Arrived at around 11am on a Sunday, which I realize is going to be a busy time, but so should the business owners. There were barely any bagels left and the flavor options were limited to basically plain and poppy. The bagels were tasty, but nothing special. I did appreciate the mini bagels that they offer since I have a toddler. My biggest gripe was the coffee. Green Mountain. This is supposed to be a quaint local cafe and to offer such a boring mainstream coffee is pretty lame. They should be supporting one of our awesome local coffee roasters and should really prepare better for the busy weekends. read more

Simply the best! Yes, I'm a local. Yes, I also like Starbucks. But it doesn't compare to Dosie Dough for quality food and coffee. The owner is awesome, the local folks who hang out are friendly and you can't beat the breakfast sandwiches. My favorite is the bacon, egg and cheese bagel. Toasted just right! This is THE place to go in town and relax. They've recently revamped the interior and made it feel more roomy, which is good, because if there's a downside it's that there is almost no indoor seating. If it had more seating it would be perfect (but I'm giving them five stars anyway just because the people there are so great). They also put up local artists' work to sell, which is really nice. read more

Hands down the best coffee shop in Lititz. The staff is friendly and does a great job to get your order ready pretty fast so that you don't have to wait long. It's definitely the go to place for my family for a quick breakfast and coffee. They have a wide variety of bagels available and also have fresh bread and donuts from Achenbachs which is a really good bakery. The shop itself is small and does have a few spots to sit inside but they do have a larger area outside to sit with tables. This is definitely our new spot in Lititz! read more

Good place for breakfast. Super friendly staff. Good menu choices. Some items are priced a bit high but you wont be disappointed on taste. The coffee is self-serve, which I like, and all green mountain. They have several varieties (decaf, breakfast blend, french roast, etc). I like to mix a few together. Pastries are good too. Doughnuts, danishes, cupcakes. Dosie Dough is always crowded in the morning. There is no seating inside, but a few tables outside. Check it out. read more

Dosie Dough was just the place I needed to stumble upon this past Sunday. With an empty stomach and a serious craving for a solid bagel and cream cheese, I wandered into this cute spot and immediately knew I was in the right place. The bagel selection was strong (over 10 types of bagel flavors!) and I could tell they were fresh and homemade. I ordered a multigrain raisin bagel and opted for the cinnamon walnut cream cheese. The bagel itself had a great texture and flavor and the cream cheese was perfectly sweet and salty. My friend ordered an egg, cheese, and pork roll on a plain bagel and said it was very good as well. Dosie Dough also boasts an extensive homemade pastry selection along with pre-made sandwiches and other savory snacks. The only thing that took away from my experience was the fact that the layout of the store was a bit awkward and the service was on the slow side. This was most likely the case due to the fact that it was a Sunday morning and it seemed like the whole town was craving a bagel at the same time I was. Maybe next time I will go at a different time of the day/week to avoid feeling claustrophobic. All in all, I will definitely stop in whenever I am in the Lancaster area! read more

I love love love this place. My go to spot every time I'm in town. I love their bagels and their delicious hazelnut coffee. It's a must to have a breakfast sandwich with cream cheese egg ham and more cheese(you choose your bagel) from a large variety. So yummy. I come at anytime because breakfast is always available. We have been coming here for about 7yrs now...and I wouldn't want it any other way. One day when we finally move to PA this will be my daily stop before work. I'm in town this weekend for a wedding, and the hotel that I'm staying at recommended Dosie Dough. I'm glad they did. The outdoor seating area was absolutely packed. Lots of kids, young families all the way through to senior citizens. Everyone seemed to have flocked to this place for breakfast. I walked in to a friendly and warm greeting, the smell of great coffee and baked goods and was almost overwhelmed with choices. The three girls that were working today gave me great suggestions of what to eat and a great suggestion for an espresso beverage. Not being from the area, I was very skeptical about the longjohns. So I went with a vanilla pecan cinnamon roll. It was tough to make the choice between that and the chocolate chip bagel, but the cinnamon roll was on point. Light yet filling, great cinnamon flavor without being overpowering and the vanilla glaze was fantastic. If I'm ever in Lititz again, I would certainly come back to Dosie Dough. read more

Visited here today and this was the most disorganized coffee shop I have ever been in. The front counter has a register so you think you are supposed to order there but no they send you to the back of the shop to order then you are sent to the front to pay. When you get to the front again you have to recite your entire order again to check out. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR RECEIPT! with their inefficient and confusing system they charged me an extra $4.25 for a drink I did not order or receive. Wow. Stopped in to see if I could dig up a good bagel in Lititz, and I was blown away. Very, very small shop with extremely friendly people behind the counter. Bagel selection includes your standards, along with Spinach, Peanut Butter, and Black Russian (pumpernickel with onion in the dough and covered with sesame seeds). Opted for the latter two, which I took home and enjoyed several hours apart (with cream cheese). Why hours apart? These bagels are so thick and so substantial that there was no way I could possibly eat two in one sitting. Now THAT'S the mark of a great bagel. Great little spot for coffee. Stopped on whim and got a coffee and lemon square. Although it was barely 8am on a Sunday, the place was filling up quickly! My favorite thing was the standing coffees.
