I went to Whiff while visiting a friend I live out of State and now I have there breakfast blend shipped to my house. It is that good.

Near the Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery is Whiff Roasters. Tucked down a little alley/walkway, passionate staff greet you when you walk in. Proudly, they show you the dozens of flavored coffee beans from traditional flavors like hazelnut and French vanilla to more unique flavors like Apple Coffee Cake and Berries Be Wild. It's scanning rows of ostentatious flavors is where they lost me. Hear me out. I truly believe that the beauty of this world is in its diversity. There are many people who love a flavored coffee with "fun" flavors and over-the-top lattes with too much whipped cream on top, but that's not my jam. In my opinion, a quality coffee shop is simple and leads with espresso brewed really well where the taste of coffee shines through. Whipped cream, Black Forest Cake, and Cabin Fever mask coffee in my opinion, but many would and should disagree with me. To prove my point, I ordered an iced Aztec latte. I have a sweet tooth, but this was way too sweet. I literally couldn't taste the coffee through all the noise. Again, some people may love this place if flavored coffee is your thing. It's just not mine, so I'll pass. That said, the service was great! Everyone I interacted with was helpful. If you're reading this, go and support them! read more

I've heard great things about this place and was so excited to try their coffee! I got a regular cappuccino and it was very sour and the milk was foamed to death, so much so that it was not drinkable. It also took a long long time to get our drinks. It was a disappointing experience for a place I was really looking forward to! read more

Visiting a friend in Lititz over the weekend and bought an assortment of portion pack coffee to bring home to my husband. Well, both of us. I am a cup a morning and my husband is 2 cups in the morning. Oh-My-God! Although I have seen it in print many times, this was the first true "full-bodied" coffee I have ever tasted. We tried the Costa Rica, and I am not enough of a connoisseur to share with you "hints of this and that" but the realization that I was drinking something far superior was instantaneous. Sadly, I live 3 hours away so this will have to be a rare now and then treat, unless I get it shipped or talk my friend into a visit to Lewes Delaware! read more

We stopped by the retail store before we left to go home. We didn't know that it was pick up only but a nice lady came out and took our order. We got a few bags of coffee. While we waited for it to be packaged we went to the nice creek and watched the ducks. read more

Hands down, they make the best coffee! It's the only place I could find a wide variety of flavored decaf. My favorite is salty caramel and Mississippi mud. I love that you can get the flavoring added right there, which makes it taste that much better, and can choose from a vast variety of beans (in caffeine or decaf!!). We've been enjoying coffee beans from Whiff Roasters for as long as we've known about them. We would happily give them 5 stars for their beans but the real reason for this review is to praise their cafe in the Market at Wilbur. We have never gotten a coffee/latte/iced coffee from their little cafe that we haven't loved. The girls are always friendly and helpful with recommendations. My favorite purveyor of flavored coffee anywhere. They take such care to infuse the flavor into the bean and they do it to order. I'm not usually a fan of alcohol-flavored coffee because it usually tastes fake, but their Bourbon Whiskey coffee smells like the real thing and finishes in the throat like velvet. Because of where it is, the prices are remarkably low for artisanal coffee beans relative to what you find in big cities, and the personal attention makes it all the more special. read more

My husband loves their coffee, especially their Aztec and Jamaican Me Crazy. He used to love the Dunkin Donuts Chocolate Donut coffee but is now disappointed he has to use them up. We got to try their coffee during the Lititz Chocolate Walk. We will be shortly ordering more coffee! (I'm not a coffee drinker, but do like theirs compared to other coffee). read more

This guy can roast! Hands down my favorite in Lancaster. I live close to New Holland Coffee company and have always appreciated their house blend, but there is no comparison to Whiffs own house blend. Whatever he does, bean selection down to the precise roasting its magic French roast is particularly on the mellow side of other French roasts I've had. I grind whole bean with a burr grinder and French press my coffee for what it's worth. read more
