She recommended the chicken tikka masala bowl. I'm a big fan of curry, this restaurant didn't disappoint. Different flavors than Japanese curry, but still very good. There are so many Indian restaurants where the dishes taste watered down or the same sauce is used for every curry but everything we had here was very flavorful and had the right amount of spice. The butter chicken poutine is my favorite, one of the best dishes I've had, so yummy! The masala fries and tandoori chicken wings were also delicious and the sauces that they came with were great. Tastes like really quality home cooked Indian food and one of the only Indian restaurants in my opinion to nail Indian fusion dishes. Friendly staff and clean inviting ambiance as well. Expensive but I really liked their curry. I had the Butter Shrimp Curry (regular plate) and I counted seven big shrimp in there, cooked perfectly with the rich and creamy curry. I paid the extra dollar for the garlic naan and it was worth it. I could have done without the salad, next time I'll get the yogurt instead. You order directly at the counter, and the menu is clear and easy to navigate. We came on a busy Saturday evening and were happy to find everything running smoothly despite the crowd. We tried the Palak Chicken Plate, which came with naan, rice, and salad. The curry flavor was really good, though the chicken could have been a bit more tender. We also had the Chicken Tikka Kebab, which was nicely grilled and tasted great. For dessert, we went with the kulfi (milk ice cream) -- absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced! So let me start by saying this was not the first time me and my wife had More Curry.... It is the 6th . We ordered it via door dash and just kept getting it... the. We said we need to go eat there !!! The restaurant is a nice little spot, with open seating and you will order up front and then they will bring out your food. The service was fantastic. We actually got to meet the own and he gave us great suggestions. The food came out fairly quickly and looked amazing. We orders the butter chicken plate and the bowl, we got garlic naan, we also got the poutine fries with the butter paneer. Honestly the food here is amazing. When we ordered from door dash I also tried their pizza and the butter chicken wrap and they were equally delicious. More Curry is just a fantastic spot and will not let you down on some amazing curry fusion. This is one of our favorite spots after moving to the area. The food here was delicious but definitely on the spicy side even when ordered mild. The mango lassi was really good and helped cool things down. What kept this from being a 5 star for me was the naan pizza. The flavor was nice but for the price I expected more chicken on it. It looks like a lot of chicken was on it but it was actually thin and ended up being a bit disappointing. U can taste the different spices they add to the food. If anything I feel the samosas maybe a little blend for my palate but they were tasty. For their bread options, the naan was delicious; I got the chili cheese naan, which was soft and fluffy with a nice bite--definitely the highlight. Roti was a little more disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend getting it without ordering a curry to dip it in, since it didn't have any flavor. My only complaint with it was that it didn't have any actual curry on it but they never said it did so honestly more of a customer error. I should've asked! The first time we went, the food was really good. Unfortunately, our second visit was disappointing. The butter chicken was just chunks of chicken, and the malai kofta tasted almost identical to the butter chicken sauce--no hint of cashew, same color, very bland. I had asked for "really mild," but the dishes were extremely spicy. On top of that, the worker touched the inside of the to-go container with her bare hands, which was off-putting. Directions: Very easy access off of the 15 Fwy take the El Cerrito exit head West and on the West side of the 15 Fwy take an immediate right into the shopping center. When I entered I was delighted to see a large print, non moving menu with a lot of choices which at first was a little overwhelming for us old guys! However the more I looked at it the more I saw a lot of interesting items to try. Since I know my Indian food I decided to go with the old standby butter chicken and chicken curry. Afterwards I decided that I will come back to try some of the very cool items like Indian pizza, taco's, hamburgers, kabob's and fries! All made fresh with Indian ingredients!
