfast already so we did not need to browse and decide for too long. It gives us another reason to return though to give the food a try. They appeared to offer all the drinks you would expect a coffee spot to including a smaller selection of monthly specials. These specials usually are what my wife and I go for due to their uniqueness. Which speaking of flavors they may have had the largest selection of flavored syrups I have seen before. I ended up getting their Teddy Graham Iced Latte while my wife got the Peeps Cold Brew. Size wise we both got large and I will say they are not lying by calling their size a large, they are massive. Will keep that in mind if we return. Seating wise they appeared to have some cozy looking booths that looked to be spots some people were working from home. Then a couple tables and then some stools as well. A great coffee stop that was unplanned but would plan a return visit!

I got a lavender latte, a caramel macchiato, the Cob Father burrito, and the Bibimbap burrito during today's visit. The latte size was out of this world. It's been a while since I've seen that large of a cup! Very tasty and well made. My husband really enjoyed his drink, which can be a tad difficult to nail. The burritos though, those were on a whole different planet of awesome. The flavors were so, so good. I'm not often in the area, but knowing this place exists will surely bring me here more! It can be hard to make an entrance into the Trenton/island restaurant scene, but I have absolutely no doubt this place will continue to rock it. It's GOOD!

We came with a big group of nine, and despite the no-reservations policy, they handled everything flawlessly. We arrived early in the evening and were lucky enough to snag a beautiful table right next to the garden--such a dreamy setting. Our server was incredibly attentive and sweet, making us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. We basically ordered one of everything, and there wasn't a single miss. The brisket special was a standout, and the wood-fired pizza? Top notch. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. If you're anywhere near Bar Harbor, I HIGHLY recommend going out of your way to try this place. It's worth it--especially if you can sit outside and soak in the gorgeous patio and garden vibes. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

You can enjoy a drink by the fire pit and I love that I can bring my pup along on the patio. The menu changes with the seasons and the daily harvest, which keeps things fresh and exciting. Some of my favorites are the local oysters and their specialty pizzas. You really can't go wrong! Last time, I tried the lobster pizza and it was absolutely incredible. The veggies, sourced from nearby farms, are always outstanding too; I often go for the beet salad. Everything feels thoughtful, seasonal, and connected to the local food community.

So you know what that means, right? Thats means...TONS of tourists which in turn means....YET ANOTHER place that can charge a ton for basic...and I mean BASIC a$$ food and drinks lol. I get that we are in Bar Harbor or close to Bar Harbor and Bar Harbor is bougie. However, this place is like 20 mins from town....and the food and drinks aint even all that..so there is NO need at all to be charging what they do. Cool views across the street tho. So I bought a muffin and it was decent. Was it the best? Nope. I also got the banana/strawberry smoothie. It was expensive. I was really hoping for BANANA AND....STRAWBERRY!! since that is what it says on the menu. Could I taste any strawberries? Hell no! LOL! I swear they charge you $10 for a few bananas they blend up with like 2 tiny strawberries. They do have to have the pink color in there to make you think you are getting what you ordered....because why would you want what the menu says?? Crazy thought, huh? hahahah! The smoothie was gross. Yes, bananas are good for you, they are good in a shake, but just a shake that tastes like....all banana...nah, not for me. For me, thats gross. So just keep that in mind. I get it...we are at a coffee spot that's a quick stop before you go into the park and do a ton of walking for the day, hiking, walking along the beaches in the park. However, I mean...just make what is on the menu since ya'll love to rob the tourists. Just seems unfair to me is all. Did I go back? Nnnnnope. We drove by this place every day too while in the area and on our way to the park. Just skip right on by this place and drive into Bar Harbor. Many more places to choose from AND....GET THIS!!! They make you...exactly what you order!!! So crazy! You can also find many places in town that aren't crazy overpriced despite being restaurants etc that are targeted towards the massive amounts of tourists who visit this beautiful area....what I am assuming is...all year round. I will absolutely return to this area. Bar Harbor....MAINE! is a whole other world! It's like nothing I have experienced before. It's definitely one of Americas best kept secrets. However, when I do return....I will just skip on by Acadia Coffee House. Sorry to the employees...kind of. You all were nice, but its just shady that you made me a banana smoothie when I ordered the banana/strawberry and charged me $10 ...FOR BANANAS!!! What are they at the store...barely a $1 a piece? hahaha! Thanks for reading! Just find another coffee house! You'll thank me later haha! Cheers!

Mount Desserts Pie Company had thousands of positive reviews, so we decided that's where we had to go. When you arrive, there is a handmade sign on the side of the highway for the shop and the driveway to pull in is a little tricky and takes a minute to figure it out. We pulled up right in front of the doors. Tip: turning right after you enter the driveway says "exit" only, so you have to pull straight ahead, even if it seems like you're not supposed to park there. We headed inside and were greeted by a friendly woman named Brit who had a ton of pie boxes ready to go! We got our blueberry pie and ate half of it in the car after we drove away. The pie was exactly what we wanted: fresh, local, great texture, and buttery crust. It was perfection! Another tip: it's cash or Venmo only and you can call ahead. $35 per pie. It's whole pies only, they don't sell by the slice.

The pies were still warm and she said they come out fresh throughout the day. We texted a few days ahead to place the order, which is definitely recommended. There are only a few spots to park your car but you are only meant to pick up your order and go.
