Some of the best Indian food I've had! Nothing was overly greasy or heavy. Everything was seasoned so well. We particularly liked the chef special butter chicken biryani and the yogurt sauce that comes with it. The naans are so fluffy. Service was spot on and if you have any questions they're very helpful. Restaurant was super clean and nice inside but I do wish there was music playing. Definitely will return, especially for that butter chicken biryani! Also- love that curries come with rice!

Lamb biriyani. Huge serving and very good.

Rasam may be the new kid on the block, opening a month ago (in November 2025), but you must go over and introduce yourself. There is a friendly bunch of people eagerly waiting to serve you some of the most extraordinary, authentic Indian food I've had in a very long time. This is a true Corona gem. This small restaurant is located in the same shopping mall as Ralph's, in the Sierra del Oro neighborhood. The interior is charming, adorned with sparkling chandeliers and an entire wall covered in moss and large leafy plants. They have both table and booth seating so they can easily adapt to small or large groups. Lots of parking. My eyes got bigger and bigger as I read the list of foods on their impressive, 6 page menu. Many dishes I had never heard of before but each sounded very interesting and mouthwatering. Hard to choose! There is a wide variety that will please both vegetarian and carnivore. You will find Fish, chicken, lamb, goat, and egg entrees, and a very interesting section devoted only to dosas. We finally managed to narrow our first meal choices down to two appetizers and two entrees. Gobi Manchurian appetizer. Delicious! This is battered, fried cauliflower bites tossed in a sauce that is quite similar to a delicate sweet & sour. There were coarse chunks of garlic throughout but it was not a pervasive flavor. I could have easily quit right there and claimed the entire plate for myself, it was that good. It was a very generous serving. Samosa (3). Each was large in size, with delicious spices in the vegetable filling. The pastry was tender but crispy. This came with two dipping sauces, tart tamarind and a creamy mint. Really good. Chicken Hariyali Kabob. This kabob is an extremely generous serving of tender, juicy, boneless thigh meat that has been marinated in a coriander mint marinade. This came dramatically presented on a sizzling hot, iron platter that created a delicious char on the meat. The flavors were wonderful. I believe the server said it was the equivalent of 2 chicken quarters? Don't quote me on that, but it was a lot of meat. The Lamb Biriyani is a golden saffron rice dish combined with chunks of tender, slow cooked lamb. The spices were spot on. It was beautifully presented in a large bowl covered by a single, puffy, plain naan and came paired with two small cups of tart yogurt raitia and an amazing, obviously house made orange peel (?) chutney. The chutney was quite special. They had just finished making a fresh batch of mango lassi. Mr. B, of course, had to try it. Like everything else, it was excellent with just the right balance of ingredients so it was fruity but not overly sweet. Well done! For having been open for just one month, things were run very smoothly. The beautifully plated food came out very quickly and was very delicious. Their unapologetic yet enthusiastic use of exotic Indian spices made for a exciting meal, full of complex blends of flavors but willing to hold back on the spicy-hot element when asked. I'm happy to announce there was plenty to bring home for another day. The prices were very reasonable. There is really no Indian restaurant that compares to Rasam in our region. I'm giving them ten thumbs up and giving you a big nudge to see for yourself.

    Chefs Special Butter Chicken Biriyani

Wow, what an amazing restaurant!! I love Indian food and have been a bit bummed out by some other spots in the area, but I am sure to come back to Rasam. The Butter Chicken Biriyani was so delicious and flavorful. My mom got the Butter Chicken Curry and it was delicious as well! The Gulab Jamun was the BEST PART!!! Service was great, and the interior of the restaurant is very nice and beautiful. Definitely worth the trip, and will be back soon!

Wow, a South Indian spot that's not Hyderabadi or Chennai, but Kerala?! The Malabar dum biryani and lemon pickle seriously made me feel like I was back in Kerala, India. Thank you so much! That biryani was so good, I've never had anything so flavorful and tasty around here, even in Artesia. I hate it when places claim to have biryani, but Malabar Biryani is on a whole other level - "vere level aanu"! We ate it all up, so no pics this time, but I'll definitely post some next time.

My partner raved about this place and expressed I must try. I was not disappointed. The dosas were to perfection and chutneys are tasty and delicious. Chicken tikka is a must try! I certainly recommend you to stop by and give this small business a try.

New South Indian restaurant in Corona including authentic cuisine from Kerala! We love the place. The food is authentic and delicious. The place is clean, has good ambiance and good service. Me being a foodie from Kerala and passionate about cooking, I will say the food at Rasam is delicious and authentic. The Dum Biriyani was flavorful and tasty with perfectly slow-cooked rice, spices and the tender meat. The Kerala mango fish curry and traditional breads, Kerala Parotta and Appam, were mouthwateringly delicious! South Indian masala dosa and coconut chutney were also delicious and authentic! Definitely recommend this place if you crave for some authentic non-mainstream ethnic South-western Indian cuisine.

Recently opened Rasam offers truly authentic flavors with a delicious, homemade touch. We tried the unnakaya, saag paneer, and gobi Manchurian -- each dish was delicious and absolutely mouth-watering.They also serve a wide variety of tandoor items; if you enjoy a little spicy food, their bullet naan is a must-try -- packed with flavor and incredibly tasty!Loved the interior décor, especially the photo frames and the live plant arrangements on the wall . Overall, a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be returning!

    Butter Chicken

The Butter Chicken is amazing! So much flavor, I could eat it everyday. The staff were friendly and explained the menu to me. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely Delicious! At RASAM - It tasted just like back home -- full of authentic flavor and comfort. The food presentation was top-notch, and the service was equally impressive. The biriyani was flavorful and aromatic, truly authentic! The dahi poori was delightfully tangy and fresh, and the bullet chicken was perfectly crunchy and delicious. Great ambiance as well. We loved every dish and enjoyed every min of this dining experience, will definitely be back soon

I was really impressed by the scrolled 'crepe' stuffed with aloo (potatoes) and spices, and the array of dipping sauces and chutney. It was a really long time before I had another dosa at Seven Rivers in Riverside. A few years later and I got wind of Dosalicious in Corona off McKinley and the 91 Freeway. It's in a shopping center towards the back section, but once you find it, parking isn't an issue. Inside it's open and larger than you think, with some depth and extended seating. Basically, order at the counter and pay later, or whatever. The non-dosa entrées look really good in pictures, so I'm eager to try more but dosas are their namesake, so I got one that resembles my first experience in Chicago. The selection of dosas was remarkable though, so next time I should bring a friend or two to have a wider sampling. It didn't take long to arrive and while not scrolled, it was presented like a folded pocket, which fit the plate and facilitated tearing and dipping. Yes, finger food. Inside the potatoes seemed closer to mashed potatoes but flavor wise it was similar to past similar dishes. I enjoyed the two provided sauces a lot, and ultimately, it sat very light and I wasn't full, but not immediately hungry afterwards, either. Down the road I'll expand my horizons through a few visits targeting more menu choices. Very good overall. Yes, plastic silverware and disposable paper plates are what you get here, but that's not a deal breaker for me. Besides, have you ever worked in a restaurant and had to wash dishes in the back? It's hot and nasty work, I'm sure this is behind that calculus.

"No thank you" I said and asked about the gland, they had already removed it. We love that. However they kept asking me how I wanted it cut and this is when I started to get protective of little Lucius. I had been thinking of names the whole way there you see. I knew he was a Lucius the moment I saw him. Anyway, I told them I wanted to cut! A little shrilly I might add. Well, that certainly got the point across as they all laughed and apologized. I grabbed a trash bag off the shelf and said let's go! We bagged em and they even carried him to my car! Well that was just the beginning. My food came out 15 minutes after ordering and was piping hot. I was excited to see my food made to order. Portion size 2/5: At first glance, it looked like a ton of food. However, there was only 4 small pieces of chicken in the chicken curry, a decent amount of potatoes and cauliflower in the mixed vegetables, and 80% of the plate was rice. After finishing the curry, I had 50% of my rice left. For $14.99 before tax, I did think the meal wasn't worth the price based on the quantity. Mossoor dal, 4/5: A lentil soup. Initially I drank it piping hot and thought it was too watery and flavorless. But once I let it cool down, I started gulping and got hit with a flavor bomb of spices, lentils, onions. This was the part of the combo. Rice, 2/5: The rice wasn't seasoned with any flavorings or fats. Since it's meant to be eaten with the curry I didn't mind the lack of flavor too much. However, the rice wasn't firm but a bit soft. Thankfully the rice wasn't mushy. But eating the rice alone was a boring experience. Mixed vegetables curry 3/5: As mentioned earlier, it was a mix of potatoes and cauliflower. It was seasoned well with the spices, but the flavor isn't what I would call complex. The curry was also fairly oily. The potatoes were soft and a bit creamy, and the cauliflower was firm. A nice mix of textures, and I concluded this curry was in the middle of the road compared to other places I had. Chicken curry, 0/5: Unfortunately, the chicken itself had no flavor. Despite using dark meat, it tasted as if it was simply boiled in hot water and had zero seasoning. The chicken tasted as if it was coated with oil (which will make sense in a bit), leaving in an unpleasant after taste of oil surrounding my tongue. The curry was even worse. The curry looked to be 50% oil, 50% curry solids and tasted even worse. It tasted like vegetable oil; no flavor at all. Maybe just a semblance of spice. Even when I tried to drain the oil out from my spoon, I tasted barely anything but heat. I hate wasting food, but I contemplated in throwing it away in disgust. Overall, I would had given this place a 1 star review for the chicken curry alone. However, the soup barely saves the meal, and I bumped it to 2 stars as a result.
