D.O.G. has some of the best breakfast burritos around. They are spiced just right, and the fillings are perfectly diced, and mixed and placed evenly in the burrito. They take that time that they need, usually about 5 - 10 minutes unless there is a line, but oh well. It's the Tito's Tacos effect (for Angelenos). Patience will have its just reward. read more

I am seriously in love with their burritos! I order the veggie burrito with jalapeños. They have some kind of cooked tomato they put in the burrito and it was the best tomato I have ever eaten. I usually don't eat tomatoes... on anything. Since they're so good they can get a little busy and orders take a little long. Also, they're a little strict with their menu. Not a lot of custom requests or adding bacon here or there. Just so you're aware. Lastly, I was handed a pre-made burrito that had been placed under a heat lamp for goodness knows how long. I had also placed that order with two other people. It would have been nice to have mine kept warm until the other two were ready. Not a bad thing just... different than expected. read more

Now I wouldn't say it's the best burrito I've ever had but it's definitely a very tasty burrito I would suggest the jax Classic I've tried all variations and they all seem to be very tasty another thing I'd recommend is the grill cheese again not the best I've had in my life but very very tasty and the music choices there are pretty nice as well read more

Good food, good service, and nice staff. Always fast and big portions. Usually, I eat half waiting for the bus at the Wilson lot and drinking cafe and then I save the other half for lunch or after work. In the summer, its a chill place to read the paper and eat on the deck. Don't be a dick and you will get good service. read more

Roll the dice and find out what kind of breakfast they are cooking today. Sometimes I get a wonderful breakfast burrito, but other times it's a dried out and inedible. They might just tell you they are "closing the grill" for a while, 5 mins later it might be open again. Gyro's and lunch have all the topping put below the hot lamb. D.O.G., as it's known to locals, is a great place, off the beaten tourist path but a staple to locals. The small kitchen is totally enclosed but all seating is outside, so everything is to go in the winter unless you want to brave the cold. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito and the indian food which is only made one night a week. read more

Only giving it two (instead of one) because it's ski bum quaint and everyone loves the burritos. The owner (?) is either having the worst day of his life or he's always a raging asshole. BAD BREAKFAST AND SERVICE. Don't bother coming here for a breakfast burrito or customer service!! The burrito is greasy, contains minimal meat, is flavorless and overpriced at $9. Early this morning, I came to order two breakfast burritos before embarking on an 8-hour hike. I placed an order for one burrito without cheese because I'm lactose intolerant and the order clerk said that they could not make it. He told me that they only sell burritos with the ingredients listed on the menu and he has 25 burritos to make. I told him that I couldn't eat cheese and he said that he couldn't make a special burrito for me. That this is how they sell them. I couldn't believe his rude and unhelpful response. I'm from Los Angeles. This type of rudeness would be a restaurant killer at home. I proceeded to order one burrito for my friend who was expecting it upon my return to the the hotel. When she ate it, she was disappointed. She said it was greasy, had minimal to any bacon, and it was flavorless. She only took two bites and put it aside. When I told her how rudely I was treated, she told me that I shouldn't have ordered anything from a place where they show so little respect or value for customers, specifically those with food allergies. I've had great experiences and food at other Jackson Hole restaurants. Do yourself a favor and skip D.O.G., otherwise, expect great regret like we did. read more

I went there this morning to grab a burrito. The bearded guy working said I was "going to have to do a dance move" for it. I joked at first and told him I was sorry I was all out of moves from starvation. He insisted again. And said I had to do three dance moves or not get a burrito. And I politely said, sorry I would just really like to eat. He then put the burrito away. Then insisted again more seriously. I kept refusing politely and said I would just like to pay. He finally handed the burrito over while telling me rudely I was "no fun." Apparently not his version of fun. Which by the way "you're no fun" is what I hear every time I refuse some guys advances or harassment, so I'm pretty tired of men scything that to me when I won't do what they tell me. I understand they are trying to be the crazy, fun burrito place, but when someone politely says "no" and is clearly uncomfortable you should stop. And I was walking away proceeded to laugh about it with the people waiting behind me. As a woman, it is really degrading to have to do what a man says like a dog in order to get food. $8 was way to much to pay to be humiliated. read more

I have lived in Jackson for 13+ years and have gone to DOG for their burritos for that long. I just went to the west location, which I hit about twice a month. I went in after 8am and the guy behind the counter said they were running late and it would be 10 minutes. Not a problem. Another man and his son came in and they were told 7 minutes. Another guest came in and went over to the side counter and asked for his burrito and the guy said no problem. After 10 minutes, the guy placed veggie burritos in the case. Then he handed the third guy who came in his burrito after 15 minutes of me waiting. He then came over and asked the father/son what kind they would like and ignored me. I then approached him and asked since he is giving other people theirs before mine, wonder if I could get the three I have been waiting for. He said sure. While he was "making" mine, three more people came up and asked for burritos. He then made and gave one of them a burrito. I then went up to him and asked why he was giving people burritos before me and that is was not cool. He then gave me two burritos and said the other will be right up. The whole time I'm wondering why this is even happening...he can't be that dense or rude but he was. After another few minutes he had the last one for me. Even the other remaining guys in line were confused. In total, it took 40 minutes to get me three burritos and I am not over exaggerating! This experience was beyond disappointing, it was blatantly rude. Poor form. read more
