Amazing Kerala cuisine. Closest to what you can get at the best places in Kerala. The spices were on point and you could keep eating without feeling guilty. We ordered the fish fry, chicken and mutton Biriyani. Biriyani is malabar style read more

The two stars are for the first two visits at the restaurant. The first time was back in November when they just started, the owners were around. That time the service and food were both good. The second time around, the vadas were super oily and the service was mediocre. However, my third visit today was a bad experience. We had a large party and order a variety of items. I am vegan so specially requested for a vegan plain dosa and also made sure to check if the sides that came with the dosa were vegan. We had two plain dosa orders for our table, one was vegan and the other was the standard version. The server messed up badly and specifically gave me the non vegan dosa. I am severely lactose intolerant and cannot take dairy in any form, which is why I always triple check with restaurants to make sure I get vegan (not vegetarian) food. The server gave me the standard dosa and gave the other person on the table the vegan dosa. I got super sick just after eating the dosa- sick in my stomach, nauseous, throwing up etc. all the symptoms that happen to me when I eat dairy because I'm severely lactose intolerant. I figured the dosas must've been switched by the server (which is why I got so sick shortly after eating) because the standard plain dosa came really late and mine came early. They clearly don't understand the difference between vegan and vegetarian items. The server said everything with a "V" on the menu is "vegan" but they have a "V" next to a "Paneer" item, which is cheese/dairy based. This is clearly incorrect food classification and a lack of understanding of basic food allergens. If this happened to me, it could definitely happen to anyone else who has dietary issues or allergies. Most Indian restaurants don't take food allergens and classification seriously or lack even a basic understanding of this. However, this is a serious health and safety issue. People won't complain if the food doesn't taste as good or as authentic but they definitely will if it makes them sick. Especially if a dietary condition or allergy was clearly communicated multiple times. It's a shame honestly because I really wanted to like this place! read more

This place is delicious! And also great for if you want extra spice, they will accommodate. They're spicy coconut. Chutney was probably the best I've had. Ghee masala dosa is definitely a win! read more

Best Malabar Biryani i ever had from US. Comparable with Rahmath, Paragon Kozhikode. I would definitely go again to try other items as well.

Absolutely phenomenal South Indian food. Every single dish was bursting with flavor--we literally finished everything because it was that good. The Kerala-style biryani was fragrant and perfectly spiced, not heavy or greasy. The Rasoli kabab was tender and flavorful, and the tawa fish had a beautiful balance of spice and crispness without overpowering the fish itself. The Mysore masala dosa was spot on--crispy, spicy, and paired perfectly with the chutneys and sambar. And can we talk about the lime mint drink? So refreshing and perfectly balanced--it tied the whole meal together. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food here. Authentic flavors, great execution, and a meal we're still thinking about. Definitely coming back. We devoured the food and didn't get a picture! But amazing!! read more

What an amazing find! This restaurant has been open for less than 2 months and we are so glad to have found it. The staff was very warm, working hard to please customers! Ambience was excellent... nice decor, comfy seating. Food was delish!! We ordered tamarind eggplant, spring dosa, spring uttapam, cheese dosa and paneer and naan ... it was all delicious! We really enjoyed the visit! read more

This place was inviting with a fine ambiance. It was clean and well lit. The service was very good. The two servers were polite and attentive. The food was prepared as per order. We were group of seven. The paneer dhosa, the ghee masala dhosa, fish curry, skerala style chicken curry, and onion pakoras were prepared just right and were delicious. However, we encountered two issues. This is a South Indian restaurant and Idli is the leading food item in South India. But here, they were out of Idli. It is like Pizza Hut ran out of dough or super market ran out of regular milk. The second issue was chicken nuggets. The chicken nuggets were served cold and uncooked. It was raw. And, yes they were out of the famous filtered coffee of South. Well, being local for the last 40+ years and to support the local small business I will give this place a one more try. read more

Biriyani is superb! The authentic Malabar dum biriyani is outstanding. Fish curry and Kerala porotta is a must try! read more

See all

I have never really tried Indian food before coming here and now I'm hooked. I almost always get butter chicken and rice, but the other food is amazing as well. The restaurant itself is always in great shape, clean and organized. The customer service is amazing as well, I never caught the gentleman's name that's always cleaning, but he's always very friendly. Since the food is amazing, the value for what you're paying for would probably diminish in most cases, but that's just not true here. It's about $20 for the butter chicken I mentioned before, but when they hand you the bag, it feels like you're holding a meal for a family of 3. Amazing value for what is now some of my favorite food. read more

Food felt like home cooking! The cooking was quick, delicious, and tasty. The service was fantastic and efficient The restaurant was really chill and overall, a great experience! Would recommend. read more

Authentic thalassery Biriyani!! loved it. We had both chicken and mutton, both were equally good.

Excellent Kerala food. The biriyani was a 10/10 -- truly authentic Kerala biriyani. The appams, chicken stew, and pepper chicken were all excellent. The appam wasn't perfect and could be improved slightly, but was not bad with the stew. Overall, this is a great option for Mallu food. There really aren't many Kerala restaurants in Los Angeles other than Mayura, so it's refreshing to have another place serving good-quality, authentic food. read more

My wife and I visited this restaurant, and we enjoyed everything--including the atmosphere, service, and the food. They have a very elaborate menu that appeals to the diversity of Indian customers. We were specifically looking for South Indian dishes, and we found a great variety. We tried the appam and lamb curry, and both tasted really delicious. The lamb curry was especially authentic and reminded us of true South Indian flavors. We highly recommend this place if you're craving Indian food--you won't regret it! read more

Soooooo good. Service was amazing. Were greeted by a very friendly staff who took the time to explain different dishes to us. We usually get the same two or three things but decided to try some new items based on his recommendation. The garlic and cheese nan and flaky naan were amazing. For the dishes she got the mint chicken kabob and the chefs special butter chicken rice dish. Both were so flavor and delicious! Definitely a must try! read more

The food is okay. Ive ate at every Indian spot in Corona and unfortunately this is my least favorite. The meat is actually cooked amazingly (goat curry) but the curry completely lacks in flavor. I asked for the spiciest they had and it was very mild and bland. They don't give you enough rice or naan (separate charge) for your order. I would give it another shot however the ambiance in here is just way too awkward. Bright lights and no music, just dead silence while the staff awkwardly stares at you. I suggest takeout or a completely different option. read more

Our group of friends went to Rasam for dinner today and we have to say it was great to find a spot with good Kerala food. The Malabar dum biriyani, appom, fish curry and parotta were all good. Went to Rasam for the first time a few weeks ago and the food was delicious! We got noodles for the kids - although it wasn't listed on the menu but was listed online and they were able to make it. We also got dosa to share between my husband and I and it was spicy and delicious. I'll definitely be back to try the other dishes and the service was great too. So glad there's an Indian restaurant in corona that's close by! read more

Really great food and ambience, the staff were friendly and attentive. Everything was delicious, I especially recommend the eggplant dosas.

We went to Rasam on Christmas Day all the way from Los Angeles. The food was the most authentic Kerala food you can get in and around Los Angeles. The appam and stew, paal kappa and fish curry were the highlights. We will be back again for the scrumptious food and the warm hospitality! read more

Food was pretty good and great customer service. Since it is a new restaurant still some dishes could be improved slightly to cater towards south indian taste but I would say parotta, appam and mutton biryani were fantastic. Still would highly recommend the place as it was just a great ambience and a good place to get some nice south indian food. read more

I really enjoyed dining here! The dishes were very flavorful, fresh, and authentically spicy! The plain naan was also so fluffy and tasty, even without the use of heavy oil or butter. Everyone here was very kind and dishes were brought out hot and fresh! I think this is one of the best Indian restaurants I've dined at in Southern California and would highly recommend it! read more

Amazing food. Service was pretty on point and ambiance was so good with few people in tables. The best food part was my pepper chicken dosa.

Food is tasty especially the authentic kerala dishes. As far as service, need some improvement. Ambiance is beautiful and clean

Beautiful restaurant inside, nicely decorated. The Chicken Biriyani and Butter Chicken were tasty and made to our liking. Service was great and the staff/owners were eager to please and make sure we were having a great experience. Reasons for the 4/5 stars: the booth table was so far from the booth seat that I had to sit at the very edge, maybe they can move the booth seat closer to the tables. The silverware was on the table, in a container, facing up, which means we had to touch the tops (the part that you eat off of, not the handle). Not liking that too much because we don't know who touched the utensils before us. Lastly, this wonderful food was served beautifully, but we ate off of plastic plates. The plastic plates did not match the vibe and quality of the food. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. I know it is a new place with room for growth and improvement. read more
