This location is better than the other locations. I do wish they had a few more sweet breakfast items but overall everything tastes really good! I had the "healthy" sandwich which I would definitely order again. Sometimes vegetarian sandwiches are underwhelming but this had good flavor and a generous amount of filling. The wheat berry bread they use for sandwiches is so good! My chai tea hit the spot and was the perfect size. My husband and I enjoy having breakfast At Doug Diner. The food is always served promptly and hot. The servers are outstanding including the hostess staff. It's really hard to pick a favorite but I do order the pancakes regularly, bacon and eggs poached perfectly medium. Love the bacon! If you are around the area, I highly recommend you stop in. Be VERY careful where you park at Doug's Diner. My car was towed from an area that had no markings that Doug's Diner patrons were not allowed to park there. $405 later, I got my car out of impound. An *incredibly* expensive brunch. read more

I will give this place another chance to see how their lunch food is. But breakfast was not a high rating. I'm so sad as I had heard good things. Perhaps an off day? VERY slow service. Forgetful waitress. Which add up to not enough staff like every place these days. Sadly the coffee didn't arrive until our food did and I had to remind her for that or it wouldn't have arrived at all. Cinnamon roll was an appetizer and it was exciting to LOOK at because of the size and fresh frosting. However an utter disappointment because it was cold and rather dry. Food came and my Mona Lisa omelette was made with piece of mushroom onion and green peppers that were made for fajitas I think, so huge, in an unappetizing overly firm egg. There were three tomatoes on the side and pesto squirted on top. By squirted I mean VERY unappetizing looking and I won't go into what it reminded me of but think green and squirted. I think my taste buds and sight are directly linked. The biscuit however was beautiful. It was grilled perfectly and hot. I asked out waitress for butter and jam. This sadly didn't come either and when she offered the check I asked again. However by then the biscuit was cold and tough. My husband ordered over medium eggs and they were easy...very easy. ... I feel for restaurants these days! I feel for the honest hard working wait staff who probably get a lot of cranky clientele because there are NOT enough workers! I ate here this morning. I was nearly cajoled to eat because I don't eat much. I somehow beat the rush which was lucky because leaving the restaurant an almost throng of customers appeared sporadically after we/I had finished our meals. I ordered huevos rancheros. But I chose the red Chile sauce. This I've never tried. Especially when I had never been or even heard of the place. The red sauce was good and the meal delicious. The service was exact not continuous visits from the server. The same with the coffee warmer-on time. The side tortilla was a good thick home style tortilla. The omelette was really good, recommend getting the sour cream on the side as it gets a little soggy if you don't eat it quickly. Love this place- got right in as my husband and I didn't mind the counter- food was excellent. All homemade, from the hot cakes to the peach jam for the AMAZING English muffins. Popped in for Sunday late breakfast place was super busy. It was very disappointing today as we've eaten here in the past and liked it a lot. Today our food was warm not hot. I was in town for a conference, and I walked by this diner. I saw it was packed, and talking with the others waiting, they told me this was the best brunch in this area. The best part was I was served by Courtney. She was amazing. She took great care of me, and she had great recommendations. You can tell she's a pro. I have ate here twice, once dining in before the latest COVID restrictions and in both circumstances, the experience was very positive. Both times were for breakfast and I felt their was a good choice of breakfast options with a mix of traditional as well as original items. I had the Cowboys Pappas (Skillet) and it was very tasty. The green chilies is amazing. Just the right about of "bite" but not overpowering and flavorful. Coffee is OK, not great and would prefer they served fresh cream but not a deal breaker. Stopped in on my way to work for breakfast. Service was fantastic. Everyone was very energetic and happy. I ordered a coffee and chicken and waffles. The coffee was terrible and the portions of chicken to waffle didn't add up to me, however the food tasted great! Fortunately the staff noticed I hadn't touched my coffee and took it off the tab. Food and service here is decent, but what I wanted to say is that if you are looking for parking, please park either on a side street, hotel parking(if there is any) or at the bank if it's a weekend. My husband and I parked across the street where yummy pho and those stores are and we got towed within 10 min. The owner of August Moon owns that parking lot and will call if he sees anyone using his lot and not eating at their establishment. There are signs posted around that towing is a possibility and that's why leaving a warning for anyone that reads this post. First and foremost they don't serve any booze and I walked into this building as the most hungover person on the planet so I genuinely take that as a murder attempt on my life. A mimosa was the only thing that could've saved me today and they didn't have a drop of liquor. I felt like I was in Utah. Got the huevos rancheros and is was good, nothing special. LOVE this place. The food is always good although the last time I ordered The Cowboy, they scrimped on the amount. It usually takes up the whole plate but this time, it didn't - ? Ate lunch at the newly opened Doug's Dinner today around 12:30 pm. The parking was scarse and we had to drive around to find the one open spot. We perused the menu for a while as there were so many things that sounded great. My wife and I both decided on burgers. Both were cooked medium as we wanted. We did have a mixup of toppings on my wife's burger but the staff quickly addressed and solved the issue. They were out of their homemade chips so we opted for fries. Why is it that no one knows how to make a proper egg over medium?? A true chef knows this is how fried eggs should be cooked, but every time I try and ask for my eggs over medium, they come out over easy. This place was no different. The food overall wasn't bad.
