I'm so happy we finally got a Nepali reasturant in the area! I've gotten food from here at least once a week since they opened. I remember my dad and I counting the days till they opened. My favorite is obviously the nepali momo. I usually get the chicken, chicken jhol, and goat momos. I also love the chowmein. I usually go straight to the Nepali section on the menu, and haven't ordered any "Indian" food from here yet. The price has gone up a lot since they opened, likely due to how good the food is and how popular the place has become. I'm just glad, I can always come here when I crave momos rather than waiting for an occasion to cook it myself. The place is clean, and service is great as well!
Drove from OC to this Himalayan spot, and found the drive absolutely worthwhile! Started with a couple of masala chais and complimentary lentil soup, perfect to warm us up on a rainy day. Grabbed an extra masala chai to go at the end! Chicken sekuwa was the standout dish. Tender spiced chicken with a tangy sauce and the perfect amount of heat - not to mention the appealing plating! This is a must try. We also got momos - was hoping they had yak but settled for lamb. Not bad and the sauce brightened up the slightly dry momos, but overall not outstanding either. Goat curry had meat just as tender as the sekuwa, proving that their meat dishes are no fluke. The curry itself is on the milder and lighter side in both flavor and consistency, not a bad thing if you don't want to feel heavy and stuffed. Place was moderately busy for a Sunday lunch, we were seated right away but servers did have their hands full with other tables. A slower paced place, but the patience pays off.
Clean and spacious inside- booths feel private- service was impeccable. Fast, friendly, food was good size portions, AMAZING FLAVORS, tons of choices! And garlic and cheese naan was cherry on top! Mango chutney was delicious! Everything was great! Will be back to try more dishes!!
Wow! What can I say more than wow? And I only walked in the smell of the food was intoxicating. We were greeted immediately and sat. We ordered the chicken korma, the sizzling chicken Momo, and the chicken tikka along with garlic naan. I have eaten a lot of Indian food in my life and this place was absolutely delicious. The presentation, the flavor, the texture. The sizzling chicken Momo was something that we had never tried as it was off the Napolis menu and it did not disappoint. So many amazing flavors it was a completely different flavor profile from anything I've tried before. If you haven't tried this place you really should..
Great food, nice and clean interior, polite service. I've tried most of the Indian food nearby and this is the best. It's certainly a little better eating in than getting delivery but I generally expect that. Their new lunch specials are a great deal!
The chili chicken is just delicious. They ask you what level of spicy do you want it from a scale 1-5 and to me three was just perfect. Service was excellent. On a Friday at 5:40, there was no waiting (but there should be because of how delicious the food is )
Met with a friend here for lunch today and got their lunch special with Saag paneer and chicken tikka masala. Everything was really good and for those of you who want a smaller portion of menu items so you can try more stuff , this size was perfect. I wish the naan stayed more soft but when you're dipping it, it don't matter much. Good service and plenty of seats.

yummm nepalese food. first time trying nepalese and 10/10 experience would def come again ordered: vegetable samosa, daal soup, vegetable momo, vegetable chow mein, mango ice cream, kheer, mango lassi vegetable samosa: not a favorite, had better daal soup: complimentary thought it needed salt though vegetable momo: DELICIOUSSS. imagine vegetarian chinese dumplings of bland boiled cabbage EXCEPT in this momo it actually tastes good and full of flavor i like my dumpling dough to be thin and this was a bit thick for me either frm the frying or it's just thick to start. would order again!! i liked this more than the chicken momo! vegetable chow mein: order mango chutney on side and omg it is delicious mango ice cream: apparently homemade. was like cubed mango sorbet and why did it have chocolate syrup and sprinkles? a bit misleading kheer: also homemade, and better than what i had at the gudwara, omg it was delicioussss mango lassi: better than bottled mango lassi, also delicious overall: definitely coming again, service was amazing and our guy was funny, real w his recommendations. house was packed on a tues night! i liked the vibes, were chill. favorites: vegetables momo, mango lassi, kheer

Still excellent food and service. We order it to go often but enjoy dining in as well. Tried the mango ice cream which we all loved. Very fresh and not too sweet. I absolutely love the nepali salad that they serve at lunch. Wish they kept it on the menu for dinner, lucky me they had some available that night. Will continue coming back and recommending it to everyone. Nice quiet and clean restaurant.

Amazing! Thats the brief summary. The waitress was very kind and attentive, the food took a bit longer but well worth the wait. I have never tasted better butter chicken. My wife got Tika masala. We fell in love and have come out a few more times since our initial visit. read more
We ended up coming here twice in one week because it was that good. Love that there is a traditional Nepali Indo-Chinese spot tucked away in a plaza. The staff were friendly and attentive both times. On our first visit, we ordered full-sized portions, and the next time we tried the lunch combo, which was a perfect way to sample a variety of dishes at a great portion size. The food takes a bit longer to come out, but its hot and fresh when its on the table. I tried these below, and all were yummy: Butter chicken- rich and creamy. We ordered little to medium spice, but it could've been spicier Sizzling lamb momo- tasty and meaty, not gamey. Chicken Vindaloo- deeper tamarind flavored, with chicken Shrimp Tandoori- large shrimps, and was very spicy. Chicken Chilli- good amount of larger chicken chunks, with bell peppers, tomatoes and onions and get the garlic naan and mango lassi! It was perfect to dip the naan in the sauces read more

Himalayan Aroma will let you know once you walk in the door the delicious meal they will be preparing for you. Once me and my wife walked in we knew we were in for a treat. The vibe of the restaurant hits many notes of a traveling diner to be honest. Each table is set with a different location and offers some images of places to travel. There is plenty of seating , open space and overall pleasant. The service was excellent, our host gave us suggestions and was great on checking in with us. I'm sure he even knew we were not going to finish what we ordered but me and my wife were just excited. Her and I love to cook together and we have not tried to much Indian food so this was just an amazing adventure in food for us. The food could not be any better, we got some garlic Naan, some grilled onion stuffed cheese naan, my wife got a red butter curry, I got a skillet with a little bit of everything protein and veggie wise. We enjoyed their lentil soup very much. We also got some of their chicken dumplings and they were pretty good , we added some of the curry to them and that elevated them for flavor. Honestly this was such an amazing experience food wise, there are some very fun and unique flavors that come from other cultures and I love that we can experience one another's culture through food. We will serve back and we look forward to trying more. read more
Came here for a Galentine's Day dinner with some friends. The server, Sushil, was very nice and gave great service and had our table already set up when I arrived. The restaurant was clean, well-kept, and had a positive aura to it. To top it, the food was decent. I plan to come back very soon ! We wanted to eat Indian food and I Saw the reviews on this place and thought we'd try it, my friend and I went and had lunch there. I ordered the shrimp curry my friend ordered the lamb Nirvana with rice and garlic naan. We were served the Himalayan lentil soup, soo good! And we ordered the Lamb samosas for appetizers. Everything that followed after that was so delicious we couldn't stop eating.!! And the servers were really nice! We're planning to go back! I visited Himalayan Aroma off Hidden Valley in Corona . It is a new Nepalese and Indian cuisine restaurant. They were having a lunch special so I took advantage of this offer and I ordered chicken tikka masala with rice, naan bread and an order of veggie samosas . The food was delicious and very tasty . I was looking through Yelp for a place to eat when I remembered that I was wanting to try the Himalayan Aroma Indian restaurant in Corona Ca. They have some awesome lunch specials!! The lunch special comes with two different main dishes and a salad and it even comes with naan bread, and dessert too! (Sweet rice.) It was a great meal for the price! One of the best Indian restaurants I've tried lately. It's definitely worth the visit. Besides all of their awesome lunch specials, they also have a different variety of other dishes on their menu. If you like Indian food, then you should give Himalayan Aroma Restaurant a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I know that we weren't disappointed. read more
Heard this restaurant recently opened in Corona, so of course we have to check it out. Came here with my family. The entry looks inviting. Upon entering, we were seated immediately. My first impression was a positive one. The decors are very nice, bright, and clean. The staffs are very friendly and helpful with explaining what's on the menus. While looking at the menus, we noticed the Lunch Specials section. Looks like a very good deal, so we decided to order from that. With the lunch special, you pick any two items from the following choices: a) Saag Paneer b) Chana Masala c) Veggie Korma d) Chicken Curry e) Chicken Vindaloo f) Chicken Tikka Masala g) Chicken Chilli All Lunch Special comes with Rice, Naan Bread, Salad, and Dessert. We all ordered different Lunch Specials, mine was with Chicken Chilli and Chicken Vindaloo. They also gave us Lentil Soup on the house. Foods came out fairly quickly. Everything tasted so good! I was on a mission to try Nepalese cuisine when my friend and I rendezvoused at Himalayan Aroma. Other than the Himalayan fried rice, its menu is very similar to other Indian restaurants I visited before. I was delighted to find lamb vindaloo on the menu so that is what I ordered along with naan bread. Although I ordered my vindaloo with the hottest spicy level but it was only mild for my taste. Lamb was cooked to perfection and very tasty. The naan was good too. Himalayan Aroma does have a lunch special menu on weekdays, mostly chicken and vegetarian dishes. Personally I would order lamb every time so l can't wait to be back to try the lamb curry. read more

My daughters treated me to lunch and the food was delicious. Everyone was friendly and the lunch special was so good ! It made it easy to pick from their menu and prices were reasonable. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back. You want be disappointed ... everything on the menu looks delicious. On a scale one to 10... it's definitely a 10+ . Their cucumber lemon water so refreshing. The ambiance is relaxing and refreshing. read more
