I loved coming here the whole time of my stay because it was easy to get quick salads, meals and little items. I also came here for some allergy medication as well. Allergies have been horrible this summer. This little market was very convenient and of course it's in Jackson hole so of course it's going to be expensive like everything here but that doesn't take away from the convenience and availability of items. The people working here were extremely polite except for one big, brown guy the last day, who stared me up and down and couldn't bother putting my items into my shopping bag that I brought with me. There was no willingness to assist, no recommendations, and no sense of hospitality whatsoever. Her expression stayed cold the entire time, and it honestly felt like we were inconveniencing her simply by ordering. To top it off, it took nearly five minutes just to get a basic receipt, with no explanation or acknowledgment. And that's the thing about customer service -- it shapes the entire experience. A café can have great coffee, appealing food, and a beautiful interior, but when the first interaction feels distant and unwelcoming, it overshadows everything else. Staff members are the face of a business, and when customers leave feeling ignored or unwanted, it leaves a lasting impression for all the wrong reasons. Beautiful space and some solid food, but service is what defines whether people return -- and unfortunately, this experience made us not want to come back.

My scrambled eggs were soft and buttery, the salad came with lovely vinaigrette dressing. The plate was nicely presented, and the portion size totally surprised me. I could not finish it all. I was so sad since it wasn't super moist it was kinda bland and did not have that classic sweet spiciness that makes a carrot cake what it is. Nothing made it stand out my opinion that was more like multigrain bread vs. a yummy classic treat. I think a "huckleberry" jam cake (which is still a type of spice cake) but layered with jam) would be better and more popular on the menu.

Then two minutes later another couple that was standing outside was seated at one of the empty tables. Well we sat at the bar and it took about 10 minutes before any one came and greeted us. Finally came back and took our order. We received our food which the s'mores French toast and the corned beef hash were both fantastic, but after the food. We got the check and it took another 10-15 minutes before they came back to pick up and run my card. Look I get being busy, as they were. But there are some improvements that can be made.

It didn't satisfy the homemade pastry feeling I'd hoped for. Baristas, at least, were VERY kind!

I got a gluten free pumpkin chocolate chip muffin for $7 before tip the first day, and it was so good. But the second day, I got a housemade chai latte with almond milk and a GF morning glory muffin and was so disappointed with both. First, they don't show that there's a $1.50 upcharge for almond milk on the menu so that was annoying. The chai was not sweet (but you could get it sweetened for an additional $1), which I was fine with cuz I love spicy chai. But it was like barely flavorful, I actually added a pack of sugar later to try to add some flavor but it was not enough to salvage it. And the morning glory muffin was still moist and fairly large but holy moley it had *so* many raisins. Do not get it unless you are in the mood to eat an entire box of raisins. It also had coconut flakes which I didn't realize and also didn't enjoy. The soups looked good, and they make some really good looking toasts too so I'd go that route!
