Rosie Dough is a decent little cafe/bakery/coffee shop in the charming town of Lititz, PA. A big bonus is that they're open on Sundays when many businesses are closed. It's a cute spot with both indoor and outdoor seating, and perfect for a small town, as they also serve some breakfast and lunch items. The reviews seemed great, but couldn't make out what they really excelled at, so wound up going with one caffeinated beverage and 2 bakery items. Both the raspberry whoopie pie and coconut iced Long John were decent without being too sweet, but neither had the wow factor of a unique or great dessert/pastry. The latte was decent, but otherwise average. Overall, I'd rate Dosie Dough a 3.5/5, but happy to round up cause of the friendly staff. I used to come here all the time being local & loved it! I found some mold on my bagel however I gave them another try thinking it could have just been a one time mistake! They say the bagels are freshly made every day. My next order I found a clump of hair in the middle of my bagel sandwich. I called and let them know to which they apologized and refunded me! There is a serious shortage of good bagel places in Lancaster. Honestly, this place and Grand Central are the only bagels worth trying! This place is a cute little nook that has a wonderful team of staff. The group here were so kind and very generous allowing us to stay ten minutes after they closed while my friend's Zoom meeting wrapped. I got their matcha latte which was okay but I wouldn't recommend it. I wanted to love it because of how nice the staff were but it just wasn't very good. In the future, I'll probably try a latte to see how their coffee is but the matcha just tasted processed. read more

Bottom Line: Friendly service and tasty baked goods including sandwiches. I visited Dosie Dough during the pandemic and by then they had pivoted to an efficient system of having customers place and pick up orders at the windows. My husband and I ordered coffee and bagel sandwiches and I got a big M&M cookie too. Since the outdoor seating is very limited we walked down to the Lititz Springs Park for an early Sunday morning picnic. I had an egg, cheese and ham on a sun dried tomato bagel and I think my husband just had scrambled egg on a cinnamon raisin bagel. We both enjoyed our bagels and the cookie. I washed mine down with coffee which was average. Service was friendly and efficient and I can see why this is a popular spot. I would love to return for some more baked good goodness! read more

Stopped her to grab breakfast, this is a small coffee shop and nothing like the large corporate chains. The service was very fast and friendly, I was able to just grab a 2 tea bags and a cup to make tea. I got a bagel with cream cheese, my only complaint was that there salad enough cream cheese on the bagel for 2 1/2 bagels. The restaurant was very busy and got a bit loud inside. I was curious to try Dosie Dough because I love little places like this, yet I had never noticed it even though it's on a main street. It and it's sign are set back from the facades of the buildings on either side, which creates a nice area to eat outside. It is a main thoroughfare though, so it's noisy. We opted for inside. The baked goods looked enticing. I ordered a chicken wrap that came with the wrap crispy toasted. It was delicious. Sadly, we won't be back unless it would be to grab fresh pastry to go. I like Dosie Dough with their quaint little dining room and set-up. The food was very good as well as the pastries. Service was spot on and the patio is a nice touch. My only complaint would be having to pay for each cup of black coffee. This did not seem necessary given the $13. breakfast (toast, 2 eggs and 1 meat) that included black coffee. With a tip I was out $20. I prefer to pay cash and fortunately still had enough for pastries to go. I still recommend and even gave them 4 stars. read more

Saw something about Dosie Dough in the local paper & decided to check it out. It is a folksy comfortable space with indoor and outdoor seating. The bagels are the best I've had since moving to PA. They are not NY bagels but they're pretty good. I had many choices for coffee and tea including decaf. The breakfast sandwiches are good and cheap. Nice variety of sandwiches, donuts, and other goodies. Their walls host the works of local artists. It is frequented by locals. It has an anti- Starbucks vibe which I rather enjoy. The music they played during my visit (Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Tom Petty and so forth) appealed to my taste. This place was previously great. However, after four times of messing up a simple order I've learned my lesson. First, shame on me for continuing to go there after the second order was messed up. I order the same thing every time - Lox and bagel. A traditional Lox and bagel does not have tomato however Dosie Dough serves theirs with tomato and of course cream cheese, capers and onions. I always order lox and bagel toasted minus the tomato. Today I paid $10 for yet another messed up order - I received a $10 bagel with cream cheese, but at least this time it was toasted. Great place! This is where the locals go for breakfast and lunch. They have a nice selection of pastries and their bagels and bread are not traditional Lancaster County fare (not slamming Lanco, just accustomed to good bagels and crusty bread, which I prefer). They do breakfast sandwiches and have a number of healthy grab-and-go sandwiches and bottled drinks with an emphasis on things that are less processed. "The Dough" is small and has limited seating, but this is a great place to sit outside and enjoy the weather while rubbing elbows with townsfolk. Can be crowded at peak times but it is worth the wait. The owner's name is Amy and she is one of the nicest people I know. For locals: the Dough can put together very nice trays for breakfast or lunch gatherings. Do give them at least 24 hours notice as they need to order their supplies ahead of time. I love love love this place. My go to spot every time I'm in town. I love their bagels and their delicious hazelnut coffee. It's a must to have a breakfast sandwich with cream cheese egg ham and more cheese(you choose your bagel) from a large variety. So yummy. I come at anytime because breakfast is always available. We have been coming here for about 7yrs now...and I wouldn't want it any other way. One day when we finally move to PA this will be my daily stop before work. This is a nice coffee shop right in the heart of Lititz. As with any other coffee shop you can get pretty much get anything you want. Will there you can grab something from there bakery section to go along with your drink. There is limited seating inside but outside there are several tables to use.
