Do not come here when you're hungry. They move slower than molasses. I waited 45min just for 3orders of dosa (TO GO). The restaurant was hot, like they had the heater on. It was very uncomfortable and the lighting is terrible. I was squinting at the menu like an 80-yr old. Seems like they're trying to save money and NOT have the A/C or vents or lights on. And even though the food was decent-tasting, their customer service was subpar. They knew it was my first time there and I was waiting there for a LONG TIME, but they never tried to chat or talk or even be friendly. The 2guys/waiters/servers/owners/or-whatever-they-are just stood there, ignoring me, avoiding eye contact. They could've given a small glass of lassi or chai while waiting.....or maybe just water, at least?!? Not once did they even offer a drink or anything to relieve my sweating. Yes, I was visibly sweating, while sitting down, waiting for my order of food. Customer service is a flat ZERO, here. Food was fine......that's why it's getting 3stars. Nothing fantastic. The dosa was fresh but lacking in taste. The dipping sauces were flavorful but the chickpea could've tasted better with more garlic and spices. Overall, the food is good if you're looking for some homemade comfort food -- but order in advance and don't go when you're already hungry. EXPECT TO WAIT. And expect zero customer service. :( I'd rather go to Pioneer St in Cerritos for my Indian food.

Absolute worst service I've ever received. Waited one hour without seatin after we were quoted 10 mins for seating. I asked for an update at the 1 hr mark and they said 30 more minutes on top of that. Reminded them I've been waiting for one hour already. There were multiple open tables. They also hand out dirty menus that are covered with other peoples food for you to view your order We were seated and never received cups or water. I literally asked five times. Service was so terrible. I had to go get my own cups and water to serve my own self. Had to go fetch my own beer from the fridge and open the bottle top with my own opener. I wouldn't be surprised if they told me to go make my own entrée. It was not that terribly busy there were about one waiter per three tables. I'm really not sure what the hype is about this Dosa spot. The daal this straight up water.

Went here on a whim being in the neighborhood and was pleasantly surprised! I've never tried dosas or chaats before so it was fun to try new items. We got the ghee masala dosa - my boyfriend LOVED it. I thought it was really good, especially the filling, but definitely really heavy with all that ghee. The dahi puri was my favorite, SO REFRESHING. Would absolutely get it again anywhere I see it on the menu. The tikka masala was good but I expected it to be more red in color? Threw us off a little but I didn't care. I'm sad this place is so far from me but so glad I got to experience these dishes and will be looking out for them in places closer to me!

As I learn to be my own company, I continue to try more spots! I'd just gotten off shift and decided to try Dosalicious! The staff were all very friendly and served me with a smile. It was a bit quiet, as the TV had been off, but it wasn't any kind of bother. There were many options to choose from, and there were sections dedicated to vegetarians! I had the Chana masala with mild spice, paratha(both my first times trying them!) and a masala chai for my drive home!! I was expecting the wait time to take a bit, but everything came out very fast! While eating, I had several staff members come up to me to check up on how I was doing which was super sweet(I personally don't find it redundant or annoying, I think hospitality is important.) The food was so yummy... beasted my plate. YUP. I see that there's a trend of people tanking this spots reviews because of tips and fees; it's pretty basic knowledge to know that there's a service fee if you dine in and if you use a card. It's California, idk what to tell you LOL. anyways, I look forward to frequenting the spot

Okay honestly this place turned out to made me mad as 8 of us went in to dine on a Sunday noon. I had gone to try idli manchurian & when they said their stove wasn't working & the only thing we could order from the menu was dosa, I was so disappointed BUT it did end up working after our first order of food came out and thank god ! I loved idli manchurian so much! Perfect crisp & flavors. Dosa was great too, just thought the medu vada could use some salt. As we were getting done, our server also told us he can't give me a container for left over sambhar .. like what? Are you trying to save plastic containers, if so I can support it. But I shamelessly asked it's ok I'll use the chai cup to take it & he was laughing at me. He did end up giving me the plastic container but mentioned how he has to listen to his manager. Honestly Indian restaurants need to get it together with customer service and management needs to be better. We also got 7% discount on cash payment & gratuity was included.

I'm writing this review as I'm waiting for my food. Actually. I already finished writing 3 other reviews while waiting. I'm counting the clock as I await. 5 tables, 2 to go orders. Came in 12:41pm, order placed at 12:48 pm, and still waiting at 1:21 pm. The decor is really simple. The restaurant yields a scent like a homeless man, as you approach the restrooms, the scent gets stronger. 34 minutes later, my food showed without any word from the server. The food was served up in a fast food tray with disposal bowl and dish. The taste was mediocre. It comes with rice only, no nann at all. Since it's a vegetarian dish, it had no meat but boiled eggs in the masala. Foe sub par everything, the price is extremely high. Horrible. 1 out of 5.

This place could be a hit or a miss. The dosas are very delicious but their service is very slow. If you are lucky the food will taste 12/10 but on a bad day food could be 6/10. Its kinda of a love and hate relationship because we've been going there for two years now .. sometimes we leave very disappointed and other times we leave with a happy tummy. The place is crowded most of the time. I really don't know how to better describe that this place is a "dice roll" kinda thing. Went over for dinner and we waited 48 minutes for our food after placing our order. I was getting very upset when the server suddenly brought our dinner. Luckily the food was delicious... we heard another customer from the table across of us complain about their rice being super oily and was unhappy. This place is like going to a casino to try your luck. You can either leave happy or upset and disappointed. They could increase their service time.

Got a recommendation from a friend and decided to give it a try. I LOVE IT!! My favorite is ghee masala dosa and kerala parotta with chicken chettinada. The dosa is huge and crispy. They are all hot and fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful. The service is fast even on the weekend. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Definitely will go again when I'm in the area.

I went there yesterday afternoon and the place was almost empty but far from my table there was an old Asian lady who was wearing mask only to cover her mouth but she was coughing really bad ( almost like a person who has TB); however, her table was 6-7 tables away from me but her coughing was annoying. I had my appetizer but my chicken masala was uncooked so I was ready to leave when all the sudden that Asian coughing lady stand up and she went to the kitchen. I couldn't believe that with that kind of infectious cough they would let her to work that day. After I got home I got sick with stomach ache and going to bathroom a lot that's a reason I would not eat there again.

Love their paneer burji dosa! It has a kick of spice in it but it's what give it a flavor. The dosa sooo big I couldn't finish it. It tasted good the next day after toasting it. This is addictive, I can't stop coming back for more! read more

I think the restaurant is clean and the people are courteous but being a South Indian myself, I expected more from this place. What I did not like: 1. No spice to their chutneys and Sambar 2. Dosalicious platter was not fresh made. It was re-fried. 3. Chef's special Uttampam is no way close to the picture described on the menu. It has v less paneer like bits and pieces, v less veggies and more dosa batter. 4. Self order 5. Foam plates, plastic cups and to-go chutney cups. We are multiple visit customers. This place is so good. Friendly staff, delicious food, and it's consistent and reliable. Whether you are craving dosas or looking to try something new, stop by for a visit. Here are items we have tried and enjoyed: Chicken 65 appetizer Samosa chat (very generous serving) Masala dosa Ghee Masala dosa Chili onion Ravi dosa (my favorite) Chicken kothu parotta (it's like a chicken rot casserole and a little strange at first but still tasty) They have halal meats and lots of vegan/vegetarian options. This place is outstanding! I ordered the masala Dosa. I don't get to have home made Indian food as much as I used to growing up and was worried to Hey something other than home made Indian food, however, this tasted just like my aunt makes it. The potatoes were fresh and tasty. Please eat it there. Dosa is best fresh! I took mine to go, at it at home just down the street. I love eating it with the coconut and mint chutney plus the sambar (soup) it comes with. All of it was fresh, dill flavored and tasty! read more

I would give this place 4 stars because the food was pretty solid and I didn't have to wait that long for my take out order. I had a vegetarian plate which consisted of masala sauce, blocks of cottage cheese and rice. It was good and fairly priced. Employees were also super helpful walking you through the menu. They did forget an appetizer I had but when I called they reimbursed me and were very apologetic. All in all I'd come back. ***they don't carry naan bread read more

This food is so delicious! I'll be honest! South Indian food is not my favorite so I'm very picky but they have the dosa down! As well as the sambhar and chutneys! Then we had the gobi Manchurian and it was crunchy and a little spicy! It hit the spot. There is a wait since everything is made fresh but they have signs posted and it is so worth it. The service is great and they are super sweet, treat you like family! Take some time and stop in. You'll leave super satisfied and happy and healthy! read more

Food was good. Only thing that made me pause about coming back was hygiene standards - restaurant crew wore their food safety gloves to literally do everything - from opening doors, taking trash, texting on phones, preparing food and serving patrons. We observed that they did not change out their gloves at any point while we were there! read more

Do not go here if you have food allergies they literally fucked up my order and they put nuts in it. The customer service is the worst ever. Then when they brought out the fucked up order I told them no nuts specifically. The people just laughed and made me hella pissed. They don't even understand nut allergies are life-threatening. Then they went back in and started the order again. I was hella pissed that I wanted to punch the guy right in the face. All I can say is if you can't run a business in the proper way possible then don't work. These people are hella unprofessional. read more

I was thrilled to find a south Indian place in Inland Empire especially someplace serving some Kerala food (I grew up with this and all south Indian food) I ordered the the ghee dosa and my bf ordered the pav bhaji (because he had never had it before). Their ghee dosa was good but not great. They got stingy with the ghee. The sambhar lacked flavor. The chutney was ok. The pav bhaji, I know an unwise decision to order from a south Indian place had too much tomato. And had no spice! Lesson learnt, don't order Bombay food from a south Indian place run by Malayalees! Also bought their Mysore pak for $5! The flour was not roasted and the flavor was very weak. Overall I had much higher expectations of the food and this was so disappointing. The service was good by the waiter however the owners were extremely unfriendly. It made it seem they were doing me a favor by paying (not cheap!) prices for south Indian food. I make this food at home all the time so I know the efforts and cost in making this. Overall they lost a south Indian customer purely because they couldn't smile and treat a customer with respect and warmth. read more

We're from Bay Area where we have Viks which is really good so expectations were high. The first thing they brought out was idli which was way too dense and a disappointment and I was like oh noooo this is going to be terrible. But everything else was over the top good. The paratha was great, the Chana masala was superb and butter dosa texture was perfect so they redeemed themselves well. The chai is great too. Highly recommend. Will come again for sure. read more

Looking for spicy and flavorful South Indian food, then this is the spot in Corona! This is my go to spot for a specialty dish called Kotthu. It's a dish consisting of chopped roti, veggies, and choice of meat with spices. Reminds of Sri Lanka Kottu roti, which has different spices, is more thicker in texture and uses different spices...still looks like Kottu! Food is good, but I'm shocked to see how much they increased their prices. I understand times are tough for business owners, but price increase is a bit much, especially for a fast food joint that serves food on very cheap low quality paper plates. Highly recommended!! Their Mumbai style dosa is really yumm!! We tried few other kind of dosas as well, all tasted pretty good! Authentic in taste.. service was a bit slow but the taste compensates for it. My sister order utappam which was a bit thicker than what she likes ended up being too heavy!! So not recommending utappam..but overall great food!! read more

I had a very negative experience here. I came with my family and we had to wait a very long time to even order. Then, we waited 15 minutes for our appetizer. Then, we had to wait another 20 minutes for 2 people to get food. 10 minutes later, most people had their food, but they forgot about my order. In the end I had to wait 45 minutes. I checked several times, but they had a horrible attitude. They gave an empty apology and kinda brushed it off. Throughout our dinner, the service was very poor and cold. At the very end, they messed up our receipt, adding an item. They also had an outrageous 3.5% credit card processing fee. read more

This was my first visiting Dosalicious. The menu has alot of options. I decided to try out the Paneer Burji Dosa . It was incredible with the coconut curry. Make sure you add a mango lassi to go. That too was healthy and delicious. read more

It's difficult to find homely Indian food considering the vast number of Indian restaurants. Dosalicious exists in that tiny space between homely and restaurant food. The chicken chettinad curry is liquid gold and the dosas are close to perfect. The abundance of ghee and the crispness of the dosa make this is a legitimate spot to get south indian food from. Definitely recommend. Keep making great food Dosalicious :) read more

This place is worth a drive even if you're 1hr+ away. This place is delicious and everything is made fresh. Expect long waits but it's well worth it. Flavor is not compromised for anything here. I've always loved dosa, the southern Indiana food. It's so nice to be able to have it here in Riverside. This place is one of my favorite Indian restaurants. The only issue is that the dosa I ordered was not crispy. Maybe because I only ordered take outs. I'll try to dine in next time. read more

This restaurant is really amazing! I love Indian food ever since I traveled there back in 2012. Always been difficult to find South Indian Cuisine locally without having to travel to Artesia. This is definitely my new go-to place. Dosas, curry, puri, samosas and chicken 65 all amazing! Definitely recommend this place. Try something new you won't be disappointed! read more

Good food the chicken curry is my favorite. The mango lassi was thick but a little too sweet. My dad got the dosa it was good but needed more spices, the Sambar was tasty. The pani puri was okay it didn't come with imli (tamarind) and it didn't have channa in it just potatoes. Their chai is so good will go again for the lunch specials read more

If it weren't so hot (We came on a 100F day) it looked like a nice place to eat under the umbrellas. I accidentally spilled a jar of hot sauce which for some reason had a loose removable lid and one of the waitresses was quick to clean it up for us. She was nice about it, too, like she could've easily copped an attitude with us about it, but didn't. A man next to us said he accidentally did the same thing which makes me think they need to find a different container for that sauce. There's a huge parking lot, so that wasn't a problem. However, the area directly in front of the restaurant and the other shops near it were sectioned off with yellow caution tape for some reason and my sister said it looked like a murder scene, which made me laugh. I'm fairly sure that wasn't the case, but I don't know why they did it. The only reason I knew the restaurant was open for business was because I saw people eating inside through the windows.

Glad we did. This time was different. Two dishes, the black bean ribs and the salt & pepper pork chops, turned out great. Not only did they have good flavor, both dishes were quite generous and meaty. And if we had stopped ordering right there, I wouldn't have had any reason to drop a star. It was the dim sum that almost ruined it. The siu mai (8 pcs) were small and oddly fishy tasting, lacking the traditional aromatics. One bite and I knew there was no way I would continue eating them. No reason to bring them home either. Was I willing to just throw away my $13? No. Disappointed, I bravely told the server, and then, the manager. I got a "deer in the headlights" response, followed with a "what's wrong with it" query. Awkward moment. But, minutes later, the server returned from the back kitchen, and the most miraculous, unexpected thing happened. She said they would take it off my bill! Honestly, I was not expecting any resolution. But in wisely doing this, they frankly rescued the situation and my attitude. I respected that one gracious gesture. So, while the siu mai will still never be anything I order here, there is a vast menu to explore, and a few dishes I already know will not let me down. Two of these were from our first time, the char siu baos and the shrimp with scrambled egg. These were good. That said, this is a decent business that proved they wanted my business. We will come back.

There is no dearth of Indian restaurants in Southern California but 'Dosalicious' is a rare gem. Don't be deceived by the name because they have plenty more than just Dosas on the menu. They offer a wide array of vegetarian and meat dishes to satisfy the taste buds of even the finickiest eater. I especially love their Idlis, Vadas, Rava Dosas, Uttapams, and the scrumptious Gobi Manchurian. The ambience, cleanliness, and customer service augment the delicious food. However, the thalapakatti dum biryani was a letdown, lacking sufficient seasoning. On a positive note, the chicken 65 was flavorful and well-made.
