Stopped here with my husband while we were traveling in Lititz and was blown away with how many delicious treats they have. The store was beautifully decorated for the fall season, clean, and inviting. We loved all the treats they had to offer. There were teas, honey, a large selection of maple syrups(the sparkle syrup was very cool), fresh pastries, hot cocoa bombs, and more. We purchased their mystery box and other treats. The mystery box was fun because it had treats my whole family loved. It was packed with licorice, cashew butter, chocolate, and chocolate covered espresso beans. This place is absolutely delicious!! We stopped in to grab some sweet treats while passing through Lititz. We were immediately greeted with very friendly and helpful staff who pointed us in the right direction with our choices. Our favorite treat was the coconut macaron. DELICIOUS and perfectly sweet from the flaky coconut. I also had a caramel covered marshmallow which was great (but extremely sweet!). The cookies were tasty (blueberry white chocolate). Just fabulous! The pecan pie brownie is my new favorite treat and I'm already looking for excuses to drive back to Lititz to get more. The caramel covered marshmallow was also amazing and that is coming from someone who isn't a big fan of marshmallows. The buckeyes and peppermint patties were just okay, but still really good. I put in a cookie order via phone answering machine on a Saturday to be picked up the following Friday. The answering machine said they would call back in 24 hours. They are closed Sunday and Monday. I called Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday still reached an answering machine. Love the charming nostalgic look of this sweet shop in downtown Lititz. Their signage, paper sacks, front display window & interior displays are all just perfect. I wish I could give them 5 stars, but the chocolate brownie I got recently was stale & flavorless! Everything looks & smells wonderful, but this item was poor quality & simply not fresh! I am a brownie lover & only ate a few bites before throwing it away. It is a real shame after paying $6.00 for it. read more

The Sweet Legacy Gourmet is a bakery that has been around for more than 25 years and is family-owned. Their stand inside the Bird in Hand Farmer's Market (located literally diagonally from the entrance) has a nicely-displayed spread of cookies, fudge,hand-dipped marshmallow, caramel apples, and recipe-in-a-jar. I tried some of their fudge, the Apple Harvest, which seemed to contain bits of apple (but had a golden raisin-like texture to it) - I personally thought it was overly sweet and grainy. They sell it by the large slices, rather than like the other confectioneries that tailor to the amount you want per lb. I'm so sorry it took me this long to do a review. I live an hour away and treat myself to a shopping trip to Lititz twice a year. Once in July and on Black Friday. I literally have been shopping here for years and finally decided that one day I'm gonna stop in this shop for the first time. I'm sorry I missed it all these years! When you walk in their store you are greeted by the amazing smell of chocolate. They have everything from popcorn to peanut brittle to salted caramel's, nuts, brownies and cookies, All made by them! It's a little more expensive compared to some places, like local farmers markets, but it's worth it thanks to the quality. This candy store is a must! Their salted caramel covered marshmallows are the best ever! They come in many different ways...on a stick, in a square, many ways. So so good, and I have had a lot of caramels in my day. The owner was there when we visited. Very nice and accommodating. We travel back to the store, just for these caramels. And we live over an hour away. You must try his candies. He has a huge selection of hand made, home made items. You will love it. read more

I swear I gain 10 lbs just by walking into this place. They have the most amazing assortment of candy and baked goods that you cannot find anywhere else. My favorite candies are the peanut butter buckeyes, and cashew turtle clusters. In the fall I always pick up a caramel apple with peanuts to take home. Not sure what kind of apple they use but it is always so fresh and crisp. The baked goods are superb and the cookies specifically the toffee pecan chip are probably some of the best I have ever had. First time we stopped in to the Lititz location on Small Business Saturday. Owners were on behind the counter and finishing up their baked goods. The owners greeted us and were really friendly. We ended up getting two coffees and a Toffee Pecan cookie. Coffee was fresh and the cookie was still warm and tasted great. They had so much in cookies, candy, Caramel coated Large Marshmallows, pastries, and fudge. It was $5.25 for everything. Very fair price for a large cookie and coffees. Shop was super clean and customers were being taken care of quickly. We ended up going back later to grab a dozen cookies for friends. The one owner still remembered us from the morning. We would definitely go back again when in Lititz. read more

You can't leave without trying the handcrafted old fashion family recipe fudge in so many amazing flavors (try the dark chocolate, peanut butter, and salted caramel chocolate) the salted caramels are to die for, and the caramel popcorn beats Fishers by a long shot.!
