The egg was cooked perfectly and each ingredient complimented the next in a great texture with the egg cooked perfectly. We ate outside with a high chair and it was great. With our drinks, we also shared the halawa and it was fantastic. The small sized halawa was perfect for 2 people. The tea and coffee came with sugar as well which was nice, just a great experience. The cost of the meal was also fantastic for what you get. It was totally worth every penny. I recommend you check this spot out, even if you're picky like me!

We came on a Thursday morning right at opening (9am) and were able to snag a table inside for our group. The space is small inside but they do have a few outside tables too which is nice to enjoy in the summer time. Parking is standard street parking right on Broadway. We started out with Turkish coffees and Iraqi Tea. The presentation was beautiful and the complex flavors were so nice to wake our taste buds. We ordered the Beef Mix, Lamb and Eggs, Pastry #2 (hot dog, mushroom, cheese), baclava, and their special halawa to try. They were cooking right by the counter so the whole space filled with delicious aromas while we were waiting for our food. We all had full bellies between 3 adults and 2 kids and took home leftovers! You MUST get the Beef Mix! I don't even know how to describe how delicious this dish is to give it justice but it was definitely the group favorite. It came with salad and yummy boat shaped bread to scoop up all the flavorful goodness. Their house hot sauce took it to the next level. The baklava was the perfect amount of sweetness with the coffee and tea. It was our first time trying a halawa and we all loved the dense texture with a sweet taste. Please do your taste buds a favor and come support this local business!!

This location is a bit tricky to find, and I was slightly nervous to see if this Elmer's measured up against others...it does. The server, Alana, was beyond friendly and engaging. I heard her have conversations at other tables, and she was so genuinely nice. The General Manager, Jose, greeted me at the front with a warm welcome. Jose sat me at a very nice booth. When I left, a young gentleman was the front, and he said thanks, and please come back. Again, so genuine. My Denver Omelet, minus the green peppers, was excellent. Besides the appearance, it also tasted great. The hash browns and biscuits were also perfect. The NW Lodge Blend Coffee was also quite satisfying, even though it is $4.29 a cup. Thank you Elmer's again. I will have no qualms visiting this location again.

We stopped in on a Friday morning and it was quiet, with only a few regulars eating food and reading a newspaper. The interior was equally as cute as the exterior. The shop was full of 1950s era decorations, from the retro lighting to old newspaper clippings. The bar area kinda reminded me the diner the Men in Black 3, where K ordered a piece of apple pie with a slice of cheese. The dining area was clean and bright, and the menu had tons of classic American selections. I ordered the chicken fried steak which was the recommendation, and I liked it. My friends ordered pancakes and enjoyed them as well. Our server was attentive but quiet. I wouldn't say she was the friendliest but she certainly was attentive. Overall, I liked the Bluemoon Diner and I am glad I finally checked it out. Now I know a good spot to go when I want some classic American diner food.

Food wasn't bad so I'll definitely be back! There were a few micro charges that we didn't even think about when ordering (whipped cream on milkshake, 0.50 or some odd cents for tartar sauce) but otherwise it was a very pleasant experience. As someone who usually hates sauerkraut the Reuben was actually enjoyable which was a surprise to me. The place really captures the diner feel inside and out, I'm excited to try different menu options in the future.

When we moved to Oregon, it was under construction but we kept hearing how good it was - in fact, all the local FB pages would gush about it when a newcomer would ask about the best restaurant. And once it finally opened, we tried it, but it was kind of like Marie calendars and Shari's, but local. Ok, but not what we had expected for all the hype. So, after trying a handful of options it seemed Bannings was the only place we could still get breakfast so I begrudgingly agreed. Well, I was mistaken! I got the breakfast enchiladas and a strawberry orange mimosa. Now, the mimosa - I'll get that out of the way first. It was weird - it looked curdled. It just had mashed strawberry at the bottom and it actually was quite good. I'd do a normal mimosa in the future, but good. But the enchiladas - delicious. Like, I'll come back again and again for those. And they didn't charge me extra for the avocado, which I think is righteous because I asked for no hash browns. But not all places would do that, they'd nickel and dime even if you passed on one side for another. Additionally; my husband likes a savory breakfast and a sweet one too - so he often gets two breakfasts and though he may not eat all of both he gets that savory and sweet. Well, the omelettes come with 3 pancakes. Perfection. And, I took 3 bites of them - I usually might try 1 or not at all - they are very very good. Last - it did not break the bank. I've about ruled out breakfast out because of how crazy expensive the places that should be reasonable are. This was reasonable - PLEASE DONT CHANGE!! All in all 5 stars, will be back for breakfast; and hey - when I'm wrong I can admit I was wrong! Give them a try if you haven't!

The food and huge portion sizes clearly no change in over 50 years. Even though I am on keto diet, I opted for one cheap-day just to try their food. My favorite is the Dutch Baby.
