My family and I stayed one night in Jacksonhole to explore the town before heading out to the Grand Tetons. Upon arrival in Jacksonhole, we stopped by Creekside Market to grab sandwiches to go, which is about a 20 minute or so drive from the airport. Creekside Market is a small market in a strip mall next to Dairy Queen. It has all your basic food and fishing needs in addition to a deli and liquor market. The deli serves sandwiches, salads, soup, and breakfast burritos. For the deli sandwiches, you fill out a paper slip at the counter and they make it on the spot for you. We ordered three custom sandwiches- one turkey, one beef, and one meatball sub with varying veggies and cheese and all toasted. While the turkey and beef sandwiches were good, the MEATBALL SUB was the star of the show! It may have been the BEST sandwich I've ever had. It is stuffed with eight HUGE beef meatballs slathered in marinara sauce and gooey melted provolone cheese (the cheese pull was 10/10!). It was savory, juicy, peppery, and everything a good meatball sub should be- I can still imagine the taste today and am still drooling for it! I was full eating just half a sandwich and so I had plenty to share with my family members who agreed it was a top-tier sandwich. I would go back to Jacksonhole just for this sandwich!!! Service was fantastic and we got our food within 15-20 minutes after ordering, considering it was during the lunch hour rush. Sandwiches are anywhere between $11.50 a $18.50 for an 8" sandwich (or a little less if you want a 6" sandwich). Note that there is no seating and so takeout is really the only option here. Creekside JH is a rustic sandwich shop and deli just off of the square in Jackson, Wyoming. It is right across the way from the elk refuge visitor center, and on the way into Grand Teton National Park. The sandwich shop is locally and family owned and all of the staff are friendly and welcoming. Inside the market, there is an array of chips and snacks as well as camping and hiking supplies. I had an excellent pastrami sandwich. This is a very nice market where you order your sandwich however you like it by checking boxes on an order form. They make it pretty quickly and you take it away. Because you have so many options to consider it's hard to imagine that you won't be able to order the perfect sandwich however you like it. I would absolutely return. Of the four of us, one thought his sandwich was a little soggy (about 3 hours later) so if you're concerned about that maybe see if it's possible for the dressing to be on the side? I had the same dressing as he did and my sandwich wasn't soggy at all, so perhaps he was a bit picky? Anyway, I don't think I would have any reason to try a sandwich from anywhere else. The sandwiches at this location are great. We always stop in and get sandwiches on the way in and out of the park or when traveling they are delicious. One big drawback is they have no hot sauce of any kind except that junkie Cholula that stuff sucks. It would be great to have some kind of hot sauce to have with their delicious breakfast burritos they're really good but kind of bland if you don't have a hot sauce or something to put on them. read more

I go here everytime I come to Jackson Hole. It is in the outskirts of town so perfect to stop on your way to or from the National Park. The sandwiches are 10/10 and very easy to order. Always grab some chips with it and not too pricey. There is not a lot of space to eat there but there is some outdoor pavilions nearby. Since it is a market there's also lots of other things to grab than just a sandwhich. I think about this place a lot haha read more

We needed cash. I completely forgot we needed cash to go on our tour and to tip the breakfast servers in our hotel. When we inquired about an ATM on property, they told us to walk to Creekside Market, about 50 yards from the lobby of our hotel. Walking in, I wish I would have known more about this place before coming to Jackson. Instead of going out to a fancy dinner our first night (which I wasn't planning on doing anyway but the pizza place I had scoped out was closed for the season, unbeknownst to me), I would have come here for one of their delicious looking sandwiches. The store is a good size, with many items to supply you. The sandwich/food counter was clean and well organized. The people working were so freaking friendly and had no care that we were just in to use the ATM. If I'm ever back in Jackson, I now know where to stop to get my provisions and a nice bite of food. read more

After landing in Jackson Hole, we were starving and had a long drive ahead of us. We stopped at Creekside Market for a sandwich. Once you enter the market, grab the order sheet, fill it out, and drop it in the box. While waiting, we checked out some of the merchandise. Service was quick and friendly, and the sandwiches were ready in about 15 mins. The order sheet has many options of add-ons and allows you to customize your sandwich. We ordered a Pasatrami on Rye and a Turkey bacon on wheat. Although the pastrami was good, the turkey was a better choice. We crossed the street to the park benches that provided shade and watched the Geese with their babies a couple of feet away with the beautiful scenery in the backyard. read more

Both my husband and I were craving a sammie and this seemed to be the place to go. Love that it is part of a small store with your usual small grocery/convenience store items. The Sammie's themselves were huge and we ended up not really eating dinner even with 6" sandwiches. We both got turkey and then I added avocado, black olives, lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard. This is for the sandwich shop/deli: Great filling sandwiches. A little on the pricey side; I recommend getting the 12" as it's more bang for your buck. We split the turkey with pepper jack cheese and the bread was toasted to perfection and they didn't skimp on the toppings. The ordering process is a bit different: you fill out a card and place it in a basket and the attendants will call your name when your order is ready. The deli prices weren't too bad; about on par with what you'll find at any mid-range cheese/meat shop. This is a cool lil market in town that has all your basic needs for a pit stop! They also have a place inside that you can get some breakfast burritos or breakfast sandwiches at and I think they have some other options but I only got breakfast! The Creekside Market is an amazing "find" right on the edge of town. It was walking distance to our hotel and we needed sundries but found ourselves here at least 3 times in so many days. The deli is outstanding, especially the Italian sandwich. Fresh, generous and well priced. Maybe the best Italian sub I've ever had. In the back, you can get adult "slushees". The flavors seem to rotate. They aren't for the faint of heart (we shared) but a lot of fun. It's a market and it's a place where they have good sandwiches. I swear this place was strategically opened at this location because it is on the way to Grand Teton. You order your sandwich on pencil and paper and it is made to order. You can customize your sandwich to your liking or have their specialty sandwich. I had the corned beef sandwich and I was expecting corn beef from the can. What I got was actual corn beef patty. It was good and different.
